Ultra Kaiju Master
|
Classification: Extra dimensional Silicon-based... Saurian? [not sure what to classify him as!] Alignment: Neutral Height: 295 Feet [Roughly 100 Meters] Length: Over a 100 Meters Weight: 2,630 Tons Offensive Abilities: Bladehead: Mutavore's entire head is shaped like a guillotine blade, and though he never has an opportunity to use it in combat, Mutavore does use it to great effect when he breaches the anti-Kaiju "Wall of Life" with ease; Mutavore also has a mouth with sharp teeth, which could be dangerous, but still doesn't compare to the threat of his entire head! Four arms: Like Trespasser, Knifehead, and Scunner, Mutavore has two larger main arms, and two smaller arms along the ribs; unlike the others, Mutavore's limbs are pure weapons. The lower arms are hooked blades, and the main arms have blades with a couple of claws on either side [I think; will have to see the movie again to confirm!] EDIT: Confirmed that Mutavore has only two fingers on each primary arm, unlike the three on the others. These two claws are longer and blade-like, and could probably tear through Jaeger armor with ease... if he could ever get a hold of a Jaeger! Defensive Abilities: Back blades: Mutavore has what look like three large, bony blades on his back; they look like they can't be wielded in combat, but could provide protection from attacks from behind, and maybe could even damage an attacker, sort of like Anguirus' spiked shell. Tails: Mutavore has three tails, but they appear so low slung and stiff that they're probably not used offensively, but maybe could be swept low to trip an opponent? Passive Abilities: Toxicity: All kaiju have an ammonia based biology, and their blood is laced with a toxic acid called 'Kaiju Blue', which is highly lethal to humans, and possibly other carbon-based lifeforms. The acid itself can break down concrete or metal, but only over a prolonged period of time. Contact with the fluid can kill a human within at least an hour [based on the graphic novel], though the actual time before the victim dies after exposure probably depends on the toxicity level. It appears that the Kaiju Blue agent can be removed or neutralized, allowing safe contact with deceased Kaiju tissue. Mutavore has an unknown toxicity rating. Strengths: A Kaiju brimming with weapons... nuff said! Weaknesses: Other than the blades, pretty average in design, and not very tough, apparently. Appearance: ![]() Personality: Didn't last very long in battle, so I guess Mutavore isn't a very good Kaiju to use when fighting a Jaeger! Mutavore appears to charge at his opponent, and keeps trying to close the distance, whether this strategy works or not; in other words... this guy's pretty dumb! “Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy. They do not attack people because they want to, but because of their size and strength, mankind has no other choice but to defend himself. After several stories such as this, people end up having a kind of affection for the monsters. They end up caring about them.” Ishirô Honda, director of the original Godzilla film... | |
