Welcome to the opportunity to look back towards the early times of America and think of Thanksgiving. Dang, they had a lot of food to eat. Anyways, have a Happy Thanksgiving, describe what you are thankful for (not required), and just plain discuss. I'm thankful for the internet, and a computer, to have access to sprite sheets, information, and watching subbed anime online without need for download (most of the time.) AND having some friends over the internet, and that I'm still alive. |

And the Macy's Parade rickroll, can't forget that. XD Yeah, I'm thankful for friends, family, and Skype. (Skype is only in there because I have grandparents on the west coast, while I'm on the east coast, and now we can video chat.) And the big dinner we had. With the pumpkin pie at the end.

My parents and I don't celebrate Thanksgiving for a number of personal reasons, but I wish everybody who does celebrate it a safe and happy break. |

You don't celebrate Thanksgiving, one of the three days that makes the store I work at close?! (Yeah, it only closes 3 times/year.) Wow... |

See? That's my problem with it. Most people only see Thanksgiving as one of the following things: • An opportunity to get out of school / work. • An opportunity to bring up old hatreds within the family, even though the holiday is supposed to be about seeing them again and being happy together. • An opportunity to shop until you drop. Literally, I heard of an employee in the Macy's in Cincinatti, OH who was KILLED because of a stampede of customers. Those are a few of my problems with the holiday, but the main one I won't share because it's too deep. |

My comment was kind of a joke. ^^U Besides, I didn't work on Thanksgiving whether it was a holiday or not. Family... *sighs* We didn't have anyone over this year... Shopping?! With those crowds?! Yeah, right! (And it was a Wal-Mart. 1 killed, 7 more injured, and the crowd actually broke the sliding doors down.) You don't have to share the main one, no pressure. And those others are good reasons. |
