While looking for a picture of the kiro headband, I came across some of my recolors that I have done. They're basically pokemon sprites recolored or mixed to create different looking pokemon. I enjoy doing these, and I may do a few more today to see if I still can. Here are a few of my favorites that i've done.

Thanks Rayne! I'm going to make a seperate picture of each step I take when I do a recoloring. For this, I'm using Steelix and Scizor.

Between Step 4 and Step 5, I realized I made a mistake with the coloring of Scizor, so I used the previous steps to redo the coloring for Step 5.

Step 7 shows the final touches of changing the red border of Scizor to the border from Steelix

Voila! Steel Scizor

I just use paint, but I think photoshop is a little easier when morphing them together.

If you know the basics of paint, along with the use of the eyedroper and the secondary use of the eraser, you can do it.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html - that site has every pokemon sprite, though its easier to use the D/P set.
