Yugakure no Sato is a large ninja village made up of mercenary and rogue ninja from all over the land. Traders and vagabonds have set up shop and made the village their home, creating an economy, and prosperous village. The village was recreated from its ashes when Quass Debonair returned to it years ago. He took control and brought the village up from nothing, making it the headquarters of the Ata Akatsuki, and his warbase of operations.

Yugakure no Sato is located on the island in the middle of Steam Lake, a massive lake in the middle of Yu no Kuni. The temperature of the village is very high, the residents wearing special armor to accommodate the heat, or staying close to the city center, where a machine powered by wind chakra operates like a cold wind fan to keep the internal temperature down.

"So we are off to collect two targets today."

A voice spoke from a dark room. Saint stood just outside it, fidgeting his hands, going about each knuckle to crack and pop.

"Two targets eh? Whereabouts are they located? You better hope to god they are close together."

The Kamui replied. He looked up now, nodding towards the man exiting the dark room. A very large man strolled out. He held a skull mask, tossing it to another who stoof behind Saint.

"The first is an individual in Sunagakure. Goujian Yue."

Quass Debonair kept his chin high as ninja wearing the skull masks took point behind him. The two larger men strolled down the halls of the main building in Yugakure together, followed by more and more ninja joining them as the continued on.

"Goujian? The Mountain Breaker? He is a proud man. May be hard to get him to join our cause."

Quass stopped. The legion of followers they now had behind them stopping at once as well. He looked to Saint who kept on walking before slowing to a halt as well. He turned slowly to the Ata Akatsuki leader.

"Goujian Yue is a man that values strength. He loves nothing more than power. I believe you two share very much the same values, Saint. That is why he would be an asset to our organization. Like you, Goujian has no use for the weak. With that fact known, you should understand his motivation for joining us. Elimination of the weak. This world belongs to the strong. Not only will he help us make that a reality, he will do it with mustard."

"With mustard?"

"With. Mustard. Do not make me repeat myself."

Saint shrugged the last comment off as the duo started their advance outside into the main of the village. The two lines of soldiers following, marching perfectly matched behind.

"So... What about this second individual. You said there was two."

"Ah yes. Once we have Goujian Yue, you will be in charge of bringing him back here, and briefing him on our plans. I will be advancing on Konohagakure for someone. Hawashi Nashiki."

"The boy? Is he not young and inexperienced? There are many others in Konoha who are much stronger than this... Kid."

Saint was taken aback slightly. All he knows of this boy is that he was recently promoted up to Jounin through some form of task, and was capable of utilizing the Explosion Release, something Saint himself had just come into possession of.

"That is the thing, Saint. Hawashi is young and impressionable. The others that rival, or exceed his strength in Konohagakure are all Hokage loyalists. They all have close ties to the top, making them most likely to not join our cause. Hawashi though, is new to the power hierarchy. He may be the most impressionable one there. Someone we can mold and shape. He went to the Sky in order to gain power, and gain power he did. If offered another opportunity to gain power, I can see him very potentially taking it."

Quass explained to his second in command. The two began marching again. They continued towards the village gates. The gates in which a large ferry would transport them to the main land.

"Plus rumour is, Hawashi Nashiki is the one that killed Hidan for good. A feat not achieved by even the great Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi of the Sharingan, two legends of Konoha's past. That is power we need with us. Don't discount him because of his young age."

Saint shrugged at the Debonair's words as they boarded the ferry, their small army joining. It was time to set off for Sunagakure no Sato. Arriving, the assault on the village would begin.

Goujian Yue had arrived to Yugakure and had immediately taken himself to a nearby gambling den. The drinks were free and the air was cool, not to mention the women. On top of that, he was a few hundred dollars up.

"I'm cashing out gents. Gonna go take in the rest of the village."

Goujian collected his winnings and stepped outside. He had a light buzz from the alcohol and the heat here... oh my god! It was similar to back home but instead of a dry heat, it was a fucking sauna. Goujian walked down to the market place, taking a look at the wares, the fish and game in particular.

He wasn't necessarily hungry, but knowing the local game and fauna would help him out if he was out here in the wilderness sometime. There was no better way to get an abridged version of the lands natural 'wares' than by browsing the local market.

The goods were pretty similar, likely imported from nearby villages. Various spices, seasonings, and cloth. Nothing particularly interesting for Goujian. The place seemed pretty comfortable though. He could definitely get along here once he acclimated to the humidity.

"So, Goujian? What do you think of the village we have made?"

Saint asked the large ex-Sunagakure ninja as he came up beside him. He noticed the big man's pockets a little larger than when he had last seen him. A good sign of fortune.

"Now that you have a good taste for our way of life, why don't I bring you to the... Head office. Show you what the Ataakatsuki is about?"

The Kamui signaled towards the massive building they were walking upon. It was time he could show Goujian of the forbidden jutsu that he and Quass had developed to strengthen and control people, as well as reveal the plans the organization had for the world.

Goujian nodded as Saint directed him towards the head office. It was about that time he reckoned.

"Yeah yeah, I guess the time for fun is over for now. Gotta mix some business in eventually. The village itself is pretty great. The humidity though... it'll take some getying used to."

Goujian approached the large building, the central headquarters. He paused as he touched the door, stopping for a minute. Everything seemed to be going too well. His instincts were conflicted by the dream before him and the constant nagging suspicions he always had.

Something felt off, only something small... like a grain of sand between the toes... Goujian took another look around. This was a moment where he was making a last decision... for better or worse there would be no turning back once he passed this threshold into the building.

Goujian scoffed and entered the building, following Saint. He had lived too damn long maybe. The wars, the battles, sometimes they got to him a bit. He just had to shake it off and proceed.

Saint kept his eyes on Goujian as the man seemed sort of... off. He had been gung ho up until this point, though he looked hesitant. That all seemed to go away in a hurry as he followed into the building. Saint would be mindful to keep an eye on the former Sunagakure ninja. Obviously he was not going to trust him right off the bat. Especially with this behaviour surfacing.

Stepping into the open interior of the building, a massive stone ovan was in the circle. Glyphs and outcrops jutted out in different places. Saint remained silent as he lead Goujian Yue, circling the massive stone until they seemed to reach the front.

"I gather that you have found yourself to recognize what this is."

The Kamui opened his arms, presenting it. A massive mouth that was closed was shoulder high on the Yugakure shinobi. Above it sat 9 eyes, 7 of which were closed. Two were open, black smoke being emitted from them.

"The Gedo Mazo. Legendary tool of the Sage of Six Path's and the former Akatsuki, Nagato. We have managed to locate it, though this is the form it is in at the moment. It is the source of most of our power and influence. It's dark jutsu being able to cast a hold on people."

Saint stopped so that Goujian could take it all in. No matter how old you were, and what you have been through in your life, seeing something of this magnitude was usually one of two things. Terrifying, or inspiring. Or both.

Goujian stepped into the room, looking at the jutsu seals all around the walls. Interesting set up here. There must have been something they needed to keep... His eyes locked on the magnificent Gedo Mazo. Goujian couldn't help his jaw dropping in awe at the sight before him.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT... HOW... Wha-?"

Goujian found his head spinning, reeling at the raw majesty of what he was seeing. On top of that... two of the eyes were active. Had they already captured two bijuu? That was an incredible feat already. Maybe...

"You know Saint... I had some lingering doubts about your organization... OUR organization. The end goal... a world of the strong lead by the strongest... It sounds great and you two are definitely powerful shinobi. But a handful of strong shinobi causing a ruckus would only unify villages against us. But... this... THIS changes everything."

Goujian had not broke eye contact with the great Gedo Mazo. He ran a hand through his hair, a little overwhelmed by it all.

"You know, I think we can actually pull this off. The kage aren't what they used to be after all. Except for the Hokage. The guy is a freak of nature compared to all of the other kage."

Goujian found himself rambling a little bit, like a kid before their favorite superhero. He had only ever seen pictures drawn of the Gedo Mazo statue, an instrument utilized by Nagato and created by the great Sage of Six Paths himself. With this... even the Hokage, the so called 'God of Shinobi' Natsuo, would have to bow before them.

"Do not underestimate any of the Kage, Goujian. In the world we seek, we will the strongest to lead the strong. Yet in the villages, the strongest still lead the weak. Sure there are some unproven leaders. Tagashi, A, and Natsuo have cemented their place. Sakumo and Nami are still relatively untested. This will be no light feat by itself. We definitely have challenges ahead."

Saint spoke. He normally shared the arrogance displayed by Goujian Yue. Boasting his absolute power and abilities above anything else. But this was different. This was the idea of crushing the known superpowers of the world.

"We still have more members to pick up. If you know of any hidden powerhouses, now would be the time to share your knowledge."

Saint and Quass certainly had ideals and hookups. But truly, any knowledge on other strengths to be added would be accepted.

"The market in Konoha is tapped. Quass is heading there now for a brand new power that seems to have sprouted there. Some boy hailing from the Nashiki clan. What a Nashiki has to do with power, I will forever not understand. The rest of the shinobi in Konoha seem to be dangerously loyal to Natsuo. They will be our main threat."

Konohagakure had the most notable names in the ninja world today. Natsuo seemed to have an iron grip upon his people. Whether it was adoration or influence, he had loyalists that would die for him.

"The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist are a target of ours too. Their affiliation with Tatsudoshi will be a roadblock... But the power we may offer the likes of Iyashii or the recently resurfaced Kerai may tempt them to join us. We also intend to breach Iwagakure for they hold the Four tails."

She was young however... They could mold her...

"Kumogakure has two ninja we have our eyes on as well. The Nibi resides somewhere in the mountains there, disgraced as a ninja, as well as some unknown power. Quass has yet to tell me of who this second shinobi is, but he is apparently very powerful."

Those were the notable ones he wished to share for now. Hopefully Goujian may have some ideas as to where they could head to as well. Once the details of their recruitment became ironed out, he could speak with him of the Ataakatsuki's true goals.

Goujian nodded as he acknowledged the strength of the kage. It was true they had to be seen as a threat, but his own arrogance left Goujian feeling... meh.... about the situation. Natsuo was really the only one he saw as a threat from what he saw on paper. The topic shifted however, to recruitment.

Goujian crossed his arms, flexing a little out of reflex to show off his 'guns' to nobody in particular. The duo seemed to have a good lead on a couple of powerful people, including two jinchuuriki. The mention of the 4 tails caused Goujian to roll his eyes a little. The nibi he didn't know, but he had just returned from a long mission that took him directly through the land of Iwagakure and the 4 tails was a complete idiot of a little girl, probably gonna get herself killed one day. Still, the bijuu could have its uses, Goujian looking up at the Gedo Mazo.

"Konoha Nashiki? Uh... what's his face... mmm.... damn it... Oh, Hawashi? Quass is wasting his time. The dude is a complete idiot with some kind of mental disability. Even if he agreed to join us, he would literally be a hindrance in combat. There is a rumor that he killed some kind of reincarnated Hidan in Konoha, but it had to have been a fluke. He doesn't have the mental capacity to be strong."

Goujian seemed to be in a state of disbelief that Quass would waste his time on Hawashi. He only knew of him by reputation, and that reputation was that he was a buffoon... or maybe an actual baboon...

"Do I know of any hidden... Well, there are a couple actually. Speaking of the swordsmen, there is a samurai in the land of Iron, Suicune."

Goujian pulled his bingo book from the inside of his sleeveless jacket and flipped through a few pages before showing the guys profile to Saint.

"Suicune is a fierce swordsman, probably stronger than any of those washed up Kirigakure-nin. Then there is Kairi Nashiki, who unlike her fellow clansman, is actually a clever but extremely skilled shinobi. She has been crucible champion for years. It's a kind of... like... a tournament where you don't kill your opponents to see who is strongest. She showed some pretty incredible jutsu skills at the last one from what I hear. I doubt she is too loyal to her village too. She refuses to take a team and mostly keeps to herself."

He didn't have her in his bingo book as she wasn't really a bounty hunter or anything. More like a mountain hermit or something. Goujian took another look through his bingo book, stopping at a page that had the corner folded over to mark it. It had actually been one of the next bountys he had intended to take.

"Now... if you are looking for some unique abilities and combat prowess.... there is an island of people who have a kind of... eh... reverse... makuton I guess. They corrupt nature and life energy. Oraz Tyedi of Haha Island. He was in my bingo book and was gonna be the next bounty I took before I decided to join up with you guys."

Goujian put his bingo book away, making sure to keep that corner folded. He looked up at the ceiling for a moment, thinking about anything and anyone he had encountered that might prove useful. He had mentioned If he was interested in the 4 tails as weak as she was, it was either just for the bijuu or to train the jinchuuriki which was a very good possibility. Goujian gave a sideways glance at Saint Kamui, a grin spreading over his face.

"You know, when I passed through Iwagakure headed home from my last mission, there was a boy there who had, if rumors hold true, inherited gravity release ninjutsu. If we could train him, that could be a very VERY valuable asset to our organization. Maybe when we go pick up the 4-tails, we could look into it further."

Goujian thought about having two giant moons crashing into their enemies. That would essentially be game over on a massive scale for most villages. That kind of power was tantalizing for sure.

"No rumor. Hidan was our doing. This statue... Gedo Mazo is our tool to control people. We had used it to place agents in Konohagakure. They met with some resistance from a shinobi team. They succeeded in bringing Hidan back however... That Nashiki kid. He somehow not only beat Hidan, but left him without a trace. There is no signature of Hidan left. Nothing. Whatever that Nashiki boy... Hawashi did, was a feat no one had been able to do before him."

Saint commented. He certainly could have been the one to do it, as could Goujian, Quass, or any of the strongest of the ninja in this world. But Hawashi... he was unknown until this event. He had been rumoured to have come back from the Sky Country, a land inaccessible to anyone with some power to him. And whatever that power was, Quass wanted it.

The Kamui then listened intently to Goujian. Suicune?

"Aye, I knew we were right to bring you on. We had not considered the Land of Iron at all... Although being a samurai, they have their morals and codes. It may be a task to have someone like that join us."

Indeed the samurai were a hardy bunch. It is said that if a samurai and shinobi of the same level faced off, the samurai would come out victorious in the opening move. Having one of their ranks would be a huge boost.

"Another Nashiki? What an odd occurrence. Up until now, they were a clan of unnotable shinobi... And now two have popped up to have incredible abilities. Maybe we can give this... Kairi a visit when we venture to Kumogakure. She certainly sounds promising with this information you have given me."

The Tyedi. Ah yes. The keepers of Haha Island, and Harigakure no Sato. Harigakure... A village said to be created out of black crystal, a technique of the Tsuchikage. Sakumo Trinity had recently added Haha Island to the country of Tsuchi no Kuni, a very powerful military move, due to their now bases in the north, as well as south.

"My knowledge of the Tyedi is limited. As far as I know, they use purification jutsu... But if there is a band of them that can cause organic decay, that is a very interesting idea."

And one last mention from Goujian. Gravity... In Iwagakure? Now THAT was interesting...

How could a shinobi of the Rock have inhereted Gravity.... There was no way. Well, it was interesting to look in to.

"These are all very good leads. I knew bringing you on was a great choice, Goujian. Not just for your sheer power and abilities... But your information. You have traveled the land just as much as the rest of us, and your information is what will get us far."

Saint finished. A good roster if they were able to set all these up... A world dominating roster.
