Which one of Mothra's themes is your favorite? Note, this is instrumental theme, not singing theme. |

I love all of the Mothra themes, but I voted for the GvsM ones because they're particually just revamped versions of what we heard in MvsG, which I personally consider to be "classic" or "official" themes of the moth. The ones I like most are both the theme heard at the end of the "main title" from GvsM, which is also from the song "Mahara Mothra;" the "Mothra's Song" melody, of course is number one, and "Sacred Springs" as well, which was revamped into "Mothra's Theme" heard throughout the Heisei film. Like I said, it's very much the same as from the original G-M conflict, but I voted for it because of the various "re-scoring" done to them. Plus it has my favorite version of Mothra's Song.

I have a hard time deciding, I love them all. I do really like Mothra's theme in Tokyo S.O.S. though, it is mysterious and beautiful at the same time. I love them all I guess!

I don't believe we have that setting here, it may be coming in Invisionfree's next upgrade though. I shall add a "Can't Make Up my Mind" option though. |

I have a hard time deciding as well, but because I am an ignoramus as what parts of the scores in these Mothra films constitute a theme. Despite the fact my senses have dulled over the years I liked Mothra's "theme" from ROM(1996). I liked the entire score for Rebirth Of Mothra(1996). Beautiful music.

I agree with you there! It would have been interesting if they used Mothra's themes and songs from the ROM Trilogy in movies such as Tokyo S.O.S., and GFW. Well, in GFW's case, I'd prefer any Mothra theme since there is none.

You could also count the "Infant Island" song from the film as Mothra's "new" theme, though it sounds more like it belongs in Star Trek.... |

I do agree with you, it sounded very....celestial...I like it though, but I think they could have created a better piece for Mothra's theme. Well, I don't think she was in the movie long enough for a theme.....

actually, I ment it belonged in a ST film because IT IS the ST theme! Just listen to the first few seconds of the "Mothra" song, and then compare it to the beging credits of either TOS or TNG. |

That question has crossed my mind several times as well. They should have just brought back Michiru Oshima, she did very well on the GxMG and Tokyo S.O.S. scores. They barely ever used any of Goji's previous themes either, which was pretty annoying to think about. |

I'm not questioning Emerson's talent (though GFW doesn't give a very good first-impression); I'm saying that Emerson should have known better than to rip off, note for note, the world famous Star Trek theme. |

You notice how they never use that little Star Trek theme on the new Star Treks anymore, like on Enterprise, Voyager or DS9....(just noticed it) I wonder why they don't include that mysterious little beginning piece. Anyhoo, I would have preferred someone like Oshima, she made some beautiful pieces, and they would be nice for GFW. Emerson, I don't mind his choice of music, I just don't believe that, that specific music is suitable for a Godzilla movie. |

I wonder what version of the "Mosura No Uta" Emerson could come up with? |
