Well, might as well make my thoughts known here... This will be a tough one, as per usual in this tournament. Darktide's primary purpose here is to lay down aerial supression fire. Even with Glorve's stretchy body and jumping abilities, he's going to be hard pressed to catch Darktide in the air (why you gave something that can fly around at Mach 3 a 5 in speed is beyond me). He's going to mak eliberal use of that Hyper NOVA weapon to take Glorve down, even making use of the CEOC for the first time in the tournament if the occasion calls for it, to take out Glorve and/or Dirge. Gojulas will have a much tougher time of it though. Since Darktide's fighting from the air, well out of the range of the melee fighters, both Glorve and Dirge will probably target the Gojulas. Darktide's not stupid, and he and the Gojulas can communicate and plan accordingly. Those Giga Cannons and the Thuderstrike are going to come in supremely handy against Glorve, as the Thunderstrike stands a good chance of helping vaporize Glorve, and by splattering him with the Giga Cannons, he can not only temporarily knock Glorve ou of the fight, but also create more surface area for Darktie to vaporize with the Hyper NOVA. Dirge is another issue entirely. Against Darktide, that frost mist would be very handy...if Darktide engaged him in melee, which he probably won't (never mind the fact that the Plasma Cutter could cleave limbs from his body). Dirge looses the benefits of the Fear Aura and Wendigo Curse, since his foes are both mechs, and the Gojulas can match him in melee, and is only barely surpassed in terms of strength. Dirge's ability to simply phase through a lot of the attacks headed hsi way makes him hard to kill, but if he attempts to melee the Gojulas, he'll need to be tangible, leaving him vulnerable to the crushing power of the Gojulas' jaws. And Dirge's fighting style means he might get hit, at least once, with one of my team's more powerful weapons before he wades in. Glorve and Dirge will both put the hurt on the opposition, but they can be taken down. Especially since Darktide has the immense advantage of flight over two, essentially, grounded kaiju. Winners: Gojulas Giga and Darktide |

I wish people would realize that there are 4 battles....and not just two which seems to have more discussion than this one and the other. |

Dirge be tough, Dirge be brutal, Dirge be insanely formidable. But he's no giant snake, and unfortunately, that's his crucial weakness when facing Gojulas giga. That, and Darktide's ranged weaponry makes up for Glorve's liquid body... With much unreleased aggression, I vote. Winners: Darktide & Gojulas Giga |

Everything that needs to be said pretty much has by this point. Dirge is a beast, no doubt about it. But Giga is beastlier. It'd be one hell of a T&C battle, though, and I'd pay money to see it. Glorve is another matter. The uber-blob can soak up so much punishment it's ridiculous. However, both Giga and Darktide are capable of splattering Glorve across the scenery, which, as OR already mentioned, will make it considerably easier for Darktide to burn away Glorve's mass. Winners: Darktide and Gojulas Giga. |

As much as I want to vate against team robo this round...They take it. I mean, the reasons have already been stated. There's almost nothing Dirge or Glorve can do to Darktide, and Giga has enough firepower to speed along the inevitable. So, with some regret: Winners: Darktide and Gojulas Giga |
