  • The FFKT, Realm of Expressive Imagination, and RPG categories have been condensed into one category known as Member Creativity. That should de-clutter the main index a bit to make it easier for people to navigate.
  • 7.7.17

  • Due to Photobucket wanting a bulk payment of $400 a year to host images with no other payment options, we are currently looking for another site to host our forum graphics. We appreciate your patience until this process is over.

  • Kaiju Section is going through an overhaul again. We'll be splitting it back into franchises, since not all franchises have the Godzilla series' Showa/Heisei/Millennium split.
  • Check out and vote in our poll in the Kaiju Galaxy Forum section regarding whether we should add a section for the Kamen Rider franchise!

Striker Eureka; Mark V Pacific Rim Jaeger

    Ultra Kaiju Master
    Classification: Australian Fifth-generation Mecha
    Alignment: Good
Height: 250 Feet [Roughly 76 Meters]
    Weight: 1,850 Tons

    Offensive Abilities:
Sting-blades: Each arm comes equipped with a pair of retractable, carbon nanotube blades, designed to channel thermal energy into the blades to easily slice through the thickest of Kaiju hides, while minimizing caustic blood splatter.

4211 "Brass Knuckles": Ion charged armor on Striker's fists enhance the damage delivered with every punch. Not sure they're actually used, but Striker Eureka did seem able to damage a Kaiju's head pretty quickly using only its fists.

AKM Chest launcher: Striker's chest plate can open up, allowing it to unleash a volley of anti-Kaiju K-Stunner missles, which are actually strong enough to take down a Category IV with one volley [probably all Striker Eureka has.]
EDIT: Discovered that Striker Eureka has eighteen K-Stunner missles in its chest.

    Passive Abilities:
T-16 Angel Wings: a pair of 'wings' on Striker's back are supposed to provied aerodynamic support during combat. It's also likely that Striker Eureka has thrusters on its back, like Gipsy Danger and Crimson Typhoon.

Strengths: The most advanced, strongest, and most agile of Jaegers... Striker Eureka's 10 Kaiju kills proves this! Probably the only Jaeger that can kill a Kaiju from a safe distance.
Weaknesses: A little too well geared towards offense, lacking a close-range defense, and its ultimate weapon may be a one-shot wonder. Also can be knocked offline by powerful EMPs.
EDIT: Turns out that the anti-Kaiju missles are not a one hit wonder!
    Appearance:
    Posted Image

Personality: Striker Eureka is a brawler, engineered to be the best Kaiju-slayer around. It goes in, pummels its foe faster than they can react, then moves back to finish its opponent with the Six Shooter attack. Striker Eureka has left more brocken Kaiju corpses in its wake than any other Jaeger, and its pilots have no intention of letting this winning streak come to an end!

“Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy. They do not attack people because they want to, but because of their size and strength, mankind has no other choice but to defend himself. After several stories such as this, people end up having a kind of affection for the monsters. They end up caring about them.”

Ishirô Honda, director of the original Godzilla film...
