The Species List. Note: These species are valid in the [LIF] RPG. Other RPG's may vary. Below, you will find a list of HUMANOID species. Beside that you will find if they have dominant DNA or submissive DNA. If you are bitten by a creature with dominant DNA, you will become half that creature. Example, if a human is bitten and takes in the blood of a werewolf, he will become a half-werewolf. Why? Because Werewolf DNA is stronger than human DNA! Note: You cannot have two dominant DNA strands. You must have one dominant and one submissive. If a vampire is bitten by a lycan, he/she STAYS a vampire. Dominant DNA strands do not mix. Note: For any mix to occur, the dominant strands blood MUST be taken into the submissive's body. Biting will not work. For a vampire to convert a human they must exchange blood. For a draconian to convert a human they must also exchange blood. Mythical Humanoids. Vampire, (Dominant) Lycan/Werewolf, (Dominant) Human, (Submissive) Neko, (Submissive) Elf, (Submissive) Mermaids, (Submissive) Draconians (Dominant) Demons (Dominant) Angelical (Dominant) Mythical Beasts. Mythical Beasts cannot be affected by the blood of the humanoid races. They remain what they are forever. However, Dragons can create Draconian humans by biting a human and swapping blood. [Human DNA - Submissive, Dragon - Dominant] Dragons [The only species that can mix human blood with their own] Phoenix Gryphons Sea/Wind Serpents Minotaurs Unicorns Hellhounds Pegasus Normal Beasts. Normal Beasts are ones found in the everyday world. Any normal creature is valid. Here are a few examples, Lions Tigers Panthers Wolves Eagles Bears War horses Common Questions about Mythical Beasts answered. Can a beast wear armour? Yes - if it is crafted and put on by a humanoid. The beast would then add 'armor plates' tag into their character's tags. Dragons have natural armor due to their tough scales. Can normal and mythical beasts be tamed by humanoids? Yes. But ONLY if the beast is willing to be tamed. A humanoid (let's say a mage) can tame a beast if he/she befriends it and the two of them can become 'companions'. Can I ride my companion as a mounted steed? Yes. The 'Forest Rider' tag is available to companions and masters if they are sufficiently close to each other. The creature must be sufficiently big enough to carry the weight of a human. Example: A gryphon can carry a human, but a common Eagle cannot. Can I have an NPC companion? Yes. But they cannot fight for you. They are only for company or for riding. You missed my species Stephen! Oh shoot. Sorry about that. If you reply to this thread, with your species and what they are then I'll add them into the list. So that's the species list. Again, any comments are welcome. |
