Happy Thanksgiving Kaiju Galaxy! The main website has bee updated. Go here for site updates: Site Updates -Donny-
I have added a header section and a links section onto Kaiju Galaxy! Let me know what you think at this link so I can know if we want to keep this or throw it out. Also, please post any ideas or things you would like to see on the forum there so I might be able to devise some set-up or what have you as to make this board better than it already is, which is already awesome! -Sahra-

Ok, we are 41 days passed the day which this forum's very blog - Journalism G2K - was concieved. There have been 14 posts, done by me and member Kuroneko-Sama. We were the first to cover the Japanese made Blu-Ray discs. So, since we are still new and only have three subscribers (me, Lee, and MekaGojira3K (I do not know if it is the same one from club tokyo discussion forum)) along with a total of 751 page views. So, how do you like the site so far and what can we (so far, writers for the blog are me, Kuroneko Sama, and Donny with Donny having say with the site and me being the web master) do to make it, better. Or any synonym of better. Tell me. |

I Like it. Everything is well wrote. I am sure you will get more comments once the site gets out there and starts to truely roll. I have found all the articles an entertaining read. But nothing much for me that I feel I have to comment on at this junction point. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing postings featuring the status on a new Godzilla Movie. The Blue ray stuff was nice and it is great to hear that GvBio is finally coming out (Did it ever get to DVD? can you find out if it will and post it on the blog?) Otherwise it was a fun read. cya G7 |

I think the blog is very well done. I say you're doing an awesome and commendable job and should keep up the good work. And if that GvsBio blu-ray comes out in America, Nidd will be a very, very happy man. |

You can import them because Japanese Blu-Ray discs play on American players...

No, you just have to mail Miramax demanding a release. But with the blu-ray, you don't really need US subtitles because I have memorized most Godzilla films. |

well at this junction point I don't have a blu-ray player of any sort. I just got pretty much everything on DVD... and of course a change comes about. But that is okay. I am sure I will purchase something that is Blu-ray enabled. As it is. I have 4 major DVD players (of various types) and two newer VCR platforms (so I am not going to lose out on being able to view the films I have in whatever format they are in). That might be an interesting subject for you to blog G2K... the various platforms people use to view things (in some cases due to the lack of films for/on some such formats). Heck... I even have a beta-player "LOL" which I only use now to watch the giant ant film "THEM!" and the "DEADLY MANTIS". I think this would ring pretty close to the heart of many foreign/kaiju film lovers as a lot of this stuff is pretty limited in avalibility... so what they have they need said players/platforms to view such films. Might even want to discuss which is potentially hotter... Blu-ray or downloading. Both of which appear to be pretty hot. Though if you want my opinion... downloading is so much more in use (viewed on computer screens afterwards -- at least in my circle of friends). Anyhow. I can't wait to see you (and your other very fine writers) garner all the attention from the Kaiju+ world. It will be fun to watch it develop. cya G7 |

ummm I am more an idea man and dreaming schemer... lol I wouldn't say writing is my biggest asset. But take it and run with it. I don't think I could do screen captures from the varioius plateforms I have G2K (I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like that). Though I think somewhere in my stuff, I once tried to use a digital camera to capture pics from a TV screen of a VHS somewhere... not all the images are bad... but you can see the bad quality from it (not my tape, just the digital capturing the TV lines, colors and all). I don't really have the time to invest into helping write a blog at this time. Between life and my own endeavors I really can't say yes and then not be able to produce. That isn't a no. I would love to contrubute at some later date. Just can't right now. Though I am thinking one of you fine writers could easily take the subject matter suggested and certainly run with it. Far as I am concerned it would be a great article to run. Especially considering we are all dependent upon whatever formats we are using to view Kaiju/foreign films. You might even throw in a bit explaining indepth what the various Region 1, Region 2 etc. means. that might be invaluably helpful to anyone who has an interest but is incredibly new at dealing with all the various ins and outs of finding what they seek.
