"I must agree with this it seams wise and well thought out, as for the Governor I will use the coin and my friends to speak to him, but why would I be captured and imprisoned?"

"Oh, I now see your confusion. I meant on route to Mikawa after each patrol with cavalry, not to mikawa from Mikawa."

"you are confident and strong it seems. We have never met, and I have not heard of your renown, so my apologies if I made you sound weak. As for the matter of the money given to us by the daimyo, you will need the majority of it for your recruitment, and I have a decent amount of resources at my disposal, so please, take the bag."

"I shall go off and try my luck at recruitment as it is I can have over 3.5 hundred men here by noon tomorrow from my contacts at the many military training grounds in Tokugawa lands I shall set up a area for the recruiting and will hopefully have many more joining the cause"

"very well, I will travel to Omi, and await Shingen's reports. Oh, just one last thing."

Kenshin reaches into a pocket in his knapsack and takes out a vial, handing it to Icorisu.

"this is powerful snake poison. If you ever require a man to die in battle with no chance for error, use this. You may not appreciate the more... Shadowy aspects of war, keep it just in case"

With that, Kenshin bowed to Icorisu and Yoshihairo, walked out of the room, and stopped. He turned to his left flipped a koku at the guard he had threatened earlier and strode out of sight.

Icorisu sent a message out to Omi to see how things were faring and if Kenshin had found mercenary aid, and the message also was a summons

A few weeks after the security meeting, Kenshin was meditating on top of the tenshu of Omi when a pigeon landed near his feet. Picking the bird up, he unraveled the note attached to his leg. Upon finishing reading it, he stood up and jumped off of the roof, sliding down the rope attached to the roof. Upon landing he ran to his personal effects, grabbed a few rations and jumped on his horse. Moments later he was out of the castle gates, riding to Mikawa. Along the way, he sidetracked to several towns, calling upon allies. Those who owed him, those willing to fight for pay, and those extremely loyal to the daimyo. Within 3 days, 200 horsemen were traveling to Mikawa, expecting to arrive within a fortnight.

Icorisu had just come from the message stand having received messages from south shinano,Sagami, kaga and the yari yards in Mikawa when Kenshin walked in "My friend I just revived good news not only did I get the 400 men about one quarter samurai but they are sending their best trainers to give us the ability to within half a year each have more and more samurai our numbers swell daily" he waited to see how much success Kenshin had gained

"that is splendorous news" Kenshin said with a small smile "I have collected about 200 cavalrymen, mostly simple Yari cavalry, but they will serve well. Shingen reports the castle town in Iga is filled completely with Hattori, and that the relief force would not be sufficient to take it. Unfortunately, it appears a massive Hattori army attacked the relief force outside of Tamba, bringing Ieyasu into the fray outside of the castle. I am awaiting reports on their success."

No sooner had Kenshin said this when Daisuke walked in, holding a note. He hands it to Kenshin and whispers in his ear. Bowing to Icorisu, he leaves. Kenshin reads the note and proclaims

"after a bloody fight between both sides, the Hattori daimyo lies dead in the snow an Ieyasu prevails, but tam bas entire defense force will take several seasons to replenish."
