Happy Thanksgiving Kaiju Galaxy! The main website has bee updated. Go here for site updates: Site Updates -Donny-
I have added a header section and a links section onto Kaiju Galaxy! Let me know what you think at this link so I can know if we want to keep this or throw it out. Also, please post any ideas or things you would like to see on the forum there so I might be able to devise some set-up or what have you as to make this board better than it already is, which is already awesome! -Sahra-

Maybe give it five years, a couple at least before they start again. But, if they can get the right people to do this film and they pull it off, this might just be the shot in the arm this fandom so desperately needs... |

Wow this is really exciting! It isn't set in stone but at least they are contemplating making some sort of new movie. Hopefully if they do it is better than the 1998 version. Yikes. lol. Thank you for posting this, BSDQ!

Unlikely. What we can hope for is that they stick closer to the character than last time and give him a chance. Since this is Warner Brothers we're talking about (Legendary Pictures is contracted to make films for WB until 2010), I am cautiously optimistic. |

As am I. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll revive another Kaiju as well...perhaps Mothra (god that would be my dream) or King Ghidorah. =D Or perhaps Rodan! |

I just hope they don't go overboard with CGI, when I say overboard I'm talking about the kinda crap we see in a lot of action movies now a days. Vin Diesel movies come to mind. |

Sweet. Sounds fantastic. Though I am not a huge fan of Iguanazilla... I thought, except for the disappointment in physical appearence, it was a great movie. ...and there was that left over one that hatched... so who knows. I agree with EM on other Daikaiju appearing. Frankly I would love for a Guardian Mothra to appear over another simple city brawler. (Course you do realize... Iguanazilla would probably eat her or any other foe if indeed they do use it again). I don't usually disagree with you in most things Django. But Far as the CGI thing goes... American movies do it right. So I have to say I think it would be some fun stuff. We would get a lot of simple movements Suitmation simply wouldn't. What I hope is we don't get a repeat of Final Wars as so far as humans doing the Matrix thing... Loved the Matrix...hated it in Final Wars. Just my opinions... *wink* Daikaiju is Daikaiju at this momment. So I will take it. G7 |

Agreed completely. The anti-CGI sentiment I've see the fandom is really starting to get old. People really need to learn to think outside the box. |

Well I guess they could have CGI if they did it right,meaning beams need to be CGI,they could use CGI for scenes costumes can't do,but if they go overboard,it would be to cartoonish. |

I think a combination of CGI and suitmation could work extremely well. I mean, we've had some very excellent suits in the past, and combine that with WETA or ILM, and you've got a Godzilla that actually looks 100% real. Godzilla's back, bitches. |

I do not think this is that good of news. This could have been a rumor, so someone from the company just pranking us. I hope that it doesn't come to pass. Though since this seems legit enough, I am going to contact Legendary Pictures and give them a piece of my mind. Plus, not to mention some other people... |

Yes, the do got a good list of films, TDK, Batman Begins, Superman Returns, and 300. But I still don't like it. The GINO scare is still prety releavent with me... |

Aren't you guys getting a bit carried away with this? If this happens, it could be good, but nowhere has it stated that this movie is even going to go into full-fledged production. All we know is that it's someone's idea to make a new American Godzilla. That's all. And why the hell would you even be scared of it? It's not like we even know anything about it, let alone what it will be about, who will direct, star, etc. |
