... What kind of bird would you be, and why? I gotta think about this for a little while (and I got to study), so I'll get on tomorrow and post mine. |

I'd be a penguin. A dancing penguin at that. Y'know. The ones you see in movies. |

NOT A BIRD. Anyway, as for me... probably one of the following birds: Barn Swallow. ~Are pretty, I like their coloration and shiny-ness. ~Typically have funny personalities; they make me laugh. ~Are very acrobatic fliers. ~I like the noise they make. ~Are soft to the touch, have lovely plumage. Crow ~I like how they look. ~Are intelligent/clever. ~Are fun to watch. ~I like how they sound. ~The babies sound like... just listen: Video 1, Video 2. IMO, they sound so funny, and yet so awesome. Ravens work too, for the same reasons as the crows more or less. Chimney Swifts ~Are totally bizarre looking; their heads look funny, have tiny beaks but GIANT mouths, etc. ~THEY HAVE THE SWEETEST FEET EVER ALLOWING THEM TO PERCH ON VERTICAL SURFACES. ~They, as babies, have spiky needle-like tail feathers ~Look messed up as babies ~They also make funny noises. Hawks and eagles are also amongst my highest choices, but I really like those other ones more. I think crow or raven would probably be my highest pick, though. |

Oh cummon, a Siberian Husky is SO a bird! I mean look, the wet nose, long fur, four legs, long tongue and perky ears, how could it NOT be a bird? |

I know what I would be! I would be any annoying bird that you can't shut up and when you think you quieted it it just starts again. (technically I am not sure which kind I would be but you can figure it out by what I said.). |

1. Birds do not have wet noses. 2. Birds have feathers, not fur. 3. Woodpeckers have long tongues, I'll give you that... 4. Bird ears are hard to see unless you pull back their feathers. NOT A BIRD. Starlings are annoying and loud. You can be a Starling. |

Fine, most people can already tell from the wet noses, fur, and pointy ears that the Siberian Husky is OBVIOUSLY a bird, but very well, here is proof: ![]() My point is proven. You can't argue with that^^ |

![]() WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! Although, that is a really cool pic. Looks more like a bluebird or something, not a blue jay. It has kind of an orangish belly, and blue jays don't have that. Also, the color/markings of the feathers isn't right. IDK for sure though. Hey DR, what is it? |

Uh, no. (Male) Northern Cardinal: Blue Jay: ![]() A fierce difference is their beaks. Compare them for a moment. They're significantly different. Their crests are kind of different, too. Cardinal's have a more distinct crest, from what I've seen when working with both birds, and the Cardinal has more control moving the crest up and down (I've had Cardinal's have their crest flat against their heads). They eat some different things too; jays are more like crows in that they scavenge a bit. In fact, Jays and crows are pretty closely related. Jays also tend to be nasty birds, whereas Cardinals... not so much. Oh yeah. Slightly different sizes/builds, too. |

Yeah. I actually have a cockatiel, and he's pretty cool. But, being far from creative with names, I couldn't think of an original one for him. I chose "Miles" as his name. My old rat's name was Sonic. See a pattern? I'm getting an echidna next. XD |

XD I had another guinea pig, two other gerbils, various fish, two other lizards, and hermit crabs, but I don't remember what I named them/brothers named them. XD; Kippy is the only one living at the moment. As of right now, I really want some kind of parrot or a domestic pigeon as a pet. XD |
