Yeah, it was a cool trick that Mothra used to her advantage.

I said Kiryu... but really it's a mix. Mothra, Kiryu, Baragon, Godzilla, and Gigan. I was glad to see Rodan, Anguirus, King Caesar, Gigan, Ebirah, Baragon, Kamacarus, and even Hedorah and Kumonga again... it was nice to see some old faces. Too bad Varan wasn't in there... or Titanosaurus... Oh well

Goji will always be my favorite from any era so I will simply vote for the runners up IMO. For me it's a toss up between Tokyo SOS Mothra and Chainsaw Gigan. |

I'm too bias. I went with Godzilla. Specifically, Godzilla 2000 and GMK were my favorites. But Monster X looked about as good as he ever has in this series. A lot of the mosnters from Godzilla Final Wars looked really good. Especially Monster X and Gigan. Those two really got a cool upgrade and I enjoyed seeing them. And Mothra was cool though I think they should have done more with Mothra and the fairies. The song is really pretty and Mothra is one of the more beautiful creatures to look at. Not that Godzilla is ugly or anything

I like Kiryu because I thought it was interesting how he was created by using the skeleton of the 1954 Godzilla. He really kicked Godzilla's butt in Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla. |

While I love Anguirus and the G2K suit is one of my favorites, I had to give it to Megaguirus. She was the only original monster of the series that really kicked buttocks without looking doofy. |

Yeah Megaguirus was awesome, and original too.
I did like Rodan's new design as well.

Megaguires. Not the Big-G's mightiest opponent, but her sneak attacks on Godzilla gave him a run for his money, and forced the Monster King to be a bit more creative in combating the Queen of the Meganula. |

Well. My vote is an obvious one Manda. The way Manda swam at that speed and fought. Really gave you the impression Manda had a chance. The horns and barbels were back, looking more like a Japanese Dragon again. Even Manda's (I hate to say this) death was cool. Though that was a tough question. As Mech74 said. Godzilla goes without saying. He is always one of my favorites. Rollerball Anguirus with his cool moves. Supersonic Rodan with his incredible flying. Ebriah on dry land and causing havoc. Mothra moving the way she should. I was most disappointed in Gigan and Kumonga/Spiga. I thought Gigan looked too gunked up, looking better with his original appearence and Kumonga/Spiga scene was kind ruined when he flung that perfect web like he just tossed it out of Batman's utility belt (Though Godzilla's flingshot with him was great). I would have liked to have seen Gorosaurus. That's mine. Grd7 P.S. Great poll |

yeah... you Mothra... me Manda... Both tend to be a given. I will be honest though if I had to choose a second favorite Kaiju. Anguirus almost took it. He survived. He looked That ramapage of his was probably one of the best I have ever seen. Great suit. Awesome minutiures. Total mayhem. Seemed like Ebriah was well on his way to that as well. Both Rodan and Mothra's moves were damn fine. It really disturbed me to see Mothra die. But in her cause she can be reborn. It was a nice reminder of the SHOWAdays Grd7 |

Yeah...Toho can die for killing Mothra yet again...Then again they kinda gave her that phoenix attribute....and of course that scene in the credits. So her death is completely debatable. |

Wasn't it G2K who said there is footage of Mothra flying back to Infant Island or whatever it is called now. That was intended for the end? Yeah Mothra definitely has the pheonix thing going on. In the original SHOWAera I always thought it was the same Mothra's and that the one larva just was not at a stage to transform to Moth form. Which makes me believe that there are probably always two in the SHOWAera. It is only the later stuff the establishes the heritage thing as we know (in that fashion) it now. I never saw either Mothra Larva from the SHOWAera as being weaker than the other. There just were two. Actually. I just assumed it was kinda like Rodan. The two would become a mated pair (of a sort). Course I then again really don't see much of a common link between the Manda's from earlier films in the SHOWAera as they look so much different except for shape and the one from the Millennium Series also only basically has the shape. But it has body barbels and a mirco-barbels on it's chin rather than on the snout and it's Back spines are different along with the tail configuration (with the eel like flap running down the sides as well). Beautiful design nevertheless. Grd7 |

That Mothra scene was a deleted scene. It is not cannon. However, talking to Keith, the deleted scene of Godzilla beaming King Caesar, Rodan, and Angruirus is counted as cannon. |

Well...I personally don't believe it to be a deleted scene. Why do you think they would have given Mothra that phoenix adaptation and then displayed her in the end as being alive and well? If that isn't the case, then explain to me why Toho has their heads up their asses again? No..I'm not buying the fact that Mothra is getting jipped out of something else YET again. Well Manda got shattered EM... I am no happier than you are... LOL Grd7 Drops Ghirdorah on TOHO!! Take that you bastards! LOL All silliness aside. I think it still harkened back to the SHOWAera strongly. Even if the human elements came off as a Matrix/SuperNinja/DragonballZ rip. It was still good fun. It isn't like they are all permanently dead. Just a matter of them restarting the Godzilla universe... again... (Kinda like DCU does... every 10 yrs... 3yrs?... 2? lol) They'll be back. Cya Grd7 |
