Ultra Kaiju Master

I can feel the amount of toning already needed... Name: RK-273 AKAM ‘Tempest’ Kaiju Type: Guardian Mecha Story Appearances (if any): Advent Height: 100 meters Length: None Weight: 16,880 tons Wingspan: 104 meters (when fully extended) Maximum Flight Speed: Mach 3 Powers/Abilities: Firestorm Cannon- The gattling gun-esque cannon on Tempest’s right shoulder can fire pellet-shaped bolts of red-orange, superheated plasma, at the same rate as an actual gattling gun. Each bolt is roughly the strength of a tank shell, and the firing can be sustained up to fifteen seconds before it requires a 30-second cool down time. Harmonic Cannon- The octagonal-shaped weapon on Tempest’s left shoulder can emit high-frequency waves of sound (in a cone-shape) attuned to a certain object’s frequency. When the two frequencies contact, the former will begin to erase the latter, effectively damaging said object. Before this can be used, the target must be locked on and allowed a three-second scan time before the weapon becomes effective. After said adjustments are made, the weapon usually deals as much as Rainbow Mothra’s Mega Buster attack. Swarmers- Tempest’s chest plates can open to reveal six parallel-placed holes. Each hole is actually a missile tube, allowing Tempest to fire off six missiles with slightly above-average strength at a time. He can only hold 20 missiles at a time, but the lack of storage is made up with the fact the missiles are heat-seeking. Tempest Blade- Quite possibly Tempest’s trademark weapon, the broadsword-like weapon composing his right hand and part of his forearm. Within the blade are two heating coils that, upon activation, can superheat the blade up to 2100 degrees Celsius, without damaging the blade’s structure. If this wasn’t enough, a tesla coil also lies within the blade, able to charge it with up to 56,000 volts of electricity for up to 7 seconds at a time. Alternatively, the blade can split down the middle (width-wise) to reveal the tesla coil, allowing the electricity to be discharged in wide bolts. These bolts have half of the voltage than when coursed through the blade, but they’re enough to fry poorly-protected circuitry and fry some flesh. Flamethrowers- The twin barrels on Tempest’s left forearm can expel streams of azure fire reaching temps. of up to 3000 degrees Celsius. The flames can be sustained for roughly 4 seconds before a cool-down time is required. Has enough fuel for 90 seconds of sustained fire. Energy Shield- Stored beneath the two flamethrower barrels (which slide away when activated) is a small force field generator, enough to create a 30-meter diameter, concave disk-shaped field of teal energy from his arm. The field stops most energy-based attacks below Spiral Ray strength. But doesn‘t do much against physical attacks. Can be sustained for 4 seconds at a time. Orbiting Counterattack Array (OCA)- At will, Tempest can disengage the four black spheres on his back, upon which they will hover in place in an ‘X’ formation behind him via antigravity generators. Each sphere has a camera built into it, giving Tempest a complete view of the entire area. The most notable ability of these devices, however, is the ability to fire pulses of orchid-colored, concussive energy. Each bolt is forceful enough to punch through a concrete building, and can fire at a semi-automatic rate. These spheres run off of minor generators stored in each sphere, as well as a backup ‘transmitting generator’ in each of the sphere’s holding-spaces. These can be active for roughly 45 minutes before they must be recalled. Vision Spectrum- Tempest’s LED-like eye isn’t just for show; each row allows him to see in a different spectrum of vision. When all three rows are active, the vision is normal; when only the top-most row is exposed, he sees in infra-red; when the middle-most row is exposed, he sees in an electromagnetic spectrum; when the bottom-most row is exposed, he sees in a night-vision mode; when both the top and bottom rows are exposed, he sees in an X-ray type of spectrum. These can be engaged and disengaged at will. Propulsion Systems- Tempest has antigravity devices in his feet and lower back that allow him to repel off of the ground and either hover up to 35 meters off of the ground, or allow him to jump over five times his normal distance. Also, located in each back-fin, Tempest has three compact boosters that can propel him forward in short bursts, or allow him to hover about in the air with excellent maneuverability. Alternatively, the fins can extend outward a bit, revealing more boosters that allow tempest to fly up to speeds of Mach 3. The jets have nigh-unlimited usage. Strengths/Weaknesses: Reflexes- In order to make up for his average steel coating, Tempest has been given high hydraulic reflexes. He moves twice as fast as the average kaiju, and is agile enough to dodge a large cluster of homing missiles (not all of them, mind you). Electricity & Ice- Tempest is rather vulnerable to these two types of attacks, as electricity may fry his circuits after a few good hits, and ice causes his joints to freeze over temporarily. Weak Plating- Unlike most mecha, Tempest isn’t very durable. Sure, he has steel plating, but most kaiju can break through that with ease, exposing his joints and circuitry with a few strong hits. Physical Description: A humanoid mecha with a hunched stature and lithe build starts it off. His upper body is shaped much like a triangular prism, with the flat side aiming upwards, and the chest-plating all jutting upwards into a single, flattened point aimed outwards. His shoulders are little more than spheres with twin triangular plates jutting out from their tops and sweeping out to the side roughly 10 meters. On each shoulder is a thick octagonal prism, though the left one ends in a satellite-shaped dish with angular edges and what appears to be a hollow spike in its center; the right shoulder ending in six narrow gun barrels that can rotate around a central point. The forearms each have a large, elongated, triangular plate covering them, with the farthest points aiming at the hands, while the shins have diamond-shaped plates that split at the ends to allow movement for the feet. Tempest’s head resembles a bullet with a flatted bottom, and the point curves downwards slightly. A single visor-like eye that consists of three rows of small, orange-glowing dots, with a patch of brighter light acknowledging the location of the ‘pupil’. His feet end in three wide claws; two in front and one in the back, while the left arm ends in a wicked clawed hand, bearing three fingers while the forearm has a small ‘pack’ jutting out of the triangular plate, with two flamethrower barrels poking out forward. The right hand is nothing more than a wide, 20-meter long blade with a thin line running down it’s center, width-wise. Tempest’s back bears six thin ‘fins’ on his back, arrayed in a hexagonal formation. Each fin bulges out at the end, revealing the main boosters used by the mecha. The mech’s coloration is mainly black, with the larger plates (chest, forearms, shins, shoulders, etc) being a metallic crimson. The joints are a chrome coloration. Personality Description: Omega, Tempest’s AI, is a cold, calculating entity with a strong distaste for organic life. He finds them useless, and as such, won’t hesitate to wipe them out, whether kaiju or human forces. He may occasionally try to reason with an opponent if he deems it necessary, or he may taunt them spitefully before launching an attack. Fighting Style: Tempest prefers to go into a fight by studying his opponent first, then unleashing with a barrage of projectile attacks, mostly with his shoulder-mounted weaponry, keeping the OCA active in case of sneak attack. When he deems them ‘tenderized’, he moves in and hacks his opponent apart with the Tempest Blade before moving back out and finishing with his flamethrowers and a few tesla bolts. He always uses the surrounding terrain to his advantage, and is rather brutal in melee fights, usually going for weak points, limbs, organs, etc. If it means losing a limb or a weapon, Tempest will stop at nothing to win a fight. Origin/History: To further combat the new, ever-growing threat of kaiju, the nations of the world (or most, anyway) had put aside their differences to take care of this threat, forming the Global Kaiju Counterattack Force. Contributing their greatest state-of-the-art military technology, the various countries worked together to produce something not even the so-called ‘defender of Earth’ Bahamut could stand against: The RK-273 Anti-Kaiju Assault Mecha, or ‘Tempest’. Using super-advanced hydraulics, weapon systems, and targeting arrays, the mech seemed to be the world’s greatest chance at hope. However, the idea of having several humans piloting the mech became too hazardous to use, what with the mech’s energy source waste and the fact they’d be internally pasted if the mech moved at speeds exceeding 300 mph. So, using what little budget the GKCF had, they purchased an old AI by the name of Omega, who was originally used to assist military pilots in handling new vehicles. After a few modifications, they installed the AI into the mecha, and just in time, for Daraku had re-appeared after his ten-month disappearance. The mech was launched, and Tempest had managed to slaughter his opponent rather brutally. So, the mech was ordered to return to base. There was no response from the AI. The GKCF ordered him several more times, but the only response they got was a mocking laugh. Grudgingly, Tempest returned to base for repairs as Omega considered the mecha’s massive combat capability, and began to formulate a plan. A week passed, and the worst kaiju the planet had ever faced surfaced: Gaia. After observing Bahamut fall by her hands, the GKFC ordered out Tempest to dispatch the earthly amalgamation, eventually becoming overpowered by the elemental. To the world’s surprise, the insect Daraku had arrived to the fight! The alien distracted Gaia long enough for Tempest to get back on his feet, allowing both to fight side-by-side, just this once. Both fought well, but were eventually destroyed by the Earth Mother, and just as it seemed all human life would be ended, a familiar saurian arrived to finish the fight his two ‘allies’ had started. Bahamut. Sample Battle Scene: The shining obsidian mecha stepped into view from behind a skyscraper, his ‘pupil’ sweeping from side to side as it searched for its target. A mechanical shriek answered his question as a cluster of tiny red beams blew through the building next to him, heralding the arrival of Gigan. Tempest stepped out from behind his cover as four spheres disengaged from his back and began hovering behind him in an ‘X’ formation, a small orchid light flaring up on their fronts. The mecha assumed a defensive stance as the Xillian cyborg slid his scythes against each other, sending sparks flying. Before the alien could attack, however, the gattling-gun on Tempest’s right shoulder clicked into life, unleashing a barrage of pellet-shaped red bursts of energy, each plowing into Gigan’s exterior and punching holes open. The alien shrieked in pain before rushing forward, his buzz saw activating as he let out an angry cry. Tempest’s left shoulder cannon hummed into life before unleashing a blast of sonic waves, visible as a surge of ‘wavy air’ that impacted against Gigan, literally shattering the biomechanical flesh that covered his torso. A blast of blood erupted forth from the cyborg’s abdomen, making him stumble backwards and into a building. “Target incapacitated.” The mecha droned over GKFC war-room intercom. Gigan hissed, stumbling forward as he swept his scythes at Tempest. One of the blades managed to puncture Tempest’s abdomen after a good shove, but the other was deflected by Tempest’s blade-arm. The mecha glanced at the scythe lodged in its stomach, and replied by impaling Gigan with his own blade. The Xillian weapon shrieked, blood oozing out of the side of his mouth before another humming sound caught his attention. Thousands of volts of electricity were suddenly pumped into the alien, frying him on the inside and short-circuiting his mechanical parts. Tempest shoved the hybrid off as the panels n his chest opened, revealing several tubes beneath. A flurry of missiles launched out, exploding against Gigan’s front and sending what little flesh was left flying through the air. Gigan roared in pain before firing off another Cluster Ray, the needle-like blasts rending open the exposed plating to reveal circuitry. “Miserable freak! I’ll rip you apart for that!” The mecha boomed. A strong punch slammed into Gigan’s jaw, before all four spheres behind him tilted towards Gigan, flaring up even brighter. Bolts of orchid energy began to pulse out, burning through Gigan’s hide and cauterizing the wounds, weakening the cyborg’s defenses further. The Xillian alien had had enough, and jumped backwards as his organic engines came to life. He bounded into the air, his back-fins spreading out to catch the air currents as he began to flee the scene. Sadly, this didn’t go over well with Tempest. The six fins on the mech’s back slid outward, and over a dozen jets flared into life as the OCA clicked back into their holding bins. Tempest took to the air after Gigan as his blade-arm split open, revealing a sort of spike within, which then began to charge with electricity. Gigan glanced over his shoulder and released his final shriek as a bolt of lightning slammed into his back, frying what circuitry was left within his lithe form and causing him to erupt violently, scattering burnt flesh and metal over the area. Tempest’s eye-light flickered as he gave the area one last scan, then turned around and rushed back to his GKFC military hangar for much-needed repairs. |

Looks pretty damn good my friend. I would add a little bit more to the 'fighting style section', it is a tad vague and could use a bit more sharpening. Other than that, I approve Tempest. I'll let my Beasts weigh in with their opinions.

Hoo-boy...Ummm, yeah. I think just a tad of toning down is in order.... Ok, unfortunately for you, I looked up the rate of fire for a modern gatling gun, which first of all I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. 6,000 rounds in one minute is a lot. A really lot. Now that actually wouldn't be a problem given your 15 second limit on the firing, except for one thing: you made each little pellet/bolt as strong as a tank shell. That's too much. That's way, way, waaayyy too much. at fifteen seconds, you'd be spitting out 1,500 bolts, which is equal to 1,500 tank shells, which is just too much. Tone it down. Ok, I'm a little unclear on the harmonic cannon. From the sound of it, it can cancel out weapons or shields and then damage things based on frequency? I'm not sure. If it can cancel out anything, then it needs to be toned down. If it doesn't, explain that to me and it's probably ok. I'm having a really hard time seeing why the Orbiting counterattack array should be allowed at all, really. I mean, Tempest has missiles, a shield, a powerful sword, a plasma gatling gun (though it needs some work), a harmonic canon, way more vision modes than anyone needs, jets, and flamethrowers. Why does he need four extra semi automatic energy blasters that can go almost anywhere and hit the target from any angle while Tempest is bludgeoning them? I'll see if a second judge thinks they're ok, but I think they're one advantage too many. By the way, your flamethrowers are hot enough to melt your whole robot, except apparently your blade. Steel melts at 1370 degrees Celsius. Now, since their projecting the flame away from your robot, it has a little bit of a buffer, but not much. Your flamethrowers might need some work. Also, I'd like a more specific cooldown time for them. I also would like to know a cool down time, if there is one, for the energy shield. |

Okay, or some reason theres no 'Edit' button on my first post, so after this post I'll be putting up the edited version. The harmonic cannon doesn't cancel out attacks or shields, it merely damages an opponent by pumping out waves of sound attuned to the selected target's frequency. When the Harmonic Cannon manages to attune itself to an enemy, the waves it eminates are the opposite of the selected target's, making the two cancel eachother out, and therefore dealing damage to the latter frequency (the target). Think the Guyver's Sonic Buster. *shrug* Kay... Firestorm toned down, OCA removed (I guess it was an attempt to make a unique mecha; my bad), flamethrowers toned down and given cool-down time, as well as the shield. |

Here's mah second kaiju! *braces for toning* Name: Destroyah Kaiju Type: Micro-oxygen altered Precambrian life form Story Appearances: Godzilla: Atomic Requiem Height: 130 meters Length: 140 meters Weight: 195,000 tons Wingspan: 220 meters Maximum Flight Speed: Mach 1 Powers/Abilities: Micro Oxygen Beam- By channeling the very energy that fuels it, Destroyah can spew forth a destructive beam of micro-oxygen, appearing as a concentrated steam of mist mixed with crackling bolts of blue-purple energy. This attack is as strong as his movie counterpart’s. Requires 2-seconds charge time. Energy Horn- Destroyah can charge his horn with energy, and upon swiping it forward, he can project a 30-meter blade of energy from the blade. The blade can cut through anything up to titanium with ease, and cauterizes most wounds. However, this attack requires a lot of energy to use, and Destroyah can only do it every so often, for roughly a swipe at a time. Energy Drain- By stabbing his inner jaw into a living opponent’s body, he can drain their energy while simultaneously pumping deadly amounts of micro-oxygen into their bloodstream. 1 minute of exposure to this ability is enough to incapacitate an opponent for a good hour or so. Micro-Oxygen Cloud- A multi-purpose ability, Destroyah opens up multiple ‘ports’ on his body (mainly at the joints) and releases a cloud of thick mist. The cloud is composed of the microscopic creatures that compose Destroyah, and anything entering the cloud will be affected as though hit by Destroyah’s breath weapon, burning away their exterior. However, this has an opposite effect on Destroyah himself, for as long as he remains in the cloud he gains a slow regeneration, able to repair breaches in his carapace and other minor wounds. This ability is particularly devastating in the water, the cloud spreading out farther and the corrosive effect twice as powerful, though the regenerative slows down somewhat. Particle Wave- Destroyah can begin to filter in particles of energy within a 500-meter radius and gather it into the organ located behind his crest, eventually opening the plates outward (much like a flower opening) to reveal a pool of churning white energy. Upon gathering the required amount of energy, Destroyah will then release a wide beam of extremely concussive force. The beam is roughly twice as powerful as Heisei Godzilla’s Spiral Ray, and as concussive as GFW Godzilla’s Atomic Ray. Requires a 20-second charge time; during which Destroyah’s movements are roughly a third as fast. Usable only once every 24 hours. Brute Strength- Being of a powerful build, Destroyah can lift/exude up to twice his own body weight with his arms, jaws, and tail. Strengths/Weaknesses: Body Composition- Despite his appearance, Destroyah is actually built of a massive colony of microscopic creatures constantly exuding micro-oxygen. Due to this, any opposing kaiju striking him in melee combat will be infected by small amounts of micro-oxygen. While this isn’t much of a problem at first, the damage can build up after a while, eventually turning the fight in Destroyah’s favor. Thick Carapace- Destroyah’s carapace is somewhat thick, being able to withstand almost any type of conventional weaponry and weak melee attacks. However, if a patch is broken open, there’s nothing to stop an opponent from going at Destroyah’s weak interior. Slow- Trading in speed for durability, Destroyah’s maneuverability isn’t the best. His reflexes are poor, and the only time you can call him even relatively fast is when he’s airborne, and even then he’s still pretty slow. Cold-Based Attacks- Though seemingly resistant to most types of conventional weaponry, Destroyah has a surprisingly large vulnerability to cold-based attacks. Such abilities will literally freeze the micro-organisms that hold him together, damaging his structure and slowing him down. Physical Description: Much like his movie counterpart, but with visible alterations. For one, his arms are longer, with the forearms being a bit barrel-shaped, the backs covered in small spikes curving backwards and the chitin sweeping past his elbows to a point. His bottom jaw is a bit thicker, and can split apart if need be (seen during Energy Drain), hidden in the back of his maw is an extendable jaw similar to his Aggerate’s form. His cranial horn is roughly another third longer, a bit jagged at the edges, and curves upwards a bit about halfway up. His knees are a bit more flexible, allowing him to move without ‘waddling’, and the three ’claws’ on each knee point upwards now, with two more forward-pointing claws positioned between the three larger ones. His tail-claw bears three pincers arranged in a triangular fashion around the end of the appendage. He bears three spikes instead of one on each shoulder, and his second pair of wings are a bit larger, allowing them to serve a function in flight. A series of katana-like blades runs down his spine, with three rows in the center of his back, ending again as one row roughly halfway-down his tail. Personality Description: Destroyah is a cruel, hateful entity that hopes to inflict as much pain and fear into as many creatures as possible, relishing the taste of an opposing kaiju’s flesh (though he has no need to feed). He purposefully attacks inhabited areas for these reasons, going out of his way just to ruin (or end) a few hundred lives. Fighting Style: Destroyah is an intelligent, spiteful opponent that always tries to attack an opponent’s ‘soft spot’ whether physical or mental, hoping to drain every last drop of agony from them. He loves using his physical strength to rip an opponent apart, and can usually go an entire battle with minimal usage of his projectiles. However, if hard-pressed, he will resort to using his micro-oxygen abilities, even luring his opponent into the water where said abilities give him a slight advantage. He’ll only use the Particle Wave if the fight is definitely against him. Origin/History: Fifty years after the original Godzilla attacked Tokyo and was vanquished by Serizawa’s devastating weapon the Oxygen Destroyer, the world had been scourged by the threat of giant monsters. In order to combat this threat, the JSDF began constructing multiple mecha to deal with these monstrosities. Sadly, all of these mechanical behemoths had been trashed by their opponents, and the Japanese were constantly forced to ‘up their ante’. After building their most powerful mecha yet, the JSDF decided to take a different route with this one’s piloting system, so instead of sending more soldiers to die, they installed a sort of remote control in the steel behemoth. However, one thing still remained- the mech’s internal structure could never support the metal kaiju. So, a retrieval team was sent into the waters near Japan to collect the one shape that could sustain the mech: The skeleton of the original Godzilla. Almost exactly a year later, reports from the downtown aquarium keep stating that for some reason, the fish keep dying overnight, so the owners do a few checks. Unfortunately, several of the repair-men come up missing, nothing left but their tattered clothes, so the owner calls the police. The cops show up and inspect the area, only to be attacked by several crab-like creatures! It's later discovered that these creatures are creatures from the Pre-Cambrian era, mutated by the very weapon that killed Godzilla in 1954. How they came to the surface is being kept under wraps, however, as the JSDF is fully aware... because they're the ones that did it. Later, the JSDF's secret comes out as a sneaky reporter broadcasts the attack of the micro-oxygen creatures, dubbed 'Destroyah' due to their origin. The creatures have multiplied within the aquarium, and the special forces are called in to take care of them. Sadly, the creatures simply counter the attack until a few napalm bombs from a few jets stop them in their tracks. Thinking the creatures destroyed, the humans rejoice... until the ground breaks open below them to reveal a monstrous new creature, the combination of the lesser Destroyah swarm. Destroyah went on a rampage through downtown as a guilty member of the JSDF confessed to the creation of the Destroyah: After the skeleton of the first Godzilla was recovered, it had to be cleansed of both radiation and micro-oxygen, the latter of which was disposed of discreetly in a tanker below ground. Unfortunately, there was a breach in the system after an attack from Godzilla, and the result wasn't pretty. The chemical had seeped into the surrounding ground, and eventually into the water, whereupon it coalesced with the rest of the leftovers from the 1954‘s Godzilla‘s death, infecting a few microscopic entities. Speaking of the saurian, Godzilla made landfall again after being starved of radiation, only to be bum-rushed by Destroyah. The two battle, and Godzilla begins to get the upper hand until Destroyah enters the water, attacking Godzilla with a hazy cloud of lethal micro-oxygen. Godzilla is left nigh-lifeless in the harbor as Destroyah heads back into the city, extracting oxygen from everything within a few hundred meters as it goes. After a few hours, the JSDF attacked again, but this time with the Kiryu, until Destroyah returned in a third form, wiping out the militant forces and beating the saurian mecha with little effort after Kiryu‘s genetic memories of the Oxygen Destroyer were re-awoken by Destroyah. Night fell, and Godzilla returns from the sea to do battle after recovering, and the fight was somewhat-equal. Destroyah mutated into his final form, a towering monstrosity, and beat Godzilla into a bloody pulp. Just as it seems Destroyah would deliver the finishing blow, a maser strikes him in the face, and the damaged Kiryu then waded into battle. Kiryu joined his 'son' and the two managed to damage Destroyah to the point of an attempted retreat, but was met with a combination of Kiryu’s chest-mounted weapon, the Absolute Zero Cannon, and a super-charged radiation beam from Godzilla. The combination caused Destroyah to freeze over completely, then be vaporized as the frozen oxygen in his body was superheated, causing the micro oxygen-spawned entity to erupt in an explosion that wiped out a fourth of Tokyo. Kiryu's remains were taken from the rubble, his skeleton having disappeared, along with his son... Sample Battle Scene: The crustacean entity dropped out of the clouds above Tokyo, emitting its horrible cry as its very presence began to taint the air around it. Another shrill cry, though deeper, greeted Destroyah, followed by a sphere of fire whizzing past Destroyah’s face. The crustacean was disgruntled by this, and landed, hoping to find the source of his annoyance. Another fireball whizzed forth, but this one found its target. Destroyah screamed in pain as the cluster of spikes on his right shoulder were blown off, the Guardian of the Universe stepping into view. Destroyah’s eyes gleamed with hatred as he lumbered forward towards the turtle, who, being a head smaller than he, felt a bit imposed by the massive crustacean. The Guardian shook it off before running forward, slashing at the conglomeration of microscopic entities before realizing it was doing very little. Gamera growled, which turned to a choke as Destroyah’s large claw swept around and grabbed the turtle by the throat, the claws digging into his flesh. The turtle howled as he was chucked into a building, then sprayed by a blast of concentrated micro-oxygen, the latter of which quickly corroded away a moderate area of the defender’s shell. Gamera wailed in pain before rising to his feet, readying another fireball as Destroyah hissed, a cloud of vapor escaping his demonic maw. Gamera snarled, spewing forth the sphere-compacted inferno, which slammed into Destroyah’s front and exploded violently on impact, sending Destroyah staggering backwards. The mutant crustacean screamed angrily as his tail lashed forward, the three claws at its end slashing the turtle titan across the face, earning a spray of blood. Gamera screeched in protest as the monstrous amalgamation before him strode forward, energy lighting his blade-like horn. A saber of energy stretched out from the horn, and in a flash, it was gone, a spray of blood erupting from Gamera’s shoulders to roughly halfway down the front of his torso. The wound appeared to be ‘foaming’ over as Gamera wailed again, bringing his fist up to slam it into Destroyah’s jaw, earning an audible ‘crack’ as green blood dribbled out of Destroyah’s mandibles. The giant stumbled backwards as Gamera quickly rose to his feet, hammering away at Destroyah’s face with powerful slams, then fired off a fireball at point-blank range, enveloping Destroyah’s entire upper torso in an inferno. Green blood sprayed out onto Gamera’s face as Destroyah howled in pain, staggering backward as he clutched at his disgusting maw. Gamera took this chance to attack the behemoth while he was down, and extended his elbow blades as he rushed forward. Bad move. Just as Gamera was about to impact, Destroyah’s eyes glinted, and he lashed his head upwards as his lower jaw split in half, allowing a piston-like inner mouth to shoot out into Gamera’s eye, making the turtle scream in agony. Destroyah’s inner maw slid back into place, his jaw line sliding back together before he slammed a claw into the side of Gamera’s head, making the turtle fly to the side, skidding along the ground and sending debris flying. The turtle tried to rise, only to have Destroyah’s large foot slam down on his abdomen, forcing his shell to start cracking as Destroyah exerted his strength into it. However, that was only the beginning of Gamera’s worries… Multiple cracks opened up on Destroyah’s frame, mainly the joints and cracks in his carapace. Gamera’s eyes widened as a thick cloud of sickly-gray vapor began billowing out of it, surrounding a good 100-meter area around the chitinous fiend. Gamera felt numb as he watched the vapor begin to slowly reconstruct Destroyah’s wounds- albeit slowly, but repaired nonetheless. Gamera screamed, knowing he had to do something, but he didn’t have enough air to muster a fireball. To add to his misery, the vapor then began eating away at Gamera’s exposed face, making him scream in agony once more as the find on top of him relished the turtle’s pain. Gamera’s cries faded away to grunts as the vapor slowly dissipated, but the turtle was still in pain, and couldn’t get Destroyah off! The beast hissed in joy as energy crackled across his plates, but unlike his micro-oxygen beam buildup, this energy was crackling throughout the entirety of Destroyah’s body. Gamera’s eyes narrowed, and he growled as he saw a light form behind Destroyah’s chest as the beast let out a shriek of joy into the night sky. Tonight, the world would see it’s noblest defender vanish into history… The crest on Destroyah’s chest began to split open, revealing a churning mass of white energy. Destroyah slid his foot off of Gamera, who sadly, couldn’t get out of the way from being weakened due to blood loss. Gamera struggled to rise to his feet, staggering about as Destroyah seemed to sneer at the defender as the pool in his chest pulsed. Gamera snarled as fire began to well in his maw, making Destroyah’s eyes widen, then narrow. This little worm would see the error of his ways… Destroyah let out a bellowing cry as he threw his arms to the side, releasing a wide beam of white energy. The beam rushed forward, slamming into Gamera’s front, rapidly burning through the shell as it knocked Gamera off of his feet and carried him several hundred meters before it broke through his torso and dissipated, making the defender collapse onto his knees, lifeless. Destroyah shrieked in victory, the staggered forward, ripping an arm off of the beast, sucking out the blood he so loved to taste… |

Well, first let me say that this is one of the few Destroyah's I actually liked. As for the toning, I think the micro-oxygen beam is fine, the horn is fine, but the rest...well... Ok, I think the energy draining would be fine as just energy draining or injecting micro-oxygen. Being able to do both at once is a lot. The micro oxygen cloud should be fine if its just a bit weaker; I don't think it needs to be as strong as his beam, but under water it could be increased to be that strong at maximum. I think the particle ray should be a little weaker, but not too much actually. Maybe twice as strong as GFW Godzilla's beam. A little weaker than the spiral ray, but still more than enough power to be a super ray. As for physical strength...look, I'm sorry but that is way, way too much. Right now your Destroyah is stronger than Rygama, and since he's armed to the teeth with beams that is too much. Less than half that, at most. Rygama strength is pretty much for tooth and claw only. The strengths seem fine, but the weaknesses are not quite there. Being really slow and bad reflexes is good, but his other major weakness is actually kind of poor. It's purely circumstantial, or a kaiju that just happens to have it. I think he needs another weakness, not circumstantial please, to balance him out. But, I don't think it's too much, all things considering. |

Ultra Kaiju Master

STILL no Edit button on any of my posts in this thread, so... Name: Destroyah Kaiju Type: Micro-oxygen altered Precambrian life form Story Appearances: Godzilla: Atomic Requiem Height: 130 meters Length: 140 meters Weight: 195,000 tons Wingspan: 220 meters Maximum Flight Speed: Mach 1 Powers/Abilities: Micro Oxygen Beam- By channeling the very energy that fuels it, Destroyah can spew forth a destructive beam of micro-oxygen, appearing as a concentrated steam of mist mixed with crackling bolts of blue-purple energy. However, this attack requires a lot of energy to use, and Destroyah can only do it every so often, for roughly a swipe at a time. Energy Drain- By stabbing his inner jaw into a living opponent’s body, he can drain their energy at a surprisingly fast rate. 1 minute of exposure to this ability is enough to incapacitate an opponent for a good hour or so. Any energy drained using this ability is slowly turned into micro-oxygen; without this ability, Destroyah is incapacitated (see Micro-Oxygen Supply). Micro-Oxygen Cloud- A multi-purpose ability, Destroyah opens up multiple ‘ports’ on his body (mainly at the joints) and releases a cloud of thick mist. The cloud is composed of the microscopic creatures that compose Destroyah, and anything entering the cloud will be affected as though hit by Destroyah’s breath weapon at half-power, burning away their exterior. Upon gathering the required amount of energy, Destroyah will then release a wide beam of extremely concussive force. The beam is roughly twice as powerful as GFW Godzilla’s basic breath weapon, and as concussive as a single . Requires a 20-second charge time; during which Destroyah’s movements are roughly a third as fast. Usable only once every 24 hours. Brute Strength- Being of a powerful build, Destroyah can lift/exude up to his own body weight with his arms, jaws, and tail. Due to this, any opposing kaiju striking him in melee combat will be infected by small amounts of micro-oxygen. While this isn’t much of a problem at first, the damage can build up after a while, eventually turning the fight in Destroyah’s favor. Also, due to not having a bloodstream, he is rendered immune to most toxins. Such abilities will literally freeze the micro-organisms that hold him together, damaging his structure and slowing him down. Micro-Oxygen Supply- In order to keep his energy supply full, Destroyah needs to constantly absorb energy to create Micro Oxygen, with which to fuel himself. If Destroyah cannot attain energy, his movements will become even slower, eventually moving slow enough for an old man in a wheelchair to escape him, and his micro-oxygen-based abilities will become null and void until he can attain more energy. Depending on the size of his victim, at least 1 minute of energy drain should be enough to fuel Destroyah for a good hour or so. Personally, I approve Dessy. I think his weaknesses are actually pretty goood. You might wanna specify a little bit more regarding cold based attacks, like if it can just be cold water like stuff, or ice? or both. But other than that, i say approved. |

There ARE edit buttons. They're situated at the top of the post, inbetween the 'Report' and 'Quote' buttons, which are also blue. That's probably why they're easy to miss. |

He has brought to my attention that they haven't been working for him. Idk if it is some sort of forum glitch or what. Hmm. |
