Dark ghidorah vs Kyoyrabi A sequel to Godzilla vs. space Godzilla Nobody at G-center knew where Godzilla was, they had searched everywhere they could think of, but still no sign of him. Rumours were starting to spread that he was dead. It was three months since the “Space Godzilla” incident but no one had forgotten about it, electrical equipment around the area where the fight took place was still going wrong, the tower was still down, but strangest of all was a strange illness that was spreading to people who were in the area. It only lasted a few weeks but it was bad, sickness, headaches and a strange rash were the most common symptoms. Most of the Japanese medical scientists say that Space Godzilla’s cells enter the body causing the illness, why, nobody knows. That is why the G-Centre scientists think Godzilla is dead because of this illness. G-Centre 10:15pm: “Mr Nakamura sir, come quick we think we’ve found Godzilla!” Mr Nakamura got up out of leather chair, opened his door and walked down the corridor; he hoped the team had in fact found Godzilla, and not some other monster - hopefully dead, but if he was alive at least they could keep track of him. The other G-Centre recruits saluted Mr Nakamura as he walked down the corridor; he thought nothing of it and carried on walking until he got to the elevator. He stepped in and set it to go to the top floor, floor fifty, where he was going to investigate the claim made by the lady. He waited as the elevator rose and thoughts flashed into his mind about the battle that happened only three months ago. Mr Nakamura had been the boss of G centre for almost a year now; he was about six foot tall and quite chubby. He glanced at his reflection in the metallic door of the elevator - he was getting on to fifty now, and it showed - wrinkles lined his eyes and mouth, but he wasn’t getting grey hair yet - he still had his short jet black hair and moustache. He has been obsessed with Godzilla ever since Godzilla first appeared in Tokyo forty years ago, 1954 when he was just ten years old. He had started studying obsessively at the age of sixteen, and signed up when G-Centre was first made, and since then had been promoted to head of operations. Everyone at the centre said Mr Nakamura was obsessed with Godzilla and you could tell by his office, stacks of Godzilla pictures, figures and newspaper cuttings - but that was to be expected with his job - but he also had several books at home on Godzilla and spent most of his nights studying video clips of him. He had devoted his entire life to chasing Godzilla, and that’s one of the reasons why he hadn’t settled down and got married and had children. PING - the elevator arrived at floor fifty and the doors slid open, Mr Nakamura watched the many G centre workers working at the computers. A young lady came forward. “Hello there Mr Nakamura, please follow me” The lady led Mr Nakamura along to nearly the front of the large room to a projector. “As you can see sir we have detected a large heat signature coming from the northwest,” The lady explained pointing to a large red and orange blotch on the projection. “And where is this?” Mr Nakamura asked. “That’s the puzzling part, it’s in Antarctica, last time we tracked Godzilla’s signal he was heading in a south-eastern direction, even at Godzilla’s speed it’s almost impossible for him to have changed course and gotten to Antarctica so quickly” the woman responded. “Send a team out right away, to check it out” Mr Nakamura instructed. “Send a helicopter to land in the nearest research station. I think it may be Italian one” “No sir, we’ve checked, it’s a Russian one” “Ok, send a translator” Mr Nakamura replied. “Yes sir, right away” Antarctica: 7:15am, the next day: The helicopter hovered over the Russian research station, preparing to land on the helipad. The team glanced out and saw the Russian flag flying high over the research station. Two men came out in thick woolly coats. After hovering for a few minutes it landed, the doors slid open and the team stepped out. The consisted of two men, one who spoke Russian, and two women each dressed in big woolly clothes, one of the men had a mobile phone to keep in contact with G-Centre. The Russian men walked over to them. “Мы рады встретить Вас” one tall Russian man said, before shaking hands with all of them. “We are glad to see you” the translator said to them. “Tell them we are grateful for there service” the other man said. “Спасибо за то, что позволять нам используют вашу вертолетную площадку” the translator said. “Это - удовольствие, мы не хотели бы международный кризис” the other Russian man replied. “He says it’s alright, they wouldn’t want a global crisis” the translator said. “Ok, tell them it’s a pleasure to meet them but we must go now” the taller woman said. “Это - удовольствие встретить Вас, но мы должны препятствовать теперь” the translator said. The team waved goodbye and began walking away from the research station. The other man promptly pulled out his mobile phone, dialled the number and started to talk. “How far away are we from the signal?” he asked. “About 120 feet northeast of your current position,” said the operator at G-centre. The team started walking, and had been walking straight ahead until they came to a giant glacier. They went up to inspect it; and to there surprise there was something inside it! “Hello, G-Centre we’ve found a gigantic glacier and there’s something inside it” the man said excitedly to G-Centre. “Well what is it?” asked the operator at G-Centre “Well whatever it is it’s…its gold and, well, black!” said the man in surprise. “Eh? We haven’t got a kaiju like that on file!” said the person at G-Centre sounding surprised. “What should we do?” said the man in Antarctica. “Well… keep looking and report back if anything happens - and remember, be careful” And then the line was cut off. “Oh my freaking gosh… the ice… it’s…it’s…cracking!” the other woman said, screaming. And she was right, the ice was cracking slowly… the crack was growing… it was about to break! Suddenly a gigantic golden head broke out! The team ran away in shock and terror when suddenly a second gigantic head and neck broke out and then a third! But these two were a black colour. And finally a massive scaly golden and black body exploded out with tremendous force sending shards of sharp ice in every direction - one the shards hit the translator in the leg and dug into his skin. “AAAAAA!” he screamed in pain, as blood trickled down his leg, he managed to take a few steps before falling to the icy cold ground and rolling over to the edge of a slope that gave way to the icy cold sea. He heard the almost deafening roar of the beast and watched as the thing took to the sky with its two massive black, sleek wings and watched in complete horror as the beast flew over him creating a massive and extremely strong gust of wind that almost sent him plummeting into the sea below, the gust of wind blew him to the edge, and his legs fell below him, but fortunately he managed to grab the edge of the cliff, and hung on for his life. He didn’t realise the pain in his leg for he was to shocked about what had happened, thinking about how close he came to death… but then he heard a sound, the worst sound that he could have heard at that moment - the sound of cracking. The edge of the ice couldn’t hold his weight… a tear went down his face then the ice gave way and he fell… fell to his doom. Meanwhile the rest of the team ran as fast as they could to get to the helicopter, they managed to run all the way forward until the research centre was in sight, but then they heard the crackly roar of the monster. They ran as fast as they could to the helipad, the man ran slightly quicker then the two women, but just as he was about to get in, a massive electric blue lightning shaped bolt hit the base, and it exploded, sending fireballs everywhere, one which hit the helicopter and it exploded in a fiery blast killing the team member which was getting in, and badly burning the woman who was just behind him. So, there were two that were left, and they were stranded in this icy hell mere fodder for the devil that had escaped from its icy prison. G-Centre 8:00 AM (just after the incident): “Come in, come in team, come in” the people at G centre were still trying to get in contact in with the team who had not answered the call for ten minutes. “Any luck?” Mr Nakamura asked anxiously. “Still none sir” said the operator working the phone. “What on earth happened?” said Mr Nakamura to himself, but his pondering didn’t last long because after a few seconds a lady stood up. “A UFO, THERE, AND ITS HEADING FOR JAPAN!” the woman screamed, pointing at the computer screen. The image was projected onto the big screen, and the whole team gazed at the board and watched at the white dot on the screen moving toward Japan. “What speed is it at?” said one the scientists who was at the computer. “About seventy miles per hour at the moment, it’s increasing speed by 10 miles every five minutes,” the lady explained. “Can we zoom in and get a picture?” said one of the workers. “Okay I’ll try to get a news feed” said the lady and started typing until she got a picture on the screen, it was just a gold and black blur but you could make out make out the black wings a tiny bit, when it came on the people started talking frantically until one man spoke up. “It’s not a UFO,” he shouted, and this was met by gasps all around the room. His name was Mr. Katsuro Yamashita, he was a 24 year old scientist, he had long black hair, and he wore glasses and had blue eyes. “It’s a monster” “That’s preposterous” said Mr Nakamura “all the monsters are recorded as dead by now except Godzilla who has disappeared” “Oh really, then explain to me why this so called ‘U-F-O’ has wings, and why at the end it splits off into two, no three separate parts,” said Katsuro. Katsuro had graduated from university four years ago and ever since Godzilla and Space Godzilla fought he had studied Godzilla and all kaiju, and after a while he considered himself to be one of the best kaijuoligists alive. That was until he came to G centre about a month ago when he first came here he found out that there were many scientists here, most were more advanced then him in the field of kaijuology. But Katsuro wanted to be the best Kaijuologist alive so he studied long and hard until he was better than anyone else. He was very annoyed that Godzilla had disappeared off the face of the earth just after he had studied so much. “Okay, lets say it is a monster, which one is it?” said Mr Nakamura. “Well my theory from what the team said and from this picture is that its Ghidorah,” said Katsuro, “Ghidorah, don’t you remember Ghidorah was a genetic mutation… and Godzilla killed it! Don’t you remember?” asked one of the other scientists “Yes I am well aware of that and well I have no idea how it got here, but if I were you I would keep an eye on it” and with that Katsuro stormed out, angry that they were questioning his theory. “Alright people back to work,” said Mr Nakamura clapping his hands, and everyone went back to there computers. G centre conference room: 10 am (2 hours later): Mr Nakamura, General fukobe, General Stevenson (of the American navy) and a few of G centre scientists (including Katsuro) were all sitting around a large oval shaped wooden table, Mr Nakamura stood up and addressed General Stevenson. “Thank you all for coming on such short notice, and I am sorry for the lack of explanation on the phone” said Mr Nakamura and he gave a small bow and sat back down at his seat. “As you all know we have a situation on our hands, we suspect Ghidorah is heading for Japan,” Mr Nakamura said. “Wait, just one minute Ghidorah is dead!” said General Stevenson in an accusing tone, sounding shocked. “We are well aware of that, and well - we have a theory” said one the scientists, he stood up and walked towards the end of the room where there was a screen, the lights were dimmed and everyone looked at the screen. He clicked a button, and it showed a picture of the Russian base in Antarctica. “Here is a picture of the Russian research base close to where Ghidorah is found” He clicked another button, and it showed a silhouette of the base, with green and red patterns all around it. “Here is the same picture, but taken with a radiation-sensing photograph. As you can see, there are high levels of radiation emitted by the research centre” “We know” said the scientist, “but what are you trying to get at?” asked a scientist before sitting down again. “We believe that Ghidorah has always been there, perhaps preserved in the ice, but since the research base was set up, radiation levels have increased, perhaps melting the ice and awakening Ghidorah” “The real question is what on earth we are going to do about it!” said General Stevenson thumping his fists on the table. “There is a small chance that Ghidorah is going to change course” said Katsuro, trying to offer some hope. “I’m not going to take that chance” said Mr Nakamura, and he stood up “General Stevenson set up a line of defence”. “I’ll lead it myself” said General Stevenson. Tokyo bay: 10pm: The convoy of ten steel ships glinted in the moonlight, the crew inside waiting, waiting for Ghidorah. They had been there for almost three hours and people were starting to lose interest, thinking the monster wouldn’t come, according to G centre it should have been there about half an hour ago, but it didn’t. “Come in alpha” the walkie talkie crackled but the man on the turret heard the voice of General Stevenson and picked it up. “Yes sir?” asked the man. “Watch the skies for Ghidorah, if its there it’s probably heading your way now” “Yes sir” replied the man and put down the walkie talkie “Yeah, like it’s really going to come,” one of the men said to the person next to him, and the both laughed. “It looks like them Japanese kooks have screwed up again” And then suddenly a massive golden lighting shaped bolt came down from the sky, lighting up the night sky and hit the end boat. It exploded in a fiery red and orange blast, the black smoke drifting into the night sky, everyone was taken by surprise. “AAAAA!” the man at the turret cried out and starting firing rapidly into nothing. “STOP FIRING,” General Stevenson’s voice rang out of the walkie talkie to the man on the turret above him, but still the man fired, and then another lightning shaped bolt appeared accept this one was a blue colour - it hit the next boat and it also exploded in a blast of fire. The other people in the line of defence saw the crew members trying to jump overboard to escape the fire and smoke curved into a mushroom cloud. the screams of the crew echoed through the air. “THERE IT IS!” General Stevenson shouted to the man (who had just stopped firing) at the turret he was pointing to a golden speck in the sky, which was approaching them. “FIRE!” general Stevenson shouted to the first man but nothing happened. “WHAT THE HELL, YOU ASSHOLE, FIRE!” General Stevenson shouted his face red with anger. “I’M OUT OF AMMO!” the man shouted back. “You idiot you’ve killed us all, you were meant to get him down and then the second line was meant to finish him off! I can’t reorganise now!” General Stevenson muttered and then went to pull out his gun, an automatic revolver that he always carried for protection, wanting to punish the man himself, but then he felt the rumble below his feet and then heard the deafening roar of Ghidorah… right next to him… he froze… his gun fell to the floor with a clatter… slowly he turned around. He saw it, the massive scaly gold and black body, he looked up to see a long neck and a golden head with electric blue empty eyes in the middle, he looked over to the sides to see two jet black heads with two blood red eyes that were staring at him evilly, he was frozen to spot… he knew his best bet was to jump over board… but he couldn’t. Just then the middle head opened his mouth and fired a golden shaped lightning bolt, straight at him… Tokyo city: 11pm: “PLEASE EVACUATE THE AREA OF TOKYO, ONLY TAKE ESSENTIALS, GET UNDERGROUND IF POSSIBLE DO NOT GO ONTO HIGH FLOORS WHEN GHIDORAH IS IN YOUR AREA! REAPET STAY OFF OF HIGH FLOORS WHEN GHIDORAH IS IN YOUR AREA!” the voice boomed out to the people of Tokyo. On the streets there were thousands of people running, most of them confused after having been woken up, then a lightning bolt came from the sky and it hit a skyscraper. The middle part exploded in blast of fire and rubble then the rest of it collapsed hitting another smaller building which was smashed to the ground. The roar of ghidorah echoed through the streets as it flew over sending blue and gold lightning shaped bolts everywhere, buildings were exploding, people were being killed fire everywhere, it was utter chaos. Back at G-centre: 11:10: Every single person at G centre was watching the screen (except Katsuro) seeing the destruction of there capital city. “Ghidorah… it… looks different,” Katsuro observed (when he looked up) thinking carefully. Nobody replied it was like he was being ignored. “Well we can’t just do nothing!” a lady screamed out to Mr Nakamura, she was crying - “My family is there for Christ’s sake!” “There’s an army group going there now,” Mr Nakamura muttered, he was sad, but he didn’t show it, no matter how hard it was, he knew a good leader had to be strong in all situations, the room was quiet, very quiet…. The only sound was the typing; Katsuro was on his computer typing away looking at the screen. “What the…” Katsuro muttered under his breath for on his screen was signs of a large creature in the Bering Sea, Katsuro decided not to tell Mr Nakamura, he would keep it as his secret until he had conclusive proof of this new find - after all, it could be anything. Tokyo city: 11:20pm: Ghidorah was still moving through the city, still blowing everything up, but there was a group of tanks approaching to try and stop him, but in the meantime there were four military planes coming toward him. “Alright team lets go, formation B when Ghidorah is in sight” The leader’s voice went through to all the planes that were approaching ghidorah, as they flew over Tokyo they saw the destruction that Ghidorah had caused. “Holy crap” said one of the pilots as soon as he saw the chaos. “Here he is up ahead, wait for command then fire your missiles,” said the commander in a very relaxed tone, but the feeling was not mutual. “Alright people get ready…” said the commander into the intercom. Most of the pilots had to strain to see him in the distance but eventually they did (only because they saw the golden part on his back) but one pilot couldn’t. “Ready…” said the commander “What the hell… where is it?” said the pilot straining his eyes. “Aim…” said the commander “What, wait where the hell is…” “FIRE!” shouted the commander and all the planes (but one) fired a white and red missile and then veered of to the left - the missiles went fast toward ghidorah but the one plane hadn’t followed formation and was still heading straight forward - and he was heading straight for Ghidorah! “Plane c, what on earth are you doing you’re heading straight for ghidorah!” the commanders voice shouted, booming loudly out of the intercom “Sir I can’t see…what the… oh no sh…” the pilot spotted ghidorah about two seconds too late and his plane smashed straight into Ghidorah’s back in a fiery explosion. Ghidorah gave of a terrifying roar and turned around just in time to receive a belly full of missiles. Ghidorah was covered in fire and smoke for a few seconds, while the planes circled. Everyone’s heart was beating rapidly as the flame and smoke cleared and when it did… there was nothing there. “YES!” “WOOO!” the pilots screamed out in joy and glee, admiring their work at destroying Ghidorah once and for all. “Come in G centre,” said the commander into the intercom. “Yes commander” said Mr Nakamura at G- centre. “Ghidorah is no longer a thre…” Suddenly a blue lightning shaped bolt came up from the ground and hit the commander’s plane - the left wing exploded setting fire to the engine and suddenly the plane starting dropping at incredible speed toward the ground. The commander inside the plane managed to activate the ejector seat and he shot out of the plane - but at that moment the engine exploded in a fiery red blast engulfing the commander in flame and smoke. The rest were taken by surprise, still taking in what had happened. All of a sudden, a golden lightning shaped bolt came from the floor and came toward the next plane, it narrowly missed because the pilot had suddenly accelerated forward blindly, flying forward madly to avoid the projectile. But that only sent him colliding with another plane and they both exploded, and there was one plane left. The plane tried to fly away but another blue bolt came from Ghidorah, who was standing on the ground below. It hit the bottom of the plane and it was sent spinning out of control, the pilot couldn’t control it and it plummeted into the ground and it exploded. Ghidorah gave off a triumphant roar and then took to the sky. Even though the plane hadn’t killed ghidorah they had done their job. Ghidorah’s jet black belly was covered in blood and there was a large gash right across the belly where the missiles had hit, and a huge wound on the golden bit of his front. Instead of carrying on his reign of terror Ghidorah decided to turn around and retreat. For now. Three days later north of Tokyo, near the sea: 12am: Katsuro had managed sneak out of work unnoticed and was driving to Tokyo’s north Bay. He pulled up beside a few old men fishing, he opened his door and got out he shut the door and clicked the button on his keys and the doors locked. He walked along the wooden path until he spotted a sign: self drive motor boats: 25 yen an hour. Since Katsuro was going to check out his discovery he thought that this would be useful, so he walked up to the man next to the sign. “Would you like a motor boat sir” asked the man he was wearing a red and white striped t-shirt, shorts and had a grubby handkerchief around his neck, his was dirty and he looked a bit dodgy. “Err… yeah three hours please,” said Katsuro getting out his wallet. “That’ll be 75 yen please sir” said the man pausing to smoke his pipe, blowing tobacco smoke in Katsuro’s face. Katsuro fished through his wallet and gave the man a handful of notes, the man counted them and then put them in his back pocket. “You should leave your bag here sir, else the gulls’ll ave it” said the man pointing to Katsuro’s blue bag. “Okay then” said Katsuro and put his bag on the floor, but he slipped his wallet in his pocket when the man wasn’t looking (Katsuro didn’t believe him about “the gulls”) he walked toward his rented boat and jumped in. The sea, near Japan: 2pm: Katsuro had been driving his boat for about two hours now and he was sure that he was very near the original signal that he found yesterday. “What…” Katsuro said as he spotted something below him, and thought it was some sort of fish or shark, but when he saw he saw it again he realised it was giant red fin going slicing through the water! It was at least 30 metres long and it was dangerously close. Then he saw something else - a gigantic green tail splashed out of the water only about twenty feet away from him! It was about 5 meters long and it had spikes on the end. Almost immediately it splashed back into the water, heavily rocking Katsuro’s boat (he nearly fell off) the red fin and tail went back under - and he saw nothing more… then suddenly the boat started to rock violently. Katsuro held on to the edge and closed his eyes. He felt moving around him he opened his eyes to he was being lifted from the water! He was at least 20 feet in the air now, no, 100 feet! Now there was water flowing down like a waterfall all around him and he realised he was on top of a gigantic monster! It had orange skin and a gigantic red crest going down his back (half of him was in the water) Katsuro saw that on one side was as big arm and a hand with three extremely sharp claws and on the other side was an arm with a massive crab claw! (Katsuro observed that the arm was abnormally thin and shouldn’t be able to support the claw) - It was around ten times the size of a normal crab claw, it had a small row of tiny spikes inside and it was red and must have weighed at least 100 pounds. The beast gave off an almost bird like roar and snapped its crab claw and hit the water, and when it did Katsuro’s boat fell down off of its shoulder. Katsuro leaped off and grabbed on to the monsters wet, scaly skin and watched as the boat was smashed to bits when it hit the gigantic claw. Then the beast started moving through the water on thick powerful legs, in the space of fifteen minutes it had Tokyo already in sight. Katsuro had no idea what to do he was holding on for dear life, he tried to reach his phone only to realise it had feel out of his coat pocket in all the commotion. The beast’s tail splashed out of the water, his spiked tail was green unlike the rest of his body which was either a light orange or red. The north of Tokyo: 2:45: Katsuro was still holding on and had been for about 45 minutes - his arms were tired, he wanted to let go but he couldn’t, the monster was near the bay where Katsuro had got the boat. Katsuro knew he only had to hang on a bit longer till the monster stepped on the planks then he could climb down and run away as far as he could, away from the monster and the car park which the monster was about to destroy. But, to his surprise, the monster smashed through the wooden planks that were making the path along the bay like they were nothing at all! There were people running and screaming, but Katsuro saw one man was frozen to the spot; a look of sheer terror on his face, the monster stared down at him for a few seconds. Then the beast lifted his claw high in the air and smashed it down on the poor man and with a bone crunching crack, planks of wood were sent flying everywhere - some were sent into a mob of people running away from the bay, flattening most of them. BANG! Something hit the monster and exploded in a blast of flame, it didn’t seem to hurt the monster and Katsuro covered his eyes from the glare of the flame. He knew the monster was being attacked and he knew he wouldn’t survive the attack so he took his chances and jumped off of the beast, the water seemed to be raising to him at incredible speed then, SPLASH! Katsuro hit the water. Hard. Eventually he surfaced and watched the attack. There were five dark green tanks, and about thirty men in army camo that had gathered at the bay all ready to attack the beast before it came to land, hoping to drive it away. “FIRE!” the commander shouted and the tanks fired the missiles at the monster, he let off his bird like cry but apart from that they did nothing “FIRE ROUND 2” shouted the commander and the tanks fired again, still no effect. The beast stepped onto the solid ground next to the tanks, he flicked his great green tail and one the tanks flew into the air and smashed into a small building - the resulting explosion of machinery set the building alight and the tank exploded killing the people inside. The beast roared and smashed his claw down crushing several people and the small shudder it created capsized a tank. “FALL BACK” someone shouted and the people ran back and the tanks started to retreat. But not fast enough. The tanks had only just started to flee when the beast smashed his clawed hand into one of them lifting it of the ground and then throwing it to oblivion. Then the beast stepped on the other one, crushing it to the ground. “Load the RPG (rocket propelled grenade!” somebody shouted) and three men unloaded something from the back of a tank, and they came out with a rocket launcher on there shoulders. “Locked on sir!” said one of them as the monster approached. “Good, 3…2…1 FIRE!” Shouted the commander. A missile shot out of the gun, and the three men were thrown back by the recoil. The rocket headed straight toward the monsters chest, it hit and exploded in a fiery blast, blood shot out of the gaping wound in the monster’s chest, and it screeched in pain as blood dribbled out. But now he was angry. He roared and smashed his claw down at the final tank, it exploded and fire shot out killing some more men. The rest tried to run but the monster saw them, he stepped forward and put his claw around a large skyscraper… and then… SNAP he closed his claw crushing the glass and plaster in the building right through the middle, the building fell and crushed the rest of the army men. The beast roared triumphantly waving his claw in the air. Katsuro watched in horror as the beast continued to walk straight into Tokyo. G centre: 3:00: All they could do was watch in terror as this new monster continued Ghidorahs work for him, smashing his way through Tokyo destroying everything in his path. The death toll had reached over five hundred within three minutes. “First Ghidorah now this,” said Mr Nakamura quite angrily. “Do you think they’re connected?” said a kaijuologist sitting at a desk nearby. “What do you mean?” said Mr Nakamura not even looking at him “Well they both popped up at nearly the same time, maybe they’re connected,” replied the scientist. “Maybe, maybe” said Mr Nakamura, contemplating this idea, but he couldn’t find any logical evidence for this hypothesis - it seemed to just be coincidence. And there was not another word, everyone was watching the big TV screen at the front of the room they saw the dinosaur like beast raid the city, killing people causing even more chaos then before. The army could do nothing to stop it; no one could, except for one thing. A remote island (100 miles off the shore of Tokyo) 3:15: Ghidorah stirred, he sensed the presence of the other monster. His heads curled out, he got up from his resting place, and roared almost like a warning to the other monster. His injures were not fully healed there was cuts but he had to fight, he was very territorial and this new monster seemed like a worthy challenger. He took to the skies with a massive flap of his wings his black scaly skin glinted in the sunlight. Ghidorah was heading toward Tokyo. North Tokyo: 3:30: Katsuro pulled himself ashore, his clothes were soaked and sticking to his skin small droplets of water was falling from his head and clothes. Since the monster was long gone he decided to head toward his car. When he got to the car park he saw that all the other cars were in good condition, except his, when he saw his car it was smashed and on its back. Smashed way beyond repair, the monster must of stepped on it. “DAMN IT ALL TO HELL, WHY THE S*** DID I HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO PARK IN THE F***** MIDDLE!” Katsuro shouted out and stamped his foot on the floor. He eventually realised his only option was to walk back to G centre. So he did. Katsuro saw the destruction, buildings smashed, the concrete roads cracked and smashed, cars smashed and thrown into buildings, the smell of rotting flesh filled the air, the sound of crying and car alarms were everywhere. Katsuro noticed that monster hadn’t just destroyed the city in a random line of smashing and wrecking, it looked almost like he had been walking through the city. As if heading toward something. Katsuro spotted a car that crashed into a lamppost; he saw it wasn’t damaged too badly just a dent in the bonnet. Katsuro ran toward and got in, he saw the key was still in the engine. “Come on please” Katsuro said turning the key. The car engine chugged and coughed for a second but then the engine turned on. “YES!” Katsuro shouted and reversed the car and started to drive along the broken road. While Katsuro was driving he spotted a mobile phone on the dashboard, he picked it up not believing his luck and punched in Mr Nakamura’s mobile phone number. “Hello, who is this?” said Mr Nakamura at G-centre “It’s Katsuro, and I’m in Tokyo” replied Katsuro. “I thought you were here! Anyway, are you following the other monster?” asked Mr Nakamura. “Yes, yes I am” said Katsuro then a thought popped into his head “Why don’t we name this new monster to save us some trouble?” “For God’s sake, is it really that time for that!?” Mr Nakamura demanded. Katsuro didn’t reply. Okay then, what do you have in mind?” asked Mr Nakamura. “Well… how about Kyourabi?” suggested Katsuro “Why that?” asked Mr Nakamura “It means crab dinosaur” replied Katsuro “Okay then Kyourabi it is then,” said Mr Nakamura with a sigh. Then suddenly Katsuro felt a gigantic gust of wind above him, he spinned the wheel to stay in control and looked up out the sun roof only to see the dark Ghidorah flying only about 20 feet above the car. Katsuro watched as it flew through the air almost following Kyourabi’s line of destruction. Then Katsuro realised. It’s heading for Kyourabi! Katsuro stamped his foot on the accelerator and the car jolted forward and then sped along the road bumping along the way. Near central Tokyo: 3:57: Kyourabi screeched and waved his claw in the air before continuing moving, he had short stubby legs so he couldn’t move very fast, but has webbed feet so he was an excellent swimmer. Kyourabi stopped, he sensed something, he turned around and scanned the air, and he spotted Ghidorah coming a mile off, he stood, and waited. It took five minutes before Ghidorah was close enough for Kyourabi to attack, as soon a he was close enough; Kyourabi grabbed a building and threw it at Ghidorah. Ghidorah easily dodged it and roared at Kyourabi before his middle golden head fired a bolt of golden lightning shaped energy at him, Kyourabi lifted his gigantic crab claw to cover his face and the beam seemed to have absolutely no effect on the claw. Ghidorah flew toward Kyourabi and to counter, Kyourabi rammed his claw into Ghidorahs side, it was so heavy and powerful that Ghidorah was thrown into a building with great force, the heavy rubble smashed on his head and belly leaving small red scratches, Ghidorah was weak, but he wouldn’t give up he stood up got his balance and started to head toward Kyourabi. Kyourabi also approached and smacked Ghidorahs far left head with his claw the black head roared out in pain and drooped for a second before rising again, there was swelling near his eye but still ghidorah had to fight. Katsuro’s car screeched to a stop next to the two giant monsters, they didn’t notice the car, Ghidorah was too occupied with dodging Kyourabi’s swinging claw and Kyourabi was too occupied with avoiding Ghidorah’s snapping heads. Katsuro got out the car and didn’t bother to shut the door for after only seconds of leaving his new car Kyourabi was thrown to the floor by Ghidorah, crushing Katsuro’s car in the process, narrowly missing Katsuro himself. Katsuro watched as the dark Ghidorah approached Kyourabi and tried to bite him while he was on the floor, the black swollen head managed to get a bite at Kyourabi’s side, blood trickled down as the sword like teeth sank further into the flesh. Kyourabi screeched out and then the middle golden head went for a bite but this time Kyourabi managed to grab it in his massive claw. The other black head also managed to bite down into Kyourabi’s other side also this ones teeth sank into the scaly orange flesh as well. Kyourabi ignored the pain and tightened his grip on the middle head the small sharp needles within the claw sank into Ghidorah’s scaly skin causing blood to trickle down his neck, the head screeched and tried to make Kyourabi release his grip by thrashing around but Kyourabi held tight. Then suddenly blue electricity ran through his body making him screech out in pain! Since Kyourabi was wet the electricity ran all through his body making him screech out again in pain. Katsuro knew that the two black heads were doing this he also knew that Kyourabi wouldn’t take much more of this, he watched in horror when suddenly Kyourabi lifted his clawed hand and dug his claws straight into Ghidorah’s black chest digging into the black flesh, Kyourabi then scraped it across the left side of chest leaving a deep gash. Ghidorah released his grip on Kyourabi and Kyourabi pushed Ghidorah back with tremendous force - he was sent flying backward and plummeted into a large skyscraper. The top of the building crashed down on the beast, Ghidorah roared out in pain. Then nothing. Katsuro had no idea who was winning and really he knew he shouldn’t care he was 10 metres away from gigantic monsters battling it out for dominance, he knew he should run, as fast and as far as he could but he couldn’t he had to know who was going to win, to settle his own conscious. Katsuro watched as Ghidorah flung himself out of the rubble smashing straight into Kyourabi, he was smashed to the ground and Ghidorah stood on Kyourabi’s claw, Kyourabi tried to pull his claw free but through all his struggling he couldn’t, Ghidorah’s foot had had it jammed into the ground. Then Ghidorah mouth’s started to glow. The black heads blue and the golden head with a golden glow. Kyourabi knew he was in danger and started scratching ghidorah left and right. Ghidorah bled and was in great pain but still his mouths were glowing and then suddenly a blast of blue and golden lightning shaped blots blasted straight into Kyourabi’s stomach! Dark red blood flew out and showered Ghidorah (and Katsuro) there was an extremely deep gash in Kyourabi’s chest and blood everywhere. Kyourabi was motionless. Ghidorah roared out triumphantly even though he was in extremely bad shape cuts everywhere gashes everywhere, and his far left head was still swollen. Ghidorah took to the sky and flew off to continue his rest. G-centre: 9:45 PM: There was a massive storm in Tokyo the rain was heavy and hitting off of the roof of G centre, thunder and lightning every minute but still everyone at floor fifty was watching and monitoring Kyourabi he was still lying there still unconscious even though the rain was hitting him all over he still didn’t awaken. He was alive. He only had a faint heart beat but they monitored it. Katsuro had got back only ten minutes ago and was in the conference room with Mr Nakamura. “So then please tell me what you think of this Kyourabi,” Mr Nakamura asked Katsuro “Well in my opinion Kyourabi is amphibian except it seems to prefer the water” explained Katsuro, Mr Nakamura sipped his glass of water. “Do you know why it came ashore?” Mr Nakamura asked “I think that Dark Ghidorah made it come ashore,” said Katsuro taking a gulp of hot coffee. “Okay, why on earth do you call it Dark Ghidorah?” asked Mr Nakamura “Well King Ghidorah’s body was completely gold and only this one’s middle head is golden the rest is black” explained Katsuro. The door was opened and a lady came in. “Mr Nakamura… Kyourabi it’s… well… gone!” “What do you mean it’s gone!?” Mr Nakamura asked. “Follow me” the lady said. Mr Nakamura and Katsuro followed the lady through the corridor to the observation room; no one said anything till they got there. They looked at the big screen at the front of the room they looked at it; there was destruction, fires and a gigantic hole in the concrete. But no Kyourabi. “What on earth happened!” said Mr Nakamura sounding surprised at the news. “Well there was an electrical problem all the computers went off because of interference from the storm for three minutes, and when they came back on he was gone” said the lady. “Can’t you find him anywhere in Tokyo?” asked Katsuro “Well no he’s just disappeared off the face of the earth” said the lady. “Like Godzilla” Katsuro whispered to himself. The next day, Tokyo city: 11am: The Sea was rough, even though it was blazing sunshine after the night’s storm, the waves were big, and getting bigger. No one was in the sea it was to dangerous the beaches were engulfed in sea and splashing up against the storm guard on the beach. The government had issued a severe flood warning and warnings of storms. 5pm: “ALL TOKYO CITIZENS PLEASE GET TO HIGH FLOORS, AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE ONLY TAKE ESSENTIASL BELONGLINGS AND LEAVE IN AN ORDERLY FASION” the voice boomed out over Tokyo city there were people running through the streets and going into Tokyo’s skyscrapers there were lots of people on the roofs of there houses waiting. 6pm: There was a gigantic wave on the horizon heading toward the city of Tokyo soon it would engulf the entire city in salty sea water. 5... 4…3…2…1 the water rushed over the city with incredible force the few cars trying to escape the wave were thrown around the city and smashed into the buildings. The water smashed through the windows of the cities buildings and after thirty minutes it was all over and the city was flooded with lots of sea water. G-Centre 7:30 PM: Workers were frantically working to try and decrease the damage caused by the flooding in there building. The first twenty five floors had been flooded, causing enormous damage to equipment and machinery. Katsuro and Mr Nakamura had realised a connection between Kyourabi’s disappearance and the sudden severe flooding of Tokyo. “So basically, what you’re trying to suggest, is that Kyourabi himself caused the tidal wave?” Mr Nakamura asked. “Yes, he disappeared into the water and caused interruptions with the normal tidal patterns of the water, causing great flooding” Katsuro replied. “Gee, it’s just been one disaster after another recently” Mr Nakamura said grimly. 8pm: A news helicopter flew over the city filming the devastation. “As you can see the city is in chaos, just after it was starting to patch up from the monster attack, another disaster struck. Let’s take a look down there shall we” said the reporter in the helicopter and the camera looked down. “Holy moley what on earth is that!” said the reporter pointing at something; the camera zoomed in on it, “Its some kind of a gigantic red fish!” shouted the reporter, “it’s swimming through Tokyo!” “Ladies and gentlemen at home not only is there water flooding the streets of Tokyo and beyond but now we have seen a giant red shark of some sort in the water!” said the reporter into the microphone. Then suddenly a booming roar boomed out the reporter heard it. “Pilot!” he said “let’s get out of here!” the reporter said a hint of terror in his voice. Then suddenly a blue bolt of lightning shaped electricity shot out and hit the helicopter - it exploded in a blast of flame, killing the three people inside and the connection was cut off. Dark Ghidorah roared out and flew out over Tokyo roaring and scanning the water. Ghidorah’s wounds had healed quickly and Ghidorah was in top condition for fighting, except this time it was on Kyourabi’s turf. Ghidorah stayed close to the water scanning every inch trying to get in a surprise attack, but the tables were turned when suddenly a massive red claw came out the water and grabbed the golden head and pulled ghidorah underwater head first followed by his body, wings and then legs, water splashed up like a fountain and then nothing. Under the water Kyourabi was scratching Ghidorah with his claws while still keeping a tight hold on the head, Ghidorah tried to roar but only bubbles came out rising to the surface then popping, Ghidorah thrashed out with his legs and they smacked Kyourabi squarely in the stomach. Kyourabi was sent somersaulting backward through the water before getting in control and shooting through the water toward Ghidorah. Kyourabi was way to fast and Ghidorah tried to propel himself up and out the way of Kyourabi, but Kyourabi managed to get his jaws around Ghidorah’s foot, blood came out and rose to the surface and Kyourabi pulled Ghidorah down even further. Ghidorah was struggling to breathe now and he knew he had to get out, and quickly. Kyourabi let go of Ghidorah’s foot but before Ghidorah had a chance to escape Kyourabi smacked Ghidorah in the chest with his crab claw, Ghidorah fell down even further and hit the concrete floor of Tokyo which was submerged underwater. Kyourabi was coming to finish Ghidorah off when he fired his beam, the electric blue and golden electricity was discharged all the way through the water heavily shocking Kyourabi and he fell to the floor. Ghidorah seized his chance and shot up and after a few seconds, flew out the water. Droplets of water fell off Ghidorah’s wings and splashed into the water. Ghidorah roared out and flapped his wings to stay airborne. Ghidorah waited, waited for his enemy to surface. Five minutes passed, Ghidorah roared out in victory over Kyourabi, assuming him to be dead, when suddenly a three clawed hand smashed into a nearby skyscraper and then a gigantic red claw and then a massive head, Kyourabi was climbing up the skyscraper. Kyourabi pulled himself halfway up the massive building before anyone noticed, he had changed. Now there were red veins running through his orange body, his arms were more muscular then before, his claw had grown bigger and now there were black spikes inside his claw! Down his back his fin had grown thicker and there were spikes all the way down his back and were coming out at all different angles. His teeth had become longer and sharper and his eyes were a dark green colour. When the water had conducted the electricity and was charged into Kyourabi’s body, it made him mutate into something more terrifying. Kyourabi roared, his roar was deeper more evil then before, he swung his deep red claw in the air as if threatening ghidorah. Ghidorah retaliated by lunging forward at Kyourabi, almost immediately Kyourabi swung his claw at Ghidorah, it hit with a loud SMACK! Ghidorah was thrown backward, he flapped his wings and managed to get his balance and he roared out in pain and flew back at Kyourabi. Kyourabi swung his claw again at Ghidorah except this time Ghidorah ducked under and kicked Kyourabi in the chest. Kyourabi’s claws were dragged down the building as he fell, smashing through the plaster walls and everything else inside. SPLASH! Kyourabi hit the water. Ghidorah turned his attention to a building, it caught his attention because there was about a hundred people on top, screaming and crying. Ghidorah’s middle golden head opened its mouth and shot out a golden lightning bolt, it hit the top of the building and it exploded in a blast of fire killing the people on top. The rest of the building collapsed into the water, the rubble floated on the surface before sinking down to the bottom. Ghidorah flew down to the surface, scanning the water for Kyourabi. Then suddenly Kyourabi’s claw shot out and got itself around Ghidorah’s middle, golden head, then, SNAP! Kyourabi closed his claw very sharply around the golden neck, blood shot out as the claws went through the neck and then there was the sound of bones breaking. Then the neck and head snapped off! And sunk down, down into the water. Ghidorah screeched out in pain and blood was coming out of the place were the neck had originally been, leaking into the water forming a puddle of red on top of the water surface, Ghidorah couldn’t take the pain and let himself fall into the water. Ghidorah sank, bubbles going out his mouth as he tried to screech out. Kyourabi came after him ready to finish him off his eyes glowing in the water. When Kyourabi came close enough Ghidorah’s remaining two heads started snapping madly at Kyourabi, every so often Ghidorah got a bite at him and blood came out, then another more blood, then another even more blood. Eventually Kyourabi had cuts all over his body and blood was all over him. He fell to the floor his eyes still open. Ghidorah approached, and stared at Kyourabi straight in the eye. He didn’t move. Ghidorah kept staring and then suddenly Kyourabi’s three-clawed hand shot out and went straight through Ghidorah chest! Ghidorah couldn’t breathe. Kyourabi smacked ghidorah in the head, once, twice, three times! Still Ghidorah didn’t move, his heads frozen upright with their mouths open. Kyourabi claws exited Ghidorah’s body and blood came out and rose to the surface. Ghidorah’s heads fell down and smacked into his chest he fell to the floor and slowly, his red eyes closed. He was dead. Kyourabi roared triumphantly and waved his claw triumphantly, and swam off out of Tokyo and into the sea, into the sunset. Epilogue G centre 8:15 Am (two months later): Katsuro had moved away from Tokyo, too many disasters during his stay, he had said. Mr Nakamura was still the boss of G centre and now Ghidorah was dead they were keeping a very close eye on Kyourabi who was sleeping deep down in the Bering Sea. “What on earth?” said one of the scientists looking at his screen, he called for Mr Nakamura. “Sir I’ve found something” a scientist to Mr Nakamura. “What is it?” asked Mr Nakamura, “Well it’s something, something big that keeps appearing and disappearing” continued the scientist. “Where is it?” asked Mr Nakamura looking at the screen. “On an island” said the scientist. “Get a team out there, right away” said Mr Nakamura and he left. On an island (120 miles away from Japan) 5pm: The helicopter hovered over the land and eventually landed on the beach, the door slid open and three people came out into the hot island sun. “Nice Island” said a blonde haired man “Yeah I know I for one would be happy to live here” said the girl. “Hey you guys come over here” shouted a man and the rest of the team ran over “Holy s***” said the man for he was looking at a gigantic footprint. “Where did it come…” the ladies sentence was cut of when they heard a tree falling, then a roar. A very distinguishable roar A roar everyone knew, The roar of Godzilla! The End Written by Harry keenan a.k.a ultimate Goji Special thanks to Joe keenan for help with editing.
