I have played both Age of Empires 2 and 3 and I thoroughly enjoyed them both.

There are campaigns for both which would make very decent LP's.
As far as my knowledge goes you can still buy both of these games with expansion packs that go with them.

I think that these would be fun to watch and make a good LP as there are also skirmish available where you could play through a game but with a theme, i.e A certain country, or no foot soldiers.

This is just something I was thinking about and say if it is a good idea or not.

i anticipate you should. but use the the asian dynasties expansion. the interface is bigger than aoe 2, and if you fx buy assemblage it tells you what the units is acceptable at. the grafics ofc is aswell better. athough some baby things accept been afflicted (like abiding farms and no charge to get aback to tc evry 10 seconds) again it is still a acceptable abstraction to micro your eco, like hearding appear your city-limits makeing beasts as britan and chines, and all-embracing get ascendancy of resourses. like aoe 2.

I don't know about this. They are great Real Time Strategy games, but I don't think that they would make great stories. The reason why Damo's Total War LPs are great is that they are great for storytelling.

I agree with Brian. When I played Age of Empires 3, it was great fun but the story was already written out for you. What Damo does is play games where things that you do can change the story, or the story itself is left to you entirely. However, I do still think it'd be fun to watch.
