The Humans![]() An overall race that dominates the kingdom of Ascalon. (Considering they -built- Ascalon) These men and women are known to be the jack of all trades, though never -exceling- in a specific area. They try to balance themselves as much as they can, but have also been known to break off from balance and chase after a specific skill. (( Eastern Human = Asian/Middle eastern type. Western = European type. Northern = Nordic Type. Southern = Spanish/Italian type. )) The Dwarves ![]() A small and incredibly sturdy race. The dwarves are known for their incredible mining and crafting skills, which has made them a close ally to Ascalon for warring purposes. It's been said that magic is hindered to many dwarves, but history shows that there has indeed been several dwarves mastering the art of magic. Though, these magi-dwarves gave up their skills in close combat and smithing in order to pursure their mastery. The Tieflings ![]() The Tieflings are a race of half-demons. -- And taking the demon war that has been raging on for near two-decades, these creatures are highly frowned upon in society. They're seen as monsters and often seclude themselves from society or disguise themselves. They tend to pursue magic or subtle combat, but many of them make excellent tacticians with some basic to expert close combat skills. ((Playing a Tiefling can be rather risky. Though, you may not run into angry pitch fork mobs all the time, you may end up finding someone who is accepting. Just know that you're half-demon. You can -never- hide your horns until they are covered. These aren't succubi, either. )) The Tauren ![]() The Tauren are a tall race of anthro bulls or buffalo. They are generally a peace-loving race that hails from different tribes. (( Tribe = Surname. Ex. Cairn Bloodhoof )) They follow the ways of the Earthmother and cherish nature. They were one of the few races that were not effected by nature's wrath, but were un-doubtedly over-ran by the demon hordes. Much like all the other races, they come to Ascalon to seek refuge. The Elven Races ![]() There are many breeds across the world of theses elves. The proud and magically attuned high elves. The mysterious and intelligent dark elves and the quick and agile wood elves. Much like the other races, they were over-ran by the demon threat and nature's wrath (except for the wood elves.) (( Any other breed of elf must be specified in detail on the application. )) The Dragonborn ![]() The Dragonborn are hulking dragon anthros spawned from the eggs of dragons themselves. (No, they aren't half-dragon half-human.) They are a dying race in the world and are an incredible sight to be seen, that is -- -if- you see them. They have incredible strength along with the ability to pursue magic. A force to be reckoned with. (( Dragonborn are -never- allowed to have wings. Also, what you see is what you get in this picture. We don't want any humans with dragon tails. )) (( Gotta' go. I'll finish up in a bit. Mods, please feel free to add a bit! -cough- Sato. -Cough- )) |

Dragonborn have the capability to acheive wings through detailed trianing throughout their life, also, if a character has already been accepted with wings, and roleplayed in a number of scenes with wings, will the wings have to be removed? Dragonborn are the spawn of Dragons, Dragons being infamous for being beasts who may fly. I beleive the incapability in order to fly would be ludicrous to invoke upon such a species. That is just my opinion, thanks. Luke |

I have a quick comment about Dragonborn, If you trained all your life, and talked to a mod about it and the mods agreed about the wings, I could see HAVING the wings, NOT being ABLE TO FLY, that would be absurd. |

Neko's just don't really fit the role play... Imagine a big seige, a massive army of armoured beings swarming against the demons... and in the midst of it all, a midget with a cat tail yelling "KAWAII!" as a battle cry. I could imagine something like a Khajitt from Elder Scrolls in S-MRP, but as we already have about 3 anthros I don't think that'll happen any time soon. |

Yea, I think that neko's attract too many fan girls. There will be all sorts of preening, boring ness "Kawaii" "Nyaa" and so forth. But I still think that there shiuld be more flexibility in the races. |
