Motohisa had been stood outside the city for almost an hour before the guard had made his way back. He was sweating profusely and panting heavily. He eventually managed to catch his breath and spoke to Motohisa. "The honourable Hirtotada has stated that you can return to his hall to pass on your message. You must be alone and must go now, he is waiting for your return. Come with me." The guard turned back towards the city and set off towards the castle at a much slower pace this time. |

The market was busy and the town of Mikawa had grown into a large city. There were many training grounds and sake dens and hovels and house’s and many guards standing in wooden towers over looking the settlement and keeping a eye on the people down below. Down by the market was a women with 3 children two boys and a girl. The mother of the children had long brown hair and blue eyes she was beautiful as cave full of diamonds . Alas her heart belonged to a man who was off fighting the Daimyo’s war. Her eldest (the boy) was walking along carrying a basket of fruit home, his mother and sisters behind him. As they neared their home the boy slipped on the wet ground and fell dropping the fruit and basket on the floor. The mother ran to his aid but stopped when a man held his hand out to the boy. Once the boy was up he then helped him pick up the fruit and basket . As the mother drew near she stopped and opened her mouth in surprise. She too dropped the shopping but she ran to the man arms open wide. The man turned round and smiled. “Its been a while my dear.” Said Aliete hugging his wife. |

Moonlight was beaming down on the camp of the rebels; however it was cleverly hidden from view by the forest. Creping through the forest, Wano approached his camp along with his daughter Fumika, two of his shadow samurai in their black robes, as well as a priest whose clothing had the large red dragon symbol on it. Scout’s spotted the arrival of the group but they did nothing, knowing them to be loyal friends. Silently, Wano entered the camp and began to walk into the commander’s dwelling along with the rest of the group. Unannounced, they all lined up side by side in front of the Yusei. Without waiting for an answer Wano coldly said “I know I see you little, you must excuse me for that as I have other lives I must pretend to live. I must also leave shortly, so let’s make this quick. My daughter is here before you; you must marry tonight and bed her. Also, my loyal Shadow samurai here shall guard both you and her with their lives once the ceremony is complete. I am sure you now know my reason for bringing this monk along. “ Wano’s face was still completely masked by his hood and the shadows created by it. Finally changing from his normal dull and cold or completely emotionless tone, Wano then proceeded to more light heatedly reply “then tomorrow I shall arrive again to discuss how I shall fit into this battle you have had planned, I shall also provide some more equipment. If you have any other requests I shall be more than happy to oblige you if they are within my power, so I suggest you tell me tonight.” He gestured towards Fumika and his tone became surprisingly cheerful “I am sure she shall make an excellent bride, she has been educated how to please men and has a body that is perfect for raising children, nice wide hips and the childbearing will be easy. Don’t expect good advice from her however, but surely you should be wise enough to not need any, I hope at least for all of our sakes.” The last comment Wano made was once again in his normal emotionless tone. Staring at Yusei, Wano waited for a response. |

Yusei had stood up out of his seat. His eyes heavy implying countless days of exhaustion and constant thinking. He dropped his brush and rolled up a wrinkled scroll that spanned the whole makeshift desk he sat at. He turned and handed the scroll to a messenger, with a quick nod the man ran off. With a swift turn he was gazing over Wano, his eyes motionless, as if fixated on the man. The darkness of Wano's face had absorbed the light of the tent, bringing an eerie feeling in the space. "Wano-sama, it is indeed a pleasure to see you, I apologize for my messy appearance, as I have been wracking my brains on the battle plans. The scroll you have seen has the written instructions for our officers and Raion-sama to review. Now, to matters of this wedding, since it is part of the deal I shall not break my vow to you and we will marry. She seems a good bride, if I can trust your word. I shall make haste to prepare, as the troops will need some happiness to share with each other before the battle, and the solemnity of a wedding shall do the trick." He closed his eyes for a second to rest, awaiting Wano's response at the same time. |

Nodding at Yesei’s response Wano emotionlessly replied “good, we should prepare soon as I have little time and must leave shortly. For the ceremony to take place all we need is for the monk to bless the area. Meanwhile, I recommend we gather all the men who are currently awake and wish to watch. I can see you are tired, and I suggest you rest after the wedding, with your new wife next to you. Tomorrow we have time to talk of war, but today we see my daughter married and celebrate this happy day, I know that she herself is very excited. I request to have a word with her before the wedding, we have no gifts prepared but my support in your war is our wedding gift to you, and victory in the war should be your gift to Fumika. “Wano left, with Fumika and the two guards behind him. Meanwhile the monk began to say prayers and bless the nearby area, leaving Yusei to himself to make the required preparations. |

Yusei nodded and went straight away to get ready. He had cleaned himself and gotten into his best kimono, rather lazily. He stepped out into the cool night, his body chilled with the wind as it flowed through him. Black Samurai stood at attention, others were sleeping, and others were ignoring him. One of the people ignoring him shouted out,"Yusei, we haven't heard word from you in days, I knew you would ignore us. Someone way more competent should be in charge!" Out of the group two more yelled in agreement, some other heads started nodding as well. Yusei unsheathed his sword and held it in defensive position. The three men that challenged him drew their swords as well. Yusei tossed his sword into the air, grabbing and bestowing it towards the men saying,"If you believe yourself more honorable and strategical to be leader, then by all means cut me down now, if you truly believe that." The three men backed down after contemplating Yusei's words they grumbled and dropped to the ground. Yusei then spoke,"For anyone else that believes I am incapable of leading this rebellion speak out. For I have have brought you from death's door and have given you a reason for living. We strike in the name of Japan, unified, honorably unified as one! Now, let us celebrate for the battle with a wedding, a wedding you are all invited to." With that many men started to assemble waiting for the ceremony. |

Around about half an hour later, the monk had finished blessing the area. Seating themselves on the ground, the crowd that had gathered impatiently waited for their leader and his bride to appear. Standing at the bank, Wano too stood waiting. First, Yusei arrived, and stood before the monk. After waiting for a few minutes, Fumika slowly walked through the path through the centre of the crowds aprouching her soon to be husband. A mixture of doubt, fear and happiness was displayed across her face. A few tears trickled down her soft face, weather they were of happiness or sadness was anyone’s guess. Having arrived at Yusei’s side, she waited for the monk to say the holy words. After looking at the couple briefly, the monk began to speak “In the eyes of the gods and all of those here today, we marry these two people together so they can share their lives. They shall become family and treat each other’s family as their own. By being married, these two happy souls agree to remain faithful and loyal to each other until death. Any who object speak now, or forever remain silent.” After waiting a few seconds, the monk chuckled slightly before continuing “Good, I expected there would be none. The bride’s father has to leave shortly so we shall make this quicker than is traditional, the gods will understand our just reasons. I shall say a prayer to the gods and then confirm these two husbands and wife. Afterwards, any celebrations will occur and likely they shall share their first night together. “The monk proceeded to recite a short prayer to all of the gods before claiming Fumika and Yesei married. Instantly after the monk had finished, Wano hurriedly left the camp alone leaving the monk and the guards behind. Slowly, the newly married couple began to walk off, hand in hand as the monk was reciting a different prayer. “To all of you who witnessed this special event” the monk said after the couple had left and he had finished his prayer “you have seen a holy pledge. I encourage you all to allow the two to know each other and celebrate for them, make sure they are happy together. Your leader will likely produce an heir this night, and if not this night then likely a night shortly after. We shall have a full celebration of this holy event with all of the traditions after the battle has been fought and the war has been won, but this is enough for the gods to consider them partnered. Now, you fight not just for our honourable cause and your leader, but also for his wife, her family and for their unborn heir that shall shortly be created by the gods and carried by Fumika. Tonight, we celebrate. Soon, we fight. This innocent family, just like your own family, now release on you, do not disappoint them. For the Daimyo!” The crowd cheered and began to disperse to begin their celebrations. |

Isamu had stopped mid-way to Kyoto. The grass no longer green - rather, colored red. The blood of those who stood against an overwhelming enemy. Decaying Bodies - half eaten by crows - lay upon the cold, blood stained grassland. Weapons - encrusted with dry blood and flesh - scattered amongst what was once a war zone. A very morbid situation. Isamu stood atop a small raised part of the grassland, observing. Thinking. "Jajami. The people who died here had more numbers than us and yet, look what happened to them. They died in a vain attempt to oppose a tyrant! - Is this weak leader so low as to attack peasants? Misguided civilians who were tricked. Blinded. The Shogunate would never allow this! This is exactly why Hiratoda cannot be trusted!" "They're calling you a mad man, general. Even your previous apprentice has abandoned you and stayed loyal to the rebellion." Isamu turned his horse around - now facing the way they had just came - "Hmph. I'd expected as much. He never was very loyal nor was he strong - or at least as strong as I required. It doesn't matter anyway, apprentices are expandable. Raion certainly was." "I require blood to be spilled, Jajami. The blood of The Tokugawa. They'll pay for everything they've done! The thing is.... The Shogunate has already failed. He's as good as dead right now and beyond our help - we would be riding into a death trap. The only thing I- we can do is join with Yusei again. It would be nothing more than an alliance and by god I will not take orders from that incompetent fool! His anger blinds him and only revenge motivates him. He doesn't care what happens to Japan - as long as Hiratoda is dead Yusei is happy - then, he will just turn his back on Japan and leave it to rot. I refuse to let that happen." Jajami then turned his horse and faced the same way as Isamu; "I'm game. As you know, Isamu - I would follow you into hell itself if necessary." Isamu smiled. "Good because we may just be going there soon. Anyway, we have obtained some more men. I believe our numbers come to around 430? Good. My agents in Mikawa have told me the Security Council are bickering over what to do about our friends in the rebellion. They're nothing more than idiotic swines! Fools! Incompetent people who waste my time and try my patience!" "MEN! WE MARCH BACK TO THE BEACH. THERE WE ARE TO JOIN WITH THE REBELLION AS AN ALLY ONLY! YOU DO NOT FOLLOW YOUSEI - YOU FOLLOW ME ONLY AND NO ONE ELSE! AM I CLEAR?" Isamu's men cheered and the marched back to aid the rebellion in it's efforts against Mikawa. |
