My god, would you quit obsessing over CyberZilla? And no, Toho did not get the idea for Kiryu from CyberZilla. CyberZilla was inspired by Mechagodzilla, not the other way around. |

You may be right, Megas. Toho liked GODZILLA: THE SERIES and released the show in Japan, so they were well aware of Cyber Godzilla (not Cyber Zilla). Toho has been known to reuse ideas from outside sources before so they easily could have done it with Kiryu. Cyber Godzilla was definitely influenced by Mechagodzilla, but the cartoon character is the first type of Mecha G to combine both mechanical parts and Godzilla's biological material. Cyber Godzilla was created in 1998 and premiered on GODZILLA: THE SERIES in early 1999, so he was around for years before Kiryu was introduced in 2002. |

He was injured from being fired at by the humans, that's why he has metallic parts on him. |

I'll explain that. And when I say Godzilla, I'm refering to G.I.N.O. You see, Godzilla had been killed through likes of missiles. That means that the explosions could have damaged the body parts of Godzilla. They were either amputated because of that, or because they decided to add extra cybernetic parts to make him more powerful. But that's just my opinion. Others may speculate... EDIT: Dang, EM beat me to the punch.

Of course Toho has used ideas for outside sources. Why couldn't they? |

I belive that CyberGodzilla was the baby godzilla that hatched from that egg at the end of the GINO movie. It ended up fighting the japness Godzilla in Final Wars. Once defeated the sienticts found him and began to give him cyborg parts. 15 years later in New York when GINO's gradson appered he fought his father whitch was the GINO that hatched from that eggg now with cyborg parts. Oh yeah I beleive that the nick tutopolis in the GINO cartoon is the son of the nick in GINO. But that is just my opinon. |

Opinion or not, you're wrong on all counts. 1. Cyber-Godzilla is the original GINO revived by the aliens. This was stated in the Monster Wars trilogy of Godzilla: The Series. 2. The Zilla that appears throughout the cartoon series is the one that hatched from the egg at the end of the movie. Again, this was stated in the series. 3. GFW has no connection with either Godzilla '98 or Godzilla: the Series. 4. It is the same Nick Tatopolous. |

That makes no sense.... it's like watching the original STAR WARS and then saying, "I believe Luke Skywalker is a robot. Princess Leia came from earth and her real name is Judy. Ben Kenobi cut Darth Vader in two and then he took control of the Death Star and made it the most popular disco in the galaxy". I worked on GODZILLA: THE SERIES, and who the characters are was well explained. If you watched the show, the only way you can believe the things you do is to completely ignore what happened in the show... and if you're going to ignore the show, why bother watching it in the first place?
The first episode of G:TS picks up immediately after the end of the 1998 GODZILLA. Nick finds the the one surviving baby, and that baby grows into the Godzilla who stars in the cartoon series.
In the episode that introduces Cyber Godzilla, it clearly stated that the Leviathan Aliens got their hands on the corpse of the first American Godzilla and turned him into a cyborg.
G:TS takes place in 1998-99, not 2013.
That's 100% wrong. The first episode of G:TS recreates the taxi chase from the end of the movie, so you get to see the cartoon versions of Nick, Audrey, Animal, and Phillipe. The same Nick from the taxi immediately goes back to the ruins of Madison Square Garden and finds the baby Godzilla. The rest of the show goes from there. Several characters from the movie are also in G:TS (Nick, Audrey, Animal, Elsie, Craven, Mayor Ebert, Hicks, Phillipe) so it's obvious the series does not take place a generation after the movie. |

To say its the truth shows how incredibly stupid you are. You may believe what you will, but what you believe is NOT the truth, but a bunch of assumptions better suited for a fanfic. |
