It would be illogical for them not to release it on the X-Box 360 or PS3. |

After reading that article, I can see this Godzilla game being VERY popular, just because of what's involved with the Wii controles. There "story" for this one sounds interesting, and I hope they have some kinda videos like they did with STE. |

Ah, the game might be being made for the Wii "right now" but theres obviously a different way to play it since it'll be available for the DS and whatever the other one was. Obviously the DS is nothing like the 360, but I still see them releasing it after its been released on Wii. |

Holy Crap! This rocks! I just noticed this today. A new story mode, multiple attacks at once, improved graphics, FW Gigan, and online play!
(When Ebirah is revealed to be playable you will all feel my wrath on online play. [After I get it of course.] )

Yeah, it looks like a Wii exclusive, not counting portables of course. I say this because it's being built from the ground up for Wii, and redoing the controls is one thing, but the ccontrols, graphics engine physics engine, and online functionality make me think a non-Wii version is unlikely at best, and in the distant future if it comes at all. |

No sweat off my back, I've been wanting both a Wii and a DS and have no interest in the BS3 or X-Brick 360. xp That new control scheme sounds like it will be *awesome*. Finally, no more standing in place while firing your beam weapon! I hope it lets you port your own music into the game like the X-Brick version of DAMM and Excitetruck do. I got "The Best of Godzilla: 1954-1975" for X-Mas and it would be *so* awesome to kick ass to authentic Godzilla music. |

If they confirm Varan or King Caesar, I'm all in. And online play sounds good, but I think Xbox live has the best online system at this moment...maybe a 360 version isn't such a bad idea? |

So, I recently heard over on Kaijuphile that IGN has confirmed that not only will the game have a roster of over 16 monsters, but that the game will have two brand new, exclusive characters with the Toho seal of approval. *Man*, am I psyched for this game now. :D~ |

When you say two "new" monsters, do you mean that they are two completely NEW monsters that we've never seen before? That'll be sweet!!!!! Also, here's a new article from IGN, complete with new photos and a video: http://wii.ign.com/articles/766/766597p1.html Some info about the DS version: http://ds.ign.com/articles/766/766429p1.html If you notice, at the very bottom is a picture of Biollante. Could this popular kaiju be included in the Wii adaption? This game is going to be sweet!!!!! |

This has me worried though. In this production, gamers play as more than 16 different city-destroying titans of four different factions. http://wii.ign.com/articles/766/766597p1.html Does this mean that there will be less kaiju in this then GSTE? |

Yeah, i've been re-reading some articles, and for right now it sounds like this game is going to have less monsters from STE, and what is even worse is that there will be two "all new" monsters created by Atari which means they cut even more original Godzilla kaiju. I don't know guys, Atari just may have made a BIG booboo. I'd rather want to see 'original' kaiju than 'new' monsters created by Atari. Of course, it's too early to actually tell what will be including. We'll have to see I guess. |

Well, who knows. Perhaps they'll merge the Godzillas and Mechagodzillas into a single character, or provide "costumes" for them. If any Kaiju are going to be axed, I expect them to be the "varients". Also note they said "Over 16". So it could be *more* then the roster of STE. |

Hello all!!! I was just posting this here, as I put it up at the Atari board. Some speculation has started about things being a disappointment. Hopefully you all can see what I am trying to say. Quote: I am not commenting on roster size directly. But I will say this: To make the best use of the Wii hardware, we are creating all of our monsters from scratch. We are not re-using any models or animations. This means that we started the project with zero monsters, not 18. We cannot simply "bring over" older monsters. So the roster size we end up with will represent the total number of monsters we were able to create from scratch in the time allotted. We could have used our old models- but that would have meant incremental improvements to the gameplay. We all wanted to take a big leap in controls, feedback, and visual quality. So that's where we're headed. From Simon Strange over at Toho Kingdom. and this is my response as how I take the news... This is actually good news in a way... He used the word "incremental" which means "small". So to say the least, some of the people who said this kaiju needed this or that was going on the same foundation as before, but just small enhancements. Technically, if people complained about STE, then this game is going to add new ways of doing things and make it totally different. This game will stand apart from STE and D.A.M.M. We saw the video and I noticed how the close up attacks were. The punches and kicks were closer and more in your face than in STE. It also looked more natural. I also saw the dash attack of Kiryu and it looked sneaky in comparison to what happened in STE. Though if there are cuts, the most desired ones will be there most likely. So basically we are looking at a roster size that is more than what D.A.M.M. was right? D.A.M.M. had 11 characters that were playable, then it increased to 12 when it was released on the X-Box. Now if things be told, people that bought D.A.M.M. loved it and it was a sales success. There wasn't a huge cast of monsters there. People weren't all cranky but were happy to play this game. Same here, and yet in this Nintendo rebirth , there are more than 11 to 12 monsters, plus a new system of playing, along with 2 surprise characters. This says a WIN, WIN, WIN to me. So I am optimistic in all this. |

^ You should beable to put more characters in each game they release, even if they are starting from scratch. What's the deal with Atari and Godzilla games.....they seem like they never have enough time. Why don't they just delay the release date and work on adding more characters, because for one, I will be VERY upset if there was only a DAMM sized roster, including two new monsters.....I would rather them add in two original TOHO monsters instead of the two new ones created by Atari. For me I expect 20 Toho monsters, and the 2 new ones, with a total of 22 monsters. |

A thread on the Atari forums has been created that displays a petition for the new Godzilla game to be released on X-Box 360, if we get enough votes, we may get that version, because Atari watches their forums and likes to see the people's opinions. So here's the link, if you want the version, you'll have to register to vote, but it isn't a difficult process, I already voted in favor of it: http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showt...t=559942&page=3 |

The problem is though, they made this game specifically for the Wii, because of the controls. If they made a version for the 360, they would pretty much have to do it all over again, the controls. I'll sign in, but I don't think much will come from it. |

You are right though, it is good to keep our hope up though, it could happen. Perhaps an X-Box version could come out later than the Wii, it'll give them time to do what they need to do I guess. |

They need a petition for Godzilla Unleshed to be made for PS3. ...no, I don't have a PS3, and I do plan on buying a Wii when this game comes out, but still... I mean, it's being created for the PSP--why not the PS3 as well? |
