Borderlands is basically like Fallout in that it is an open world RPG but Borderlands takes itself much less seriously. I'm unsure if this would fit Damo's style but I might as well throw it out there. It also allows co-op so he could do a dual commentary if he wanted to. |

If it is anything like Borderlands 1 (which was awful), it seems unlikely Damo would play it. I understand what you mean when you say "it is like Fallout", although, in my opinion, it isn't anywhere near as good as Fallout. The storyline is the worst thing about it; there is nothing more annoying than going (continuously) throughout the same area doing small, insignificant and at times extremely boring missions for some asshole you probably wont even see again. I'm just going off my experience with Borderlands 1, however. I haven't played the second one and I've no intention of doing so. It would be wrong for me to call it a bad game without even playing it. |

Personally I preferred Borderlands to Fallout, biased view to some extent as I do have a PS3 and anything Bethesda related will perform crap on PS3 (at least for a few months). The story sucks, but I rarely play a game for the story. I rarely had to go through the same area as I would just have all the quests accepted. Borderlands 1 is a game which requires friends for it to be truly enjoyable (I have done a single player run and it wasn't near half as fun). Edit: apart from the rust commons area, that area got tedious pretty quickly. |
