I have added a header section and a links section onto Kaiju Galaxy! Let me know what you think at this link so I can know if we want to keep this or throw it out. For me it is tie between Biollante and Battra and Mothra. I love all three of them.
 PS: MOthra Leo should probably go in the Mothra Trilogy forum under a poll hehe. |

*sigh* That poor mutant crustacean never gets the respect it deserves... I picked Destroyah. Hands down, the coolest monster of the Heisei era IMO. |

I don't like picking favorites, because it makes it seem like I like the others less (I always have this problem when asked to pick a favorite) but I voted for Godzilla. |

In all honesty, I loved all of the monsters from this era. It is actually my favorite set of Godzilla movies. I just wish there were more. But in the end, I had to vote for the monster that made it all possible. I had to vote for Godzilla. He simply can't be beat. But SpaceGodzilla is another one of my favorites. And actually, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II is probably my favorite Godzilla movie by far. But anyways, Godzilla hands down is the best. |

Obviously Godzilla... After that, I would say Rodan. I loved is short scenes in MGII, and the battle with Godzilla on the island was probably my favorite Heisei battle. |

Another thing that i had forgot to mention on why I like this series so much is the effects. Actually this set of Godzilla movies really does a good job with the rubber suit and special effects. I know a couple of my friends who look down on Godzilla movies because of the rubber suit and "bad effects" but these Godzilla movies (in my opinion) are some of the best looking monster movies that I have seen. Everything is so real because it isn't CGI or anything of the like. What makes it real is that even though the monsters may be rubber suits or the tanks may be toys, the realism is that when you see the tank or you see the monster, you are actually looking at something and not a bunch of polygons created on some computer. I just think this series of Godzilla movies does a real good job with their effects and really making the monsters come to life. |

LOL I know! I think the idea of Mecha-King Ghidorah was an awesome one, I just wish they utilized it better in the movie. |

I loved Godzilla in the HEISEIera nearly as much as I loved him in the SHOWAera. Of all the monsters that appeared he was probably my favorite. Godzilla Battra (Great concept... awesome look... especially the nasty looking larva form... probably my most favorite monster besides Godzilla). Mothra (Though way too colorful and I felt she looked better in the SHOWAera). Biollante (I just thought this creature was damn interesting. Probably would have gotten my first vote, if it wasn't for that Flower form) I disliked a lot of the others (Ghidorah being made by Time travelers out of sucky little muppets - and MechaGodzilla not being made by aliens). Though Space Godzilla was interesting enough and should probably be on the above list. Grd7 |

The Heisei is by far my fav series. I liked all of the monsters but... gotta vote for Des, hands down. He was all around bada** A close Second would be Biollante. She was pretty cool. |

Gotta go with Biollante here. I love Spacegodzilla, and Battra and Destroyer were both good (though I do find Destroyer a bit overrated, honestly), and really all of the Heisei kaiju including the Mothra trilogy. But Biollante was by far the most original and best portrayed of the bunch in my opinion. Not to mention she is my favorite kaiju of all time. |
