I thought that if Damo is doing one of the Original, then he should also do the sequel, which is better in several respects. The Companions are better, more variety on lightsabers, better character options, better storyline, just better overall in my opinion. But that's just me. |

IMO, Kotor 2 in not as good as Kotor 1. You will not see Tatooine or Kashyyk (I love those worlds)/ None of the worlds are like Taris(another great world). There is no pazaak or swoop racing either in the second one. |

It also begins at a snail's pace. That's why I can't bring myself to do repeat playthroughs... it takes FOREVER to get things in motion. Also, most of the villains have zero personality... and no, "but they symbolize stuff and crap" does not excuse them being flatter than pita. |

Too bad LucasArts rushed it out. It could've been so much better than KOTOR 1 but they had to cut so many ideas out. Why can't publishers realize that making quality games take time? |

Even if it wasn't rushed out, it still wouldn't have saved the game from the general writing flaws. Every Obsidian game I've played feels like it spends so much time focusing on characters that it completely fails to think about the overall plot, leaving me with a missing sense of accomplishment. The goal is clear with KOTOR: find the Star Forge and stop Malak, and when you do so, you feel victorious. I had NO idea what I was working towards in KOTOR 2 and when the end came, I just felt hollow. |

Does anything that you've done in KOTOR 1 carry over? |

Nope. You determine via early-on dialogue whether the first game's player-character was male or female and whether the light side or dark side ending happened. That's it. They even have the same fate - regardless of the ending, they vanish on an unknown trip to the uncharted regions of space. |

I think BioWare should make a KOTOR 3 and beyond. They have come so far with games like Mass Effect. Add in the dialogue system and better combat, make it so you can port your really old saves from KOTOR 1 and 2, and start fresh. I know they are focusing on SWTOR now and all, but they can keep SWTOR because that is an MMO and the stories are all personal to the player. KOTOR 3 can be done and it should. Besides, now that one of BioWare's big franchises is complete and the other has practically lost all fanbase with it's second game, having another single-player Star Wars game would be great. *sigh*...I can dream, right? |

Dream you can Lucazzy, and dream you should. Unfortunately BioWare won't see the profit in making another KOTOR when SWTOR is out there. Which is why, as cool as TOR looks, I was never excited about it. I don't do MMO's, and I knew that it would kill all chances of future KOTOR. At least for a good while. But you never know. |

I think it would have been cool if they allowed you to import your saved game from Kotor 1 in a way that Malek's actions would affect the Jedi Exile some way. |

You're not the only one dreaming. I loved the first two. I know the 2nd one had flaws, but it also made some improvements. I really think that Damo would like it. But that's just me. |

Why would you want to revisit worlds? Not to mention they were also present in the movies... Swoop racing and pazaak are present in the second game. You must have missed them. But the full reason I support a LP of K2 is because of the major restoration (patch) mod that was just released: TSLRCM. Long story short, LucasArts rushed the game to get an early release so the game lost a lot of content: side quests, areas, cut scenes, dialog, etc. The good thing is that the resources (voice over, textures and descriptions by the developers) were left in the game files. A group of modders took it upon them to restore it. Check the release notes: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/1448-tsl-restored-content-mod-18-released/ |

Woah, that sounds awesome. Too bad KOTOR 2 was rushed out, it had potential to be even better than the first, but this mod has potential as well. |
