    Name: Rygama

    Kaiju Type: Main Character
Story Appearances: Rygama series. Uh.... the entire series.

    ~Stats~

    Height: 84 meters
    Length: 156 meters
    Weight: 95,440 tons
    Wingspan: 312 meters
    Maximum Flight Speed: Mach 4.8

    Powers/Abilities:

Flight - Rygama's insect-like wings allow her to fly at a top speed of roughly mach 4.8, with a considerable degree of maneuverability.

Amphibious - Rygama, being a mosasaur mutation, is more at home underwater than on land. Underwater her speed and grace are magnified considerably. Gills allow her to remain underwater indefinitely.

Burrowing - Though not as quick as other burrowers like Megalon or Baragon, Rygama is able to rapidly move underground, rendering her a full out quadraphibian. "Rapidly" is relative to other burrowing animals, of course, as her landspeed is roughly halved underground.

Melee Weapons - Rygama is a walking weapon. Semi-retractable claws and fierce, toothy jaws are her primary impliments of pain, while her jagged, spiked exoskeleton ensures that dealing with her up close is a risky experience.

Rygama's jaws are able to unhinge like those of a snake, only to slam together with tremendous force. In addition to increasing her bite radius, this allows Rygama to swallow some smaller enemies whole. She was once witnessed to completely gulp down a fifteen-meter-high quadrapedal alien beast known as Kron, with little trouble.
It's worth noting that as a precaution in case vomiting is needed, Rygama's esophogus is lined with the same mucus coating as her stomach, protecting it from acid damage.

Super-Strength - Rygama IS muscle. Her dense musculature allows her to lift up to four times her own weight under optimal conditions!

Cerebral Entity - Rygama is the result of a fluid organism bonding with mosasaur tissue. As such, her inner workings differ from those of a human. For starters, Rygama has no brain per se, so much as an entire network of neural tissue that was once the entity's body. Rygama, as such, has absolute control over her bodily functions, allowing her to adjust her heart rate, metabolism, internal temperature and the like as needed.
Since the entity alters her body through controlled mutation, it goes without saying that radiation poisoning has no effect on her.

More importantly, Rygama's body is loaded with backup mechanisms, allowing her to continue to function, even after having vital organs disabled. This Vorheese-esque quality is augmented by natural regeneration, allowing her to slowly repair damage to her body. Cracks and fractures in her armor will heal in seconds, though larger wounds take longer, depending on their severity. It will take Rygama at least two hours to regenerate a lost arm, though consumption of organic material speeds this process up by fifty percent.

Finally, it's worth noting that Rygama's "eyes" are simply protective panels, hiding globs of neural tissue, no different from the Entity's body prior to constructing its body. As such, Rygama registers her environmnt rather oddly. She's capable of detecting various forms of energy. Namely, light, heat, sound and electrical impulses. Naturally, this offers her various sensory abilities which render hiding from her exceedingly difficult.
Seeing as how Rygama hears with her eyes, it goes without saying that she lacks ears.

Thermal Aura - Rygama's trump card is her ability to heat up her body by emitting extreme amounts of thermal radiation. The heat generated by her body is capable of radiating outwards to some distance, igniting nearby flammable materials. In fact, a few seconds of exposure from this weapon is capable of converting rock into lava!
Of course, this weapon requires quite a bit of energy expendeture, so she's hesitant to use it unless it would offer a considerable advantage.

Though it goes without saying, this affords Rygama a considerable resistance to extreme heat.

    Strengths/Weaknesses:

Naturally, Rygama excells in melee. A superb damage soak, a fairly tough body and responsive reflexes compliment her heavy offense nicely. Her skull and carapace are the toughest points on her body, where the armor and bone have joined together. While initially appearing somewhat slow and lumbering, Rygama is capable of shockingly quick bursts of speed. Her powerful muscles afford her considerably high jumps and her sheer aggression has a way of overriding pain for her. When engaged in melee, Rygama becomes a merciless, vicious, tenacious fighter and is quite capable of taking as much as she can dish out.
Rygama's various movement options and body-adjustment mechanisms make her fairly versatile in terms of environment and type of opponent she can affect.

Rygama's principle weakness is her total lack of ranged weapons. She's a pure melee fighter and simply cannot operate any other way. Though she does have some defenses against ranged weapons, she is ultimately at a disadvantage against a competent ranged fighter unless she can rapidly close the distance.

In addition, Rygama has a potent weakness to toxins that cause swelling. A sufficient amount of hemotoxin can cause her body to split apart, similar to the process that a rattlesnake bite may result in, magnified tenfold.

    Personality Description:

Rygama is a fully sentient creature, despite her appearance. Though she frequently causes trouble seeking food, Rygama is borderline docile as far as giant monsters go. She's a very curious creature, and won't hesitate to cautiously investigate an oddity, such as another monster. She's easily provoked, however, and won't pass up a challenge. Her natural aggression and ferocity can override her reason, sometimes.
Rygama needs food, as well, and will often look to other giant monsters to satiate her hunger. When large animals aren't available, she'll turn to trees and other foliage, though if forced to do this, she'll quickly pounce on an opportunity to feast on fresh meat.
Rygama, while far from cuddly, makes some effort to avoid directly harming humans, more out of respect for a late human friend of hers than anything. She won't directly pursue human prey and will occasionally try to draw an enemy out of city bounds. Still, as a whole, Rygama is less than occupied with the welfare of humans and will hardly make a fuss if she steps on a few.
Rygama is a notably playful creature. She's been observed to taunt prey animals before slaying them, and exhibits a similarly snarky attitude in battle. She's been known to keep out of reach of opponents in the air, in underwater or even underground, only to randomly pop up, deliver a light smack or punch, then hop out of reach again.

    Fighting Style:

Rygama, naturally, favors a brutal, straightforward brawl, where she executes a mixture of animal-like mauling and semi-human combat maneuvers. Rygama is brutal, swift and merciless in close combat, often leaving enemies in shreds. While her favored weapons are her claws and teeth, she'll gladly slam her spiked carapace into an enemy's body or repeatedly smash them into the ground. She takes considerable advantage of her strength.
At a distance, Rygama is at a disadvantage, having no ranged weapons. When forced into ranged combat, she may attempt to burrow towards her enemy, hiding herself from opposing fire. Of course, she may very well simply charge right at an enemy.
One of Rygama's most distinct strategies is her lava pit, in which she burrows beneath her enemy, heating up her tissue to the point where the rock around her liquifies, creating a pit of lava into which she can easily drag her enemy. This has been adopted as her "signature move".
It's worth noting that Rygama is intelligent and is not unwilling to alter her strategy for different opponents.

    Origin/History:

Rygama is the result of a union between two species. The former is the rygalisaurus, a species of armor-plated mosasaur. The latter is a form of "skyfish", native to our upper atmosphere.
Only through a brief misunderstanding was one of the creatures brought to our world, carried in the stomach of another high-altitude creature which mistook a shuttle re-entering the atmosphere for a potential perch. The resulting fiery crash seemingly killed the predator, allowing the fluid entity to escape, only to be captured again by a gathered crowd.
The creature was taken to the lab of Simon Duskan, a high ranking college professor who happened to have a history with one of the heads of the squad sent to collect the larger creature's corpse. Simon was given the responsibility of studying the creature, and managed to stay up late enough in his studies of the being to learn that it was capable of heating up its body. Though he managed to calm it down somewhat, sleep soon overtook him, leaving the creature alone in the night.
A shame, as had Simon stayed awake, he might've learned of another of the creature's odd powers. The fluid creature began searching the desktop for organic material. Not just any would do. Only that which matched a certain genetic pattern would do. This was a defense mechanism that allowed the being to build a body around itself with dead tissue. Its ecosystem was an ancient one, and so only similarly ancient tissue would do. It found this in the form of a rygalisaurus skull that Simon kept atop his desk for luck. This was a notable specimen, as it was a female which had been discovered with the skull of a smaller male lodged in its throat. It was also perfect.
The entity bonded with the tissue, forming a body from it overnight and slinking off into the building.

For days on, it fed on whatever it could find, haunting the campus and making an enemy of the custodian, before finally its size grew too great and it left to search for new prey.
Simon himself provided an excellent chase, as the creature deemed him worthy as food. Though confused and in an alien environment, the creature quickly learned the ropes and gave chase to Simon's car, which carried it right into Sydney's borders. And unfortunately for it, the predator that it had ridden down to Earth had recovered and drawn military attention. The smaller monster was still the target of aggression and found itself tearing through the city for its life, continuously pummeled by artillery. Hideously maimed, it collapsed into the bay, where it found safety.
For days more it remained in the ocean, modifying its body to suit its needs. Finally, its growth stopped, leaving the creature an official giant monster. Now that it was placed in a stable environment, the creature began to wonder. Where was it? What were all these new creatures? They couldn't fly, and now neither could it. Curiosity soon got the better of it and in the dead of night, it crawled ashore in a small town and made its first true human contact. A young girl was among the few who noticed its presence, and found herself in the beast's grasp as it connected its nervous system with hers and "spoke". Erica, the girl, discovered what the creature was, to some extent and helped it become acquainted with the "lower world". Erica even gave the creature a name, dubbing her "Luna". Indeed, the creature did recognize that it was apparently female now.
Though defense forces quickly forced Luna to retreat back to the depths, she returned a few nights later to greet Erica in a more secluded location. For days on, this went, before a familiar force stepped into the ring.
Luna crawled ashore one night to find Erica missing. Eventually she gained the courage to check the town, only to find it in ruins, acid-like burns dotting the landscape. Erica's house was barely recognizable.
And the shaggy predator, dubbed "Wendigo" by the Australian press, stood among the carnage, slurping up the digested remains of the townsfolk.
Luna furiously lashed out, attacking Wendigo with everything she had, but was ultimately no match for the larger, stronger and more agile Wendigo.

As Wendigo made a beeline for Sydney, Luna lay dying on the seafloor, having retreated to nurse her wounds. The biomorphic beast wouldn't die, however. Furiously casting the digestive enzymes from her shell, she rebuilt her body, forming something more to her needs. Though she nearly stripped the coastline of life in the search for energy and biomass, her goal was met.

Wendigo found itself facing a renewed Luna, sporting wings and completely remodeled weaponry. The press knew nothing of Luna's relationship with humanity, and dubbed her a new name. "Luna" was lost to the ages, replaced by the monster therein known as Rygama.

A difficult battle followed, but Rygama seized the advantage by tossing Wendigo from the cover of the city and engaging it on her terms. The battle carried back into the sea, where Rygama succeeded in gaining a hold on Wendigo's skull while it held her waist in one of its crushing claws. Both monsters squeezed with all their might - And Wendigo's headless corpse toppled back into the sea, its symbiotic tongue flailing above the surface in the monster's death throes.

Rygama retreated to the sea, unsure of where to go next.
Eventually her journey took her to Japan, where she encountered another group of monsters and played an important, if unwitting hand in purging the alien soldier Klora of a horrid mutagenic virus, only to spread the plague throughout Japan's ecosystem, giving rise to a horde of new monsters.
Rygama faced various other creatures, from mutant spiders to living industry amalgams, before her kind were gathered and placed on a remote island in the South Pacific, where an entire ecosystem of mutant dinosaurs was discovered. Rygama found herself in the company of fellow giants, albeit with mixed reactions.
For a time, Rygama remained in the island's vicinity before boredom and curiosity carried her back into the land of man.
Unfortunately, humanity was prepared for her return, with the creation of a prototype mecha, codenamed "The Harpy".
Only time will tell if Rygama will overcome the latest beast to stand in her way, of if the Harpy will indeed prove to be the monster-slayer it was designed to be.

    Sample Battle Scene:

The calm of Birth Island was shattered by a terrifying crash. A pillar of water rose hundreds of feet into the air, casting a massive shape from its depths.
Bathed in a blue light, Rygama was thrown from her oceanic sanctuary with unspeakable force. Her great mass provided little protection as she was thrown from the sea and cast not less than a mile inland, stopping only as her bulk slammed into a towering cliffside, boring deep into it. Her spines momentarily pinned her into the rock before her weight coupled with the (quite literally) earth-shattering impact drug her down back to earth and onto her stomach.
Rygama rose to all fours and roared to the sea. She had run afoul of another creature in her travels and found herself facing a difficult battle. Wasting no time, she marched back to the beach and quickly ducked back into the waters.
    A moment passed.
And another splash tore through the water's calm, casting another shape from its depths.
Godzilla(Final Wars) slammed into the very same cliffside, a notch to the right of Rygama's imprint and had a similar reaction, collapsing onto his stomach. With a hiss of a roar, Rygama rose from the waters and stormed ashore, coming to a stop two body lengths ahead of Godzilla as he rose. The atomic titan glared daggers at his chitinous opponent. He brought his arms up, pounded his chest with the left, then the right, then pounded both fists together.
Rygama rose to her hind legs and brought her right arm forward, extending her claws to their full length. With a roar, she pounded her broad chest with her left arm and beckoned with her newly enlarged talons in a "bring it" fashion.
Godzilla took her reaction and broke into a forward charge. Rygama did so as well. Two sets of legs coiled and two hulking forms left the ground, flying right at one another.
Godzilla's extended claws raked into Rygama's oddly thin waist, while her brutish talons sliced deep into his throat and skull as they completed their charge and skidded to a halt, now having switched positions.
Rygama spun around, ignoring the large, purple wound in her side. Godzilla turned to face Rygama as well, offering only a disgruntled hiss in acknowledgement of the deep wounds in his face and neck which would have felled lesser beasts.
Rygama rushed forward, extending her other set of claws. Godzilla merely braced himself as the omnipedal mutant tackled him. The dinosaur fell onto his back as Rygama sprawled onto his chest and began raking at his throat. Though she was a head shorter than him, her low center of gravity proved quite the advantage. Her claws ripped deep into his side, his chest and his throat. Blood began collecting in his mouth as her assault failed to relent. Finally, with a loud roar, Godzilla heaved his weight to the side, rolling over and pinning Rygama under his own bulk. Rygama screamed in outrage, struggling to free herself, but this beast's strength was as great as her own! Godzilla held her. His eyes burned into Rygama's chitinous lenses and through his bestial scowl, she felt an air of smugness, knowing full well what was coming, before his fins even assumed their electric blue aura.
Rygama's scream was drowned out as the blue flash overwhelmed her entire world, pounding into her skull, shattering chitin and forcing her jaw out of place as it flooded down her throat and vaporized her breakfast.
Godzilla's very body was thrown back off of Rygama's as his blast propelled him off his belly and into a standing position. He paused for a moment to inspect his handiwork.
Rygama lie on her back, mouth agape. Steam hissed up from her razored jaws. The remnants of the squid she had eaten earlier escaped her interior in a loud, throaty belch. Both of her eye panels were gone, exposing the luminescent fluid inside. Fractures were visible in her external skull and purple vapor hissed up from the cauterized veins that had been exposed. And yet she rose, belching a second time and glaring with empty sockets at her enemy. Without a second warning, she lowered her head, dropped down to all fours and charged.
Godzilla attempted to brace himself, but Rygama was quicker. Her lowered head slammed into his crotch, ducking beneath it and allowing her neck and upper back to slip below, scooping him up as she darted down between is legs and heaved her weight upward.
Godzilla bellowed as his bulk was hefted up like nothing and sent sprawling forward as Rygama's spiked shell presented itself below him.
Rygama braced herself as Godzilla landed on her back, imbedding all twenty four of her back spines into his front half. Blood poured from the monster king's mouth as his innards were mangled by the bed-of-nails-style maneuver.
Cackling with glee, Rygama reared upright, her spines momentarily keeping Godzilla in place as she toppled backwards, forcing Godzilla into the dirt. He let out a loud roar of pain as Rygama's deceptive mass forced her spiny carapace further into his belly. Blood poured from his maw.
Rygama pried herself out of Godzilla's abdomen and climbed to her feet, turning to gaze at her downed opponent. Godzilla wasted no time in getting up. Rygama aimed a kick at his shin, but the monster king was prepared this time. He spun around, dodging the blow and swinging his beefy tail right into her chest with all his might. Rygama wasn't just knocked down, she was sent FLYING. Not less than ten seconds and thirty stories back later, Rygama slammed into the dirt, obscured by a cloud of dust and rock. Godzilla aimed a blast at her while she was down, further obscuring her bulk in the ensuing explosion. A geyser of purple blood launched into the sky, outlining the blast. Rygama's agonized wail marked that the beam had struck.
Godzilla's smugness was short-lived, however, as Rygama came tearing out of the blast, charging on her hind legs and trampling knee-high trees in her wake. Though apparently awkward, she moved with shocking speed and closed the distance rapidly. Before Godzilla could react, Rygama jumped, wings beating rapidly, planting her heavy clawed right foot into his knee, then her left into his thigh, then pushed up off of his body and placed another right kick into his waist. In a mindblowing display, Rygama literally ran up Godzilla's body, kicking at it all the while. Left to the belly, right to the sternum, left to the collarbone, right to the throat, left to the chin, right to the cranium! This whole process took approximately three seconds before she delivered the final kick to his face, knocking his head back at a grotesque angle and pushing away from his bulk. Her wings kept her aloft as she tucked her legs close and literally backflipped off of Godzilla's head, coming to a landing a body's length away as the hulking sauroid collapsed onto his back, minus several teeth.
Rygama wasted no time and leaped at the fallen beast, splaying her body outwards and bringing her elbow forward in a piledriver maneuver - and was promptly greeted by a hefty foot to the pelvis.
Rygama screeched and landed on her side several hundred feet away from the rising Godzilla. Her crotch was fractured, oozing purple goo.
Godzilla roared in triumph as he watched Rygama fall. His fins lit up in an ominous display, reflecting in her newly regenerated eye panels a second before the hellish blue blast struck her chest, pushing her across the ground. Dust and sparks flew as the quadraphibian terror was dragged across the landscape, through trees, boulders and earth, coming to a stop nearly a mile back before the beam dissipated.

Rygama wailed in pain, but rose to all fours, glaring daggers at Godzilla. A second blast was her reward, this one nailing her in the face, spilling renewed blood and knocking her onto her back.
Godzilla roared triumphantly as Rygama fell. His triumph turned to caution, however, as Rygama began rapidly ripping at the ground, kicking up dirt wantonly. Godzilla braced to react as her tail slipped into the newly formed crater and out of sight. He stood and waited. Rygama was gone. He wasn't fooled, however. A sudden bulge in the terrain betrayed her presence and Godzilla opened fire. A loud shriek was his reward as chitinous fragments shot into the air among the debris. Rygama's shell became visible in the earth.

A loud, irritating screech interrupted the dueling titans. A series of explosions ripped through the landscape, giving rise to shiny, pointy objects.
A bulky blue form became visible and lowered itself between the two beasts.
Rygama climbed out from her failed safety tunnel and gazed at the towering hulk, twice her height and at least three times as wide.
Spacegodzilla mentally sneered at the two uncivilized behemoths before him. The largest of the two only came up to the girl thingy-esque indentation in his abdomen. The green one was even smaller! Weaklings, the lot of them! He would have to show them his awsome might. With another grating screech, his shoulder crystals lit up and he vomited forth a spinning, admittedly pretty spiral of crimson energy, blasting Godzilla right in the chest. Thankfully, the wounds from Rygama's shell had already healed, and thus only a few outer scales were scraped off.
Godzilla returned the favor with a blast of his own. Spacegodzilla erected his shield, forcing the beam to slam into it - and promptly shove the mass of hardlight particles right into his own face. Spacegodzilla wailed as own shield was effectively rammed down his throat, for the beam caught him in the jaw.
Spacegodzilla gagged and coughed. This dirty behemoth was a dirty fighter, apparently! He would deal with the weakling later. He would take out the weakest of the weaklings present and make them see how weak they were! ... WEAK!
Spacegodzilla spun and fired another corona beam in Rygama's direction. Rygama stood confused as the fiery blast slammed into her plastron once, twice and a third time, yet only succeeded in creating sparks. Was this a weapon? Or was the behemoth simply trying to polish her armor? That was quite nice of him, actually.

Spacegodzilla grunted in irritation. If his mighty corona beam wouldn't vanquish the vile sleeper, then he would simply rely on other methods. He raised his arms and uprooted not less than a dozen crystaline spires before flinging them all at Rygama.
Rygama, however, saw this coming a mile ahead and had she felt like it, could've had her afternoon tea break before bothering to react. With a great leap, she was in the air, supported by her wings. Arms outstretched, she seized a crystal in each hand. The hulking abberation then did a frontflip and landed before Spacegodzilla's face, looming over him in mid-air. Before the blue borax behemoth could react, Rygama jammed both crystals into his eyes, shredding them as the two spires ripped into his braincase.
Spacegodzilla screeched as Rygama dropped down to the ground and delivered a clawed punch to Spacegodzilla's genitals. Indeed, her light/sound/heat/electricity sensing eyes allowed her to determine exactly where Spacegodzilla's manhood was located.
Spacegodzilla dropped to his knees, wailing in agony.

Godzilla, however, slapped his knee and bellowed an amused cry as his wannabe classy brother was felled so thoroughly.
Spacegodzilla squeaked a final time as Rygama brought her foot back and literally punted the much larger creature's chest, picking him up and sending him flying. Godzilla seized the opening and rushed at the flying monster, spinning around and slamming his tail into the crystaline spines of his cosmic clone. The force hefted the monster up and sent him flying right back at Rygama, who in turn spun around and slammed both arms into the mutant's side, shattering one of his shoulder crystals in the process and flinging him back at Godzilla, who spun around again and slammed his tail back into his demented brother and knocked him right back to Rygama. Five passes later, Spacegodzilla's broken body was minus his other crystal.

With one final punt, Rygama sent Spacegodzilla in Godzilla's direction, only for the blue behemoth to be greeted by a radioactive burst, right in the afformentioned womanly portion of his abdomen. The force of the blast sent him right back into the air, over Rygama's head and into the sky. The monster let out a furious screech before the energy overload overcame him and Spacegodzilla exploded in the middle of the sky, casting a fiery umbra over Birth Island and raining crystal shards and fragments of flesh.

Rygama stomped over to where Godzilla stood, admiring his work. She turned to face the nuclear saurian, a debate raging in her mind. Godzilla turned and glared at the much shorter creature, contemplating how to act next. For a moment, the two stood facing one another, neither acting. Then, slowly, Godzilla extended his hand. Rygama looked at it for a moment before recognizing the gesture. She extended her own arm, pulling her claws back to a neutral position and taking Godzilla's hand in her palm. There on Birth Island, the Atomic Age's greatest hero and the Quadphibian Terror shook hands. When they were done, both turned and parted ways, venturing back into their respective domains of the ocean, Godzilla taking to the northern Japanese region while Rygama set course for the Australian reefs. Each of them understood that they had made a valuable ally this day.

Ah Rygama, an old favorite. Ok, no actual judging yet, but I have a little comment on format: please organize the powers and abilities into easier to read categorized chunks, marked by bolded/underlined/italicized descriptors before each separate ability.

EDIT: Ooops, I lied. There is one very minor thing I will have to ask you to fix. The maximum wingspan is 250 meters, and Rygama's is a smidge too large. Sorry about that.

    Queen of the sea
    Name: Die Spinne

    Kaiju Type: Comic Relief

Story Appearances: Rygama series - episode 3

    ~Stats~

    Height: 60 meters
    Length: 134 meters
    Weight: 81,040 tons

    Powers/Abilities:

Acrobatics - Die Spinne is a an accomplished acrobat, able to jump ludcrous heights, and perform complex aerial maneuvers. Die Spinne is even able to websling ala Spiderman, provided the proper anchor points are provided.

Brawling - Die Spinne is a shockingly strong, brutal creature on the battlefeild. His legs are his primary weapons, backed up by fierce, toothy jaws. It should be noted that unlike normal spiders, Die Spinne's legs are fueled by muscle, as opposed ot Hydraulics.

Venom - Die Spinne's venomous saliva is less of a toxin than a tissue degenerator. Due to his more direct method of consuming prey, Die Spinne's drool is instead used to break down unneeded webbing. This renders it more or less one of the most powerful corrosives known to man or monster.

Webbing - Die Spinne is able to spray his webbing in strands and use it as a projectile. This webbing, in addition to being virtually indestructible, is designed to melt into whatever it touches, effectively merging with it. A creature caught in it will find that in order to rip it out, it must rip its own flesh. The catch to this weapon is that Die Spinne himself is not immune to its effects and is more than capable of getting caught in his own webbing.
A second variety of webbing lacks the adhesive properties.
Die Spinne is even able to alter the form of webbing while shooting it, allowing him to project a sticky gob mounted on a non-adhesive stream.

Stun Web - Die Spinne's ranged weapon of choice is what more or less amounts to a stream of ionized silk. This is a solid projectile with immense amounts of energy radiating through it. Different intensity levels can be used to try and stun small prey, while more intense blasts can even kill it, or numb and paralyze parts of other monsters. This is effectively a taser weapon on a giant monster scale, though intense enough strands can indeed cause tissue burns and have even been witnessed to burn right through lesser appendages after enough exposure.

Die Spinne is able to maintain the ionization for as long as the silk remains in contact with his body, though it will dissipate after a minute or so once it leaves his body. This means that the spider has to work to form a full web of ionized silk, though it its indeed possible.

    Strengths/Weaknesses:

Die Spinne excells at brawling. A great blend of speed, dexterity and strength allows him to hold his own up close with the best of them. His legs and underside are covered in particularly hard armor, allowing him to support himself and leap to and fro without fear of injuring himself.

Unfortunately, his carapace is a different story. The armor is relatively thin in order to make room for the proper organ systems to sustain his abilities. This is one reason the spider relies on his legs to keep enemies at an arm's length.
Beyond this, Die Spinne is noticeably lacking in the ranged department.

    Personality Description:

Die Spinne is an animal, first and foremost. While his intelligence is ludicrously high for an arachnid, in the long run he operates principly on instinct. His primary concerns are food and survival. His body is specially designed to be able to maximise food intake, even to the point of being able to digest his own webbing.
Die Spinne is not above tackling other giant monsters for food. This renders him a very aggressive creature, though he's notably content to leave enemies trapped in his webs for days before eating them.

    Fighting Style:

Die Spinne is a brawler, pure and simple. If an opponent isn't within charging distance, he'll drag them into range with his webbing. Die Spinne is an acrobat, and frequently blends his strikes with great leaps, bounds or the like, if it works to his advantage. For his simple brain, Die Spinne is disturbingly competent at strategy, at least as far as martial combat goes. He's been witnessed to block, parry and even execute combo strikes! Indeed, Die Spinne fights as though he's been trained to do so. His venom is less his trump card than a tactical weapon, used to soften up enemies or catch them off guard.

The stun silk is primarily used to soften up enemies while he drags them into range of his more sophisticated weaponry. Though he does prefer to immobilize his prey with his silk, he'll cease to rely on it after a certain point, lest he trap both himself and his opponent.

    Origin/History:

Die Spinne is a cloaked mystery. Most likely the spawn of the Rage virus, Die Spinne first came to be known during the large uprising of mutations, when he attacked a coastal city, feasting on the populace, as well as a squid mutation that surfaced during the rampage.
Die Spinne's rampage became a fierce battle, however, as Rygama came ashore, having pursued the squid mutant with intent to eat it herself. The two brawled viciously, Rygama finding herself caught in the spider's web, only to rip it out of the ground and drag it with her. The battle continued into the night, before Rygama seized the upper hand, heating up her flesh and plowing it into the spider's mouth, igniting the venom sacs and effectively exploding the arachnid's face. With a final stomp, Rygama crushed the spider's braincase, leaving his corpse stuck quite firmly to the bottom of her foot.

Months later, Die Spinne was discovered to have apparently survived, though with a noticeable "broken glass" pattern visible in his cephalothorax, apparently the result of faulty regeneration.
Die Spinne currently resides on what has been nicknamed "Monster Island", or "Isla De La Bestia", where he remains a fidgety, nervous, aggressive creature. He knows one of the residents has hurt him badly and is wary of them... he just can't quite seem to remember which one of them it was...

    Sample Battle Scene:

Die Spinne wasn't sure what to make of this new creature. He had first thought it to be one of the many tasty, wriggly things that populated this city, yet a moment later it was as big as him!

Jet Jaguar crossed his arms over his chest and loomed dramatically over the spider, grinning his signature grin. His joints rang out their signature shing as he assumed a fighting stance.

Die Spinne assumed his own fighting stance, raising his frontal pair of legs and tilting his cephalothorax back. Corrosive drool poured from his own grinning maw.

The two circled one another, neither making the first move.

Die Spinne's patience quickly ran out. Parting his jaws, he coiled his spring-like legs and jumped.
Jet Jaguar's gaze darted up, following the spider as it came down upon him. Extending his fist and leaning into the blow, the android swung a powerful right jab, plowing into Die Spinne's lower cephalothorax, stopping his descent and sending him right back with twice as much force!

Die Spinne didn't just fall back, he went flying. Yet despite the oozing crack in his belly, he retained focus. Tucking his legs close to his body, he cannonballed backwards, landing on all eight feet not less than ten blocks away! Without skipping a beat, his abdomen arched under his body, both spinnerettes pointing right at the android. Two bright white strands of solid material projected like bullets, both striking Jet Jaguar right in the feet. The android stumbled down, gazing as his feet as the silky substance adhered to both his feet and the pavement. He tried to pull his feet up, yet found them both firmly fused to the spot.

Die Spinne wasted no time, charging face forward into his enemy. Jet Jaguar threw his arms up, trying to block the spider as it tackled him, yet its great size ensured that all he did was sandwich his arms beneath Die Spinne's belly.
The arachnid immediately set to work, beating his pedipalps furiously into the robot's bionic cranium. Sparks flew and dents formed as the spider furiously pounded into Jet Jaguar's mug. An eye fractured and a mechanical wheeze escaped the curiously placed vents along his face.

The android heaved and shoved, lifting Die Spinne off of him. The spider dug its hooked claws into the pavement, but with another heave, Jet Jaguar hurled it off of him, pulling his leg up and standing. Wait, yes, standing! Die Spinne's tackle had ripped Jet Jaguar's feet free from their bindings, taking a massive chunk of road for each foot.

Die Spinne scuttled back as Jet Jaguar rose, brandishing his fists. As jet Jaguar prepared to throw a left hook into Die Spinne's face, strand of silk tore through the air, fusing into Jet Jaguar's prepared arm and quickly sweeping over his frontal portion, clotheslining both arms together.

Die Spinne swung his body back, lashing out with not one but four of his frontal legs, beating them into Jet Jaguar's chest, flinging the robot onto his back.

Die Spinne advanced to maul his downed opponent, only to be greeted by a vintage boot to the head, popping one of his twelve eyes.

Jet Jaguar rolled over, shoving back onto his feet. However, much to his dismay, both of his arms were now firmly fused to his chest. He still had legs, however.

Die Spinne jumped back, narrowly avoiding a stomp aimed at his head. Immediately his spinnerettes went to work. His dorsal patches lit up with a neon glow and his eyes began flashing randomly before all three lit up with the same glow. His rear legs began working furiously, pulling a coil of glowing green webbing from his backside.

Jet Jaguar rushed forward, aiming another stomp, but the spider literally jumped shark, hurling himself into the air and frontflipping over the robot's head.
Jet Jaguar spun around, but his enemy had already vanished behind the cover of office buildings. But he had an ace up his sleeve. Activating his invisible, plot hole-powered boosters, he ascended in seconds, floating high over the rooftops. The metropolis, however, did not betray the spider's presence. Jet Jaguar began to rotate, scanning the city.

A sudden motion from behind caught his attention, a moment before a green glow overtook him. A heavy, moist object smacked into his back - but this was the tame end of it. His circuts exploded in a hellstorm of ions as the energized material ripped through his innards, coursing across his form.

Spider and robot slammed into the ground, only one of them on their feet. Die Spinne released the flail-like glob of ion-silk, nearly as large as his cephalothorax. The string that allowed him to grip it dangled limply before him now, the main mass clinging to Jet Jaguar's back. It was time to finish it.

Jet Jaguar's circuts roared back to life with a distinct SHING. He rolled over, gazing at his opponent as its legs coiled beneath it, ready to strike. This couldn't be allowed. Even if he had to damage his body, he would retaliate. He pulled with his arms, at first doing nothing. As Die Spinne left the ground, however, the armor gave. Jet Jaguar ripped the skeletal frame of his arms from their metallic armor, swinging his upper body forward.

Die Spinne did a front flip, bringing his hind four legs together in a railspike-esuqe maneuver, intending to drive them all through the robot's body at once. His great weight and momentum would ensure that the clawed tips tore through the mech's body like carboard. True, his vulnerable spine was exposed now, but the blow would end the android before he got to exploit that. And so Die Spinne's hind region swung like a hatchet, down at Jet Jaguar's rising body.

Jet Jaguar's fist flew like an arrow, plowing into Die Spinne's backside with incalculable force. The armor was no match for the momentum and with a sickening squelch, the robot's mangled fist drove through Die Spinne's back, ripping through one of his ion-generation organs and driving directly into the spider's brain.

Both hit the ground, neither of them on their feet this time.

Jet Jaguar rose, however, pulling his fist from the arachnid's "spine". It twitched and gurgled at his feet, but its center of control had been decimated. Die Spinne was at Jet Jaguar's mercy.

Bringing his foot to face level and bringing it down on the spider's face, Jet Jaguar ended the battle.

I edited the abilities into bullets, as requested.

However, I'm going to point out the inherent illogic in a maximum wingspan. I gave her that because she couldn't possibly fly with anything less. What problem could a large wingspan possibly pose?

Honestly, I don't know. I really don't. Personally, don't have a problem with it and would be fine with it as is. Really, I see big wings=big target=bigger liability. But EM set the maximum weight and wingspan, though strangely no height or length, at least not yet. If you want to keep it as is for now, that's fine with me. You can talk to him, and I probably will to. But I'm just relaying what the bold yellow print in his post said.

I have to agree here that a limited wingspan doesn't make sense. As stated, it would make your kaiju a bigger target, and it'd also make the kaiju heavier.

We still have to decide a maximum height and length as well. We should make a topic for that now and discuss it in the private section.

It does make sense. If every other stat should have a limit, I don't see why wingspan shouldn't either? We sat parameters and since Showa Mothra is the largest wing span I'm aware of, we set it at that.

Arguing in Bio's defense though, having a bigger wingspan is logical for a larger flying kaiju. And like I pointed out, bigger wings are a bigger liability. Just saying.

Still, you have the final word.

Well if we all agree to make the limited wingspan larger I will definately go for it. It is something else we should discuss.

Good news Bio: the maximum wingspan has been officially increased to 320 meters, so there is no need to downsize.

    I still think it's ridiculous.

A 2,000,000 meter monster is kindof much, as is a 20,000,000 ton monster, but there's simply nothing wrong with having a colossal wingspan. I know the max is now greater, but the very idea of there being one is absurd. There are still perfectly reasonable monsters - like say, The One - who have far larger wingspreads. Hell, The One's was at least four times his own height, but he was well within reason.

There's simply no reason for their to be a maximum wingspan. To be perfectly honest, "The other stats have maximums" is one of the most horrible reasons for anything I've ever heard.

Bio, I understand that you think it's absurd and that you disagree with it. But can you, FOR ONCE, be happy that you got the rules changed for you, yourself, and pretty much only you? The reason we have stat maximums is so people like me don't walk in here, enter Biollante final stage, and the judges can't do a damn thing about. True, I would very happy, and would probably go a long ways in the tournament. But is it really fair or right? No, not really. So just keep your discontent to yourself for now, please. 320 meters is ridiculously friggen huge. If any kaiju needs a bigger wingspan than that to fly, then they should probably downsize for the tournament anyways.

    Have a nice day.

Bio....I'm wondering if you joined the tournament just for the sole purpose of causing drama? Be happy you got the rules changed, that doesn't HAPPEN often. Besides the wingspan limit was frankly, I think, very logical----if you notice how large a wingspan can make a difference look at the different Mothra's. Showa Mothra from the original movie has a lot more force behind her with a larger wingspan than Showa Mothra II. IT, like every other stat, should have a limit. It is not fair to other, smaller kaiju to have an uber gigantic kaiju. If you don't like something, and if it bothers you so badly instead of dragging it out on the forum why don't you private message someone, that's what the system is for. This tournament is not going to be a war like the last one.

Ignoring the wingspane debate for second...

I approve both Rygama and Die Spinne. They've got definite strengths and weaknesses and aren't too large, winspan or otherwise.

Yes, well, I can't help but feel that should've been stated more clearly, seeing has how the limit has always been four.

Anyway, since Donny's discussing boosting the limit, I'm leaving it up anyway, just in case.

If you would have read the rules, it specifically says in colored letters a maximum of two Kaiju. It says the number itself in Red Letters.

Hmm, Neal can't be approved until EM says whether or not he's going to extend the number of kaiju people are allowed to have. But I don't see any reason we can't leave his profile up should that happen. Just don't expect to hear an approval till the decision is made.

Hey Bio, we discussed the rules and decided to stick with them. They are guaranteed, 100%, for sure, rock solid, absolutely not going to change. And in case that previous sentence didn't have enough emphasis, let me put it in caps for you: THEY ARE STAYING THE WAY THEY ARE. So please scrap Neal, as he is in violation of the two kaiju per creator rule.

Thank you, and have a nice day.
