  • The FFKT, Realm of Expressive Imagination, and RPG categories have been condensed into one category known as Member Creativity. That should de-clutter the main index a bit to make it easier for people to navigate.

    I am Legend
    Gojulas Giga

    Classification: Kaiju-class mech
Height: 120 meters (Grapple Mode), 102 meters (Pursuit Mode)
Length: 208 meters (Grapple Mode), 246 meters (Pursuit Mode)
    Weight: 120,000 tons
    Max Speed: 180 km/h
*Note: height, length, and weight are base values, and do not include the Giga Cannons.

    Attacks
    Jaws:
Giga’s jaws are incredibly powerful, capable of rending even the toughest of metal or flesh.

    Tail Blades:
Mounted on the tip of Giga’s tail are a pair of sharp blades. These blades can charge with energy to further increase their cutting power.

    Giga Cannons:
A pair of massive cannons mounted on Giga’s back.

    Thunder Strike:
Giga can fire off dozens of bolts of lightning from his spines.

*All attacks are described in greater detail in the origin section.

    Other abilities
    Stance Shift:
Giga can shift between Grapple mode and Pursuit mode as the need arises.

    Organoid System:

Giga has an Organoid System, just like his brother the Berserk Fuhrer.

    Origin:
About halfway through the development of the Berserk Fuhrer, Guylos Industries began work on a second mech. Due to the base technology already being in existence, development time was much shorter.

The end result was the Berserk Fuhrer’s slightly younger, but considerably larger brother: the Gojulas Giga. The Giga boasts the same advanced armor as the Fuhrer, but considerably thicker. He also has an Organoid system, just like his brother. However, unlike his brother, the Gojulas Giga is designed more to overpower opponents with sheer brute force as opposed to weaponry.

The Gojulas Giga has a truly impressive set of jaws. The hydraulics are immensely powerful, and when the size and sturdiness of his teeth are added to the equation, the results of a full-force bite are... not pretty. His gripper claws, while not very large, are very strong as well. Borrowing from his brother’s design, the Gojulas Giga has a pair of 50 meter long blades on the tip of his tail. These blades are very sharp on their own, but they are able to charge with laser energy. This is a slight improvement over the electrostatic charge that the Berserk Fuhrer’s Buster Claws use. The laser energy is more intense, so the cutting power is increased by a larger amount. The downside is the Gojulas Giga’s blades aren’t quite as sharp as the Fuhrer’s to begin with, so the end result is about the same.

Of interesting note is the Gojulas Giga’s ability to shift his stance. These stances, called Grapple mode and Pursuit mode, are used to accommodate varying battle situations. In Pursuit mode, his body his held horizontally, allowing for faster movement. Grapple mode is the main combat mode, in which his stance is more vertical. Changing stances can be done on the fly without stopping.

Despite being designed for melee combat, the Gojulas Giga’s most apparent weapon is a ranged one. The Giga Cannons, as they are called, basically amount to pissed-off battleship cannons on steroids. The ridiculously large shells fired by these ridiculously large cannons are capable of leaving craters 140 meters in diameter and 15 meters deep.

A much less conspicuous, yet even more devastating attack is the Thunder Strike. Housed in each plate along Giga’s back, neck, and tail is an ion generator, which when charged will unleash a massive bolt of electricity. In order to execute this attack, Giga must be in Pursuit mode and have his footlocks in place. The footlocks are a safety measure to prevent the attack from discharging back into himself. After a relatively short charge-up (about 3 seconds), 20 bolts of raw electrical power discharge from Giga’s plates and strike the target. Due to safety concerns, the attack may only be performed once every 3 minutes. The ion generators have a failsafe circuit in order to prevent their use within that limit.

The Gojulas Giga is nearly complete, and will be ready for operation very soon.

    Appearance:
Gojulas Giga from Zoids, equipped with the CP-10 Gojulas Cannons.

    Fighting Style:
Giga was designed to overpower his opponents with sheer brute force, but is well equipped for ranged combat as well. Overall a very rounded fighter. As with the Berserk Fuhrer, he only becomes stronger as time passes due to the learning capabilities of the Organoid System.
