We have been doing decent with Trout up river by the Submarine Cables slowly trolling a whole night-crawler behind the Watermelon Sling Blade Dodger. The key is very slow, .8 to 1.0 for nice Bows to 16". Also the South end of Wendy Gap to Rattlesnake for Kings and Kokes of average size for this time of year. An occasional 20" King can also be had and I have been using the R & R Tackle ladder back spoons with any black and blue on them, behind attractors or Sling Blades or naked. We have been trying rolled Shad with much less success. The Kokanee have been coming on white hoochies and pink Tomahawk spinners but, much harder to find quality fish. It's only getting hotter and the fish are going to be going deeper so clean up your Scotty's, clean the Lowrance screen and get out there and get you some! Edd |
