Chapter 1

Triasha Returns

It had been fifty long years of havoc and chaos that the fiend, Triasha, wreaked upon the world. Then he showed up, the Hero of Light, and banished him to the deepest reaches of Hell where it is said that he resides to this very day, or so they thought. They said that Triasha was at his most powerful form, yet they were about to be proved wrong again.

The date was July fourth, 10002, exactly three thousand years since Triasha killed Wantene. Sykoto had been rebuilt and the world restored, but at a cost. That cost was Kynoto, who sacrificed himself to restore the planet. As the inhabitants of this world partied, they awoke a great evil that should have been dormant for many more years and fate had, yet again, intervened on the side of darkness.

Down in Hell, they were finally getting around to Triasha’s trial, to see if he would be released, or imprisoned for all time. He had been stripped of all of his powers and his pride. As the guards led him into the courtroom, he felt the eyes of many demons, who had considered him their idol at some point, scornfully staring at him. As he was sat down in a chair on the left side of the court room, the judge said, his voice making Triasha feel as though every time he heard it that it drove a spike through his heart,

“We the court of Hel.., well you no where, has found you, Triasha, guilty of the destruction of the planet Earth and it has also found you guilty of killing over four billion people. We sentence you to the Pits!” As the guards took him from the room, Triasha asked one of them,

“Why do I sense people on the surface for? If what I was just convicted of is correct then they should not be there.” The guard on the left laughed a little then smiled and said,

“Your friend Kynoto, he sacrificed himself to restore the world.” Triasha was a little shocked by this news but as he realized what that meant it only made his angry. His death had been for nothing and moreover, the people he had died to destroy had been revived by the same man that had died to destroy him. As Triasha was brooding he felt something, like a tingle, in his left hand. He lifted it to see that there was blood on it; the guard on his left fell over, he was dead. The one on the right looked at Triasha in horror as he fell to the ground as well.

“What is going on?!” Triasha asked himself, “Is my body so keen to escape that it killed these people? But I know that I want out too, so why not feed that need….hehehehehe,” Triasha laughed insanely as he regained his lost power and then some. A group of guards had been dispatched to seal Triasha in his cell, but all they accomplished was to make the hallway a bit bloodier. Triasha then flew up into the black abyss, searching for a way out of his prison.

As a feast drew to a close, an elder gave a speech to a town about to relive its fate for the second time in its history. “My friends, the food has been good and the partying has been fun, but now is the time to mourn for the loss of our friends, family, lovers, and children. This town was destroyed many a year ago by that fiend and we must pray for the eternal damnation of his soul. Let Triasha rot in Hell for his sins!” Shouted the elder as the entire town repeated him. The elder was about to officially end the feast when the ground started to shake and twist; as if it was trying it’s hardest to keep what was about to happen from happening. It finally lost, though, and was split open, a man rose out of it but no one could tell who it was since the person was standing in a cloud of dust. The ground sealed itself up and lay dormant. Then a voice issued from the cloud that rendered the blood in the elder cold as ice as he realized who it was that had just appeared,

“Did someone just say my name?” A cold wind from the south came and blew the cloud away. Their stood Triasha, dressed in white, with his blood stained cape, his eyes now had a deadened look to them, his hair and arms were flecked with blood and his smile was no less then evil; the entire town screamed at once and it was silenced all at once. Triasha approached the elder and stole his soul. “Ahh, nice, fresh souls, how beautiful, it’s the second time I have destroyed this town, hahaha, what do you say to that Kynoto?” Triasha laughed sinisterly, “Now, where is that bastard Kynoto at, I have some unfinished business with him.”

Meanwhile, Kynoto was fighting with a group of angels as to what was happening down on Earth and what they should do about it.

“There is no way that he could have broken out of Hell, it’s just not possible, it’s too well guarded,” an angel by the name of Eldirel shouted. Kynoto replied, in a threatening tone,

“If you hadn’t been asleep you would have know what Triasha’s real power is, you dolt!”

“Eldirel, Kynoto is right. It is impossible to escape from Hell, but Trisha is one who could do it, he has enough power to and by the looks of it he has gained a level one hundred and fifty six demon ability to help him,” a beautiful female angel said as she stood by Kynoto, looking down on the happenings on Earth.

“What! Class one hundred and fifty six?! Why hadn’t anyone told me this?” Gabriel, the highest ranking angel, said shuddering at the thought of what was transpiring on the planet below; the restitution that Triasha was taking on this world for his banishment to Hell.

“We just found out ourselves, he sucked up the souls of that town that was rebuilt, Sykoto I believe was the name. What’s with you Kynoto?” Celestial asked Kynoto as he sighed.

“Well, it appears that town is destined to be destroyed some way or another,” he replied to the angel next to him. Gabriel nodded to some invisible voice and said to the angels around him,

“Looks like we have to sort this mess out. Somehow Triasha gained his powers back and broke out of Hell after he killed the guards. I know what you all are thinking ‘how did he kill guards that were already dead?’, but for that there is no answer save that Trisha has 10 times more power then he should, which leads me to believe that he can kill the living as well as the dead and un-dead. But that is beside the point. We have received an order to kill Triasha and to destroy his soul at all costs. I know that goes against our ways but those in Hell could not deal with him, so we must. Zonoto, Celestial, Mitch and Kynoto will be coming with me, the rest of you wait here, we might need backup, though I highly doubt it.” Inside Kynoto felt a burning rage, ‘why are they all underestimating him for?’ He thought to himself.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes....Or should I?

Chapter 2

Gabriel's Retreat

As Gabriel and his companions traveled towards Earth, Triasha continued his reign of terror. The small army consisted of Kynoto, Celestial, Mitch, Zonoto, and Gabriel. Of all of them, Zonoto was the strongest, or so they thought. As soon as they landed they saw the signs of Triashas’ doings. The followed the trail of carrion as it wound north.

“It looks as though Triasha has been very busy,” Gabriel said, looking upon the many bodies lying on the ground as they went through what had been a town. Then Celestial screamed. Several zombies had grabbed her. Kynoto yanked her free of them while Mitch and Zonoto dismantled them. Gabriel looked from north to south and said,

“Is he responsible for all of this death? I knew that he would seek revenge, but at this level, I have never seen anything like it.”

“This is his way of getting back at me for killing him. He won’t stop till every last living thing is dead, take my word for it,” Kynoto said, hate gleaming in his eyes. He did not like to see people suffering. Triasha lived for it tough, thus Triasha and h were completely opposite; one good one evil, yet Kynoto knew that, deep inside of him, that he held a darkness far greater then Triasha’s. There was a long silence between the group and was broken when Celestial asked,

“What type of plants are these? I haven’t seen them around here before.”

“They are called Kildregs’ Fang. They are extremely poisonous and will kill you if you even touch them.

“Ok then, Mr. Gabriel Lord of the Plants, how do you know this? You were always asleep during class back in the day,” Celestial sarcastically.

“They were in a book I read; “Plants of the Nether Realm,” Gabriel said. Through out the night they saw many unexplainable things; lizards the size of shoes, scorpions that were twenty times bigger then they should be, and strange plants and life forms that none of them had ever seen before.

“This must be the work of Triasha, how else would all of this have happened? So far, almost everything we have seen tonight has been poisonous; plants, animals, even clouds,” Kynoto said, amazed at the planets sudden change.

“Maybe he is doing more then stealing souls down here,” said Zonoto rather tensely as he saw the bee that flew by Mitch’s head; it was the size of a small dog and had a two meter long stinger.

“Lets get going before Triasha decides to mutate something bigger, like a bear or something,” Mitch said dodging the bee as it flew after him trying to sting him. Zonoto rushed over and crushed the bee in one sweep of his sword.

By dawn they had caught up with Triasha and had engaged him, or would have done so if that thing hadn’t attack Triasha first. As Triasha went around the globe, he was trying to cause a mass genocide and was replacing the humans with new life forms. One of these life forms had evolved since Triasha had created it and gained an intelligence that would have rivaled that of Albert Einstein if he were still alive. It nearly killed Triasha by morphing itself into an energy bazooka, shooting off a round at Triasha. This caught him by surprise and did a lot of damage to him. Now that Triasha was aware of this new threat, he smiled at the others and said, satisfaction permeating his voice,

“Now its time to use a new skill that I made while I was down in your comfortable accommodations, Kynoto.” He raised his arm and yelled, “Andromeda Blast!” Several yellowish orange balls shot from his outstretched hand and penetrated the creature. “This attack takes the red blood cells of the victim and turns then into microscopic bombs and then it explodes them causing the creature to implode. It’s a very nasty, yet satisfying, sight,” Trisha said as the creature exploded, its blood spilling across the ground in all directions. Triasha then turned to Gabriel and said scathingly

“Long time no see Gabriel. Do you still have that scar I gave you when we first met in Hell? Hahaha.” Gabriel looked away from Triasha and said to the rest of them,

“Kynoto and Zonoto stay here. The rest of us will retreat back behind that ridge.”

“Aw, running away are we Gabriel? Heh, you don’t have the guts to fight me face-to-face, no, you send your savior Kynoto and this big brute to do your dirty work,” Triasha said savagely. Gabriel ignored him and kept going. Once he gave the two remaining angels the go ahead, Zonoto flew at Triasha only to be thrown back by Triasha’s energy. He appeared in front of Zonoto and put his hand to his head as he smirked; Kynoto knew what he was going to do a split second before he did it. He had barely stopped Triasha from turning Zonoto into a zombie himself.

“Zonoto, go over to Gabriel, you are no match for him, just leave it to me,” Kynoto said, but for some reason Zonoto didn’t think that it was Kynoto speaking to him. There was something different about his eyes, a dark light shown in them that he had never seen before.

“What does he think he is doing?! That idiot, is he trying to get himself killed?” Gabriel asked as a vain popping out of his forehead from stress.

“He can take care of himself, he is a true warrior. Besides, that is not Kynoto out there; I think it might be Kynotoishi, since we know that he is part of Kynoto, maybe he can take control of Kynoto’s body at times when he deems it necessary,” Zonoto told the aghast listeners. Then a flash diverted their attention. Kynoto, or Kynotoishi as it had appeared to be, had drawn his sword and attack Triasha who had barely deflected the attack with his arm guard. Triasha jumped up and flew down diagonally as Kynotoishi dropped his guard and managed to kick his adversary away from him long enough so that he could unsheathe his sword.

“Heh, so you’re going to make this hard again, eh Triasha?” said the familiar voice. Triasha almost dropped his sword; he was not fighting Kynoto, it was Kynotoishi. Triasha now gained his composure and attacked Kynotoishi with a renew hatred. Eventually Kynotoishi overpowered Triasha who was forced to make a slight retreat.

“Hmm, you’re a bit stronger. Well so have I, heh. Dark Trianchu Blast!” Shouted Triasha. Kynotoishi was fearful of what this new form of Trianchu might be capable of. He found out when it hit him; it caused overwhelming pain in the attaché.

“Pain devourer!” yelped Kynotoishi, his voice tainted with pain, but this soon ended. The ability he had activated allowed him to absorb the pain itself and turn it into energy. “Now you get to see one of the skills that I learned from being an angel! Heavens’ Wrath!” He shouted. His sword began to glow and he floated above Triasha, who realized, to his horror, that he had been immobilized. Kynotoishi’s sword began to gather Trianchu particles at its tip and compressed them together to form a ball. Once the ball was the size of a basketball, Kynotoishi fell straight down; the sword tip entering Triasha’s left shoulder. The ball dispersed through out Triasha’s body and forced its self out of his body leaving many hole all over his body. Triasha fell to his knees, blood running out of the hole; creating a pool around him. Then he stood up and ushered,

“Grey Trianchu.” A red and black mist began to swirl around Triasha’s feet. It soon enveloped him in a shroud; Kynotoishi didn’t like the look of it, not one bit. Triasha emerged fully healed and stronger then ever.

“Hahaha, how do you like this Kynotoishi; this new power. I call it Grey Trianchu. It allows the user to heal anything, even if he is an inch from death, and the more sever the injury, the stronger the user becomes after he or she is healed,” Triasha smirked as he saw the dumfounded look on Kynotoishi’s face.

“Alright then, I didn’t wasn’t to do this, but you have left me no choice. Heavens’ Wrath times five!” Kynotoishi yelled as he regained his senses. Triasha was giving a new definition of pain. This attack wasn’t the one he had just experienced, no. It was much more powerful and caused much more damage. This he could not heal with Grey Trianchu alone. He disappeared in a wisp of black smoke as Gabriel looked upon the scene, completely stunned. Kynotoishi then passed out where he stood. The stress generated by the attack was unreal and it had taken its heavy tool on Kynotoishi as well as Kynoto. For now, Triasha had been quieted, and it was now more important to get Kynoto back to heaven so that he could recuperate.

Chapter 3

Kynoto's Fear

As Kynoto came awake he saw that many angels were gathered around him. Several of them Kynoto did not know.

“Gabriel, he has awakened,” said an orange haired angel standing on his left. Kynoto asked,

“How long have I been out?” He tried to sit up but the attempt was met with pain; his bones were stiff.

“Nearly two months,” Gabriel said passively looking gloomy about something. Kynoto picked up on this quite quickly and asked,

“What’s wrong?” Gabriel did not answer.

“Crystala, you don’t know her, was killed a few weeks ago by Triasha. What makes matters worse is that Gabriel blames himself for her death, since she was killed up here in Heaven,” Celestial said, now starting to sob between breaths. “She was my sister.”

“We don’t know how he got in either; we have a seal that covers every accessible point, and only the angels know the code to get in,” Mitch said, his voice trembling with fear and anger.

“Well I do,” Kynoto announced to the now quite room, “That day, when I saved Zonoto, Triasha was taking his mind at that time and I barely stopped him from turning Zonoto into a zombie, but I was a little too late; he is a half zombie. Don’t believe me? Go check his DNA, you’ll find a base pair that is decomposing.”

“Sir, we have the report here. It’s exactly as he said and we found the same condition in 3 other angels’ sir,” a guard said in disbelief about ten minutes later.

“Who are they?” Gabriel asked tonelessly. The guard replied,

“Ferdanan, Asdom, and Helix Sir.”

“Have them report to my office where they will be discharged,” Gabriel said, a bitter tone in his voice that made Kynoto wonder why he was taking all of this so personally.

“Yes Sir!” the guard saluted as he walked out of the room. Kynoto asked inquisitively,

“What was all that about?” Gabriel turned to him, showing no expression at all, like a soldier that would do any command given to him; a person without a soul, hallow and devoid of a personality.

“I have been promoted to General, and you have been promoted to Commander,” He said in the same toneless voice as he walked out of the room. Kynoto was stunned that he had been promoted from a nobody, just an angel, to commander after one battle.

Kynoto spent the rest of the day training as well as thinking. Kynotoishi could take over him at his own will even if Kynoto didn’t want him too. This bothered Kynoto, this Kynotoishi that was inside of him had become a second consciousness, meaning that it could take control of him permanently should Kynoto be killed. About noon Kynoto sought out Gabriel. It wasn’t hard to find him; Kynoto just followed the ‘Sir, yes Sir’s’ and they led him to Gabriel’s office eventually. As Kynoto walked in Gabriel said, barely looking up from his paperwork,

“What is it Commander?” Kynoto paused for a second then said, rather quietly,

“I need to speak to ‘him’,” Kynoto said as he pointed upwards.

“Oh, alright, I will take you there right now, I can do this later,” Gabriel said with a deadened voice.

As they ascended a large staircase, Gabriel asked Kynoto what business he had with ‘him’, Kynoto replied pensively,

“Well, I was wondering how I could get rid of Kynotoishi. If I were to die in battle, he would gain full control over my powers which, so far, he hasn’t been able to get a hold of. But if I were to die, then everyone would be in mortal danger. I might look scrawny, but I am powerful and what you saw was only a fraction of my power. He could not access it because I was blocking him from using it even though he would have been able to completely destroy Triasha.”

“Oh, I see. So this power could also destroy Heaven, Hell, and all in between. Then your cause is just, you may see ‘him’,” Gabriel said, his voice still blank; devoid of emotion. Then, as if a secret word had been said, a doorway opened behind them on a lower step. They entered and Gabriel stated loudly, “Sire, Kynoto is in need of answers and seeks your counsel.” His voice echoed off of the walls in the gigantic room. Mostly, it was made of marble and gold, but there was also some obsidian and graphite.

“Leave us for now Gabriel,” said a mysterious booming voice. “Now Kynoto, what seems to be troubling you?”

“Kynoto tried to reply but nothing came out, he cleared his throat and tried again, this time he spoke,

“I need to know something. If Kynotoishi can control me while I am awake, can’t he do it while asleep?”

“Ahh, Kynotoishi is it? I remember when he was up here, but something happened to him; something dreadful. I suppose it was the exposure to your power that drove him mad, but that is in the past. He is now a being of evil, therefore, you must do what you can to be rid of him, but this will not be an easy task. For one, you must have a person or thing that can steal a soul, second Kynotoishi must be in control, or you will be the one who gets taken. Can you solve my riddle Kynoto? I have heard that you are a smart young man,” the mysterious voice said.

“Smart yes, but young, no. I must be at least four thousand years old, but I look like I am 45 because of my Trianchu powers. Now, I need a soul-stealer and Kynotoishi must be out, so I would need…Triasha?!” Kynoto said surprisingly.

“Correct,” answered the voice. Kynoto rushed out to tell the others. As he came into the room, Celestial asked hesitantly,

“What is it Kynoto?”

“We need to find Triasha now!” Kynoto exclaimed.

Meanwhile back on Earth, Triasha was perfecting a new form of Trianchu.

“Ok, so blue controls time and read controls speed. Now if I combine them I get purple, which has both time and speed powers. Now, if I add more blue then red, I can manipulate it to control time and space. Then the red comes into play as it will allow me to go into the future or past and take something out of it before the rift closes. Aha! Got it, now to actually attempt it. Now, we splice this and add this here and change the code from this; infin=time+power; to this; 4=eventplane/speed=time+speed/criticalmass=ripoftime+time=speed. There, now it is complete. Now to test it, but I must be careful as this could easily destroy me,” Triasha said, a mad light gleaming in his eye. Then he tested out his new creation, the clone was almost perfect, except that it was weaker then it should be; it should have been equal or stronger. “Ahh, there is the problem, I need to inverse this…and there, all done,” Triasha muttered to himself. Then he retried the process and it was a success. He now had a clone of Kynotoishi; an evil one. “Hahaha, now its time to pay Kynoto a visit,” he said as he led the clone out of the cave and into the world.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes....Or should I?

Chapter 4

Triasha's Folly, Kynoto's Fatal Mistake

The next day, Gabriel rounded up the team, which consisted of Kynoto, Celestial, Mitch, Juno, and himself. As the made the preparations to go to the surface Celestial tried to talk Kynoto out of it.

“Will this really work?” Celestial asked nervously, “I mean what if something goes wrong?”

“That is why I was up all night perfecting some new moves, just in case that happened,” Kynoto said confidently.

“Besides Celestial, nothing will go wrong because it has been well established that Kynotoishi will come out,” Gabriel said incisively. Celestial calmed down a little and regained her composure. Then they were ready to go. Once they reached the surface, Kynoto felt Triasha heading straight for them, he also felt Kynotoishi take over him. Triasha appeared from over the hill and was soon standing in front of the group. He had a smug look on his face that didn’t sit well with Gabriel.

“Ahh, come to see your comrade fall have you? Well we shan’t disappoint you,” Triasha said, his grin broadening to a smile.

“What do you mean we, Triasha? Have you got a Gundrake in your pocket or something?” asked Kynotoishi suspiciously.

“Ahh, ‘tis the man of the hour no doubt, heh. Well, no, I won’t tell you, I’ll show you instead,” Triasha said, shaking with mirth. There was a purple flash and then all went silent; everyone got tense. Standing before them was an almost exact copy of Kynotoishi; much stronger and faster then the real Kynotoishi.

“What devilry is this?!” Gabriel asked, stepping back from Triasha cautiously.

“Well, you see, this is the result of purple Trianchu; a fusion of red and blue; a fusion of speed and time Trianchu. It allows me to go forward to the future or back to the past and take one thing, usually the person you want to clone, back with you but it makes the clone stronger then the original. Alas, it has its bad points. If not done correctly, it can rip you body apart,” Triasha said, satisfaction ringing in his voice. “Now, let’s begin shall we?” Triasha said as the clone riveted Kynotoishi with a punch that came from everywhere at once. He fell to the ground; half stunned. He looked up to see Triasha looming overhead, his hand stretched out, ready to steal his soul.

“Heh, good bye old friend,” Triasha said sarcastically as he stole the sole of the only person who could stop him. “Now to take the rest of the trash out,” he said as he turned to the others, “now whom should I kill first?”

“How about yourself Triasha,” came a voice from behind him. Triasha sprang around to see Kynotoishi back on his feet.

“But I just…you’re dead…I stole your soul,” Triasha stammered.

“Yes, you stole Kynotoishi’s soul, but I am Kynoto,” Kynoto said as he drew his sword. “Now, let’s settle this shall we?” Triasha smirked and said,

“Ahh, Kynoto, just the man I wanted to see. While you were cozy and smug up in your paradise,” Triasha paused and looked upwards, “I was in a living hell, literally, and if it weren’t for your insolence, I would still be down there. So I wish to thank you by giving you the same chance,” Triasha said sinisterly as the clone advanced on Kynoto. Kynoto knew how strong it was from its encounter with Kynotoishi and was ready for it…almost. The clone was much faster then Kynoto had expected. It vanished then appeared behind him dealing a killing blow to the base of his neck, sending him flying into the ground. As he stood up ha massaged his neck as he said dryly,

“Quite a tough one you have their Triasha. I commend you on your creation, but it won’t last long, not against me,” Kynoto said as he raised his power to match the clones. He held the sword out in front of him and with a quick thrust he had impaled the clone on it. Triasha tried to rush Kynoto, but he was blow back by an orb of Trianchu from Kynoto’s sword. Once he had stopped Triasha, Kynoto lifted the sword and clone above his head. He flew upwards about twenty meters then turned around. Aiming for Triasha, he soared back to the ground. The sword hummed as the air whizzed by it as it sprouted sharp hook-like protrusions. As the sword slammed into the ground, through Trisha, the clone was thrown into the spikes and was completely shredded by them. Triasha looked on in amazement as what was left of the clone slid from the sword. Triasha had sustained some minor injuries, mainly a big hole in his stomach. He sat up as his vision blurred and started coughing up large amounts of blood.

“Damn, I didn’t want to use this now, but you have left me no choice. Healing Trianchu; Grey Mist!” Triasha wheezed as he fell back to the ground, breathing heavily. A mist now was enshrouding him, healing his wounds as it covered his body. Soon the mist cleared off revealing that the hole was gone. Kynoto was lost for words. “Ahh, that is much better. Now, where were we, ah yes, it’s my turn now. It is time to show the fly what he exactly is,” Triasha said harshly. Before Triasha could even make a move Kynoto shouted at the top of his lungs,

“Special attack; Bloody Sickle!” His sword was transformed into a sickle, but it was no ordinary one; its blade was poisoned. The clone, which had stood up, brought on Kynoto’s outburst; apparently Triasha’s healing skill healed it as well for it was whole again. The weapon slid through the clone like a knife through hot butter. Triasha saw the black blood stained blade come close to his face as it sliced through the clone. Then Kynoto said, as the clone fell, lifeless to the ground, “Sickle technique; Doom Slice!” Kynoto’s weapon then transformed into a very light and very fast object. This attack had a flaw though; it could be deflected, but only if predicted correctly. Triasha saw the stance and immediately knew that Kynoto would attack from above; he readied himself for the counter attack. As Kynoto jumped, Triasha’s hand shot out, grabbing the pole of the weapon. He then, with a great strength, turned the weapon on its owner who shouted, “How did you know that I was going to do that?!” as his body fell, devoid of life, to the ground. Triasha now felt a surge of joyfulness, but that ended quickly; something didn’t feel right. Gabriel gasped as he saw what had happened. Kynoto, angry about his defeat, had used his sword, which he had hidden in the shaft of the sickle, to cut off Triasha’s arms and legs thinking that it would incapacitate him, but it didn’t end up that way.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!” Triasha screamed as his arms and legs grew anew. “Damn that was painful. I hope they thrash you every day in Hell Kynoto! That took a lot out of me, I had better retreat for now,” Triasha said quietly to himself. As Triasha retreated, Gabriel shot a blast of Trianchu, cutting off his left foot. Triasha took one last cursed glance at the group of angels, cursed, and then disappeared into the clouds.

“Well, looks like he won’t be doing too much for a while. Now, back to Heaven, we have to find a way to revive Kynoto. Someone grab his body,” Gabriel said in a toneless voice. Celestial was sobbing softly in the background. She muttered under her breath, her voice full of resentment,

“How can he be so calm about this? Damn you Triasha, I will make sure that you pay for this.”
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes....Or should I?

Chapter 5

Sword of Angmar

“Aren’t there any conventional ways to bring Kynoto back?” Celestial asked Gabriel when they returned to Heaven.

“No, I am certain of this, but there might be an unconventional method. Mitch, go get the Book of Swords,” Gabriel said, in the same toneless voice that he had born ever since he was promoted. Mitch soon returned with a musty old book and handed it to Gabriel. Gabriel blew the dust off of the cover, when he opened it several moths flew out of it. He turned a few pages then sat down and said, “Alright, now, everyone but Mitch please leave for a while, I must have time to study this book.”

It had been three hours since Celestial had left the room, she had been wandering around, wondering if Kynoto and her sister were in the same place, and if they were, if they had meet each other when the doors opened. Mitch walked out and told everyone to come in. As Celestial entered, she saw that the room was astray with pages from many books and scrolls, Gabriel was still sitting in the same chair as when she had left and was pouring over a page in the book. When everyone had entered he said,

“The sword of Angmar is the answer. It can revive people, but it is not unguarded nor is it unhidden. It is in some far off mountains and guarded by a foul creature; a Hellspider.” Everyone shudder at the mention of this abomination. Everyone knew what a Hellspider was; a gigantic spider that had lived in Hell until it had devoured more the a thousand demon souls, making it an extremely powerful foe. “But I do have some good news; we don’t have to kill it, we just need its venom,” Gabriel said as everyone sighed with relief. “The sword is stuck in a certain type of stone that can only be dissolved by the guardian’s venom. Once we have the sword, we need to return to the spot where Kynoto fell and then we must cover the sword in his blood and stick it in the ground, simple really, for the most part. Well, let’s go right now, no need to waste anymore time. Kynoto can only be brought back within a time window of five weeks, and we have already spent one of those days looking for an answer. It will take us three weeks to get to those mountains, a few days to get the sword if were lucky, then another week and four days to get back to the spot where he fell. As you can see, were hard pressed for time,” he said as he got up and grabbed anything that he might need. He bade everyone else to do the same since they were going to leave in three hours.

On their journey, Gabriel kept a log. The following are some entries from that log:

Date: 5/25/02
To day we begin our task, expect little delays, and have gone twenty miles by mid-day. The mountains are still out of sight but our morals are high in hope that we will find this artifact sooner then expected. We have decided to rest after having gone forty miles, we will resume tomorrow.

Date: 5/30/02
We have run into our first hostile group; a small group of demons from some nearby mounds. They challenged us and we obliterated them. We gain some useful items from these demons.

Date: 6/02/02
We have finally reached the mountains and are currently mapping the tunnels in search of the Hellspiders' den. We still have yet to figure out how to get the venom from the creature, but I am sure we will think of something.

Date: 6/07/02
We have thought of a way to get the venom. We will use an animal to get it. We will send it into the den, where it will be bitten, then while the spider goes out to feed on other things, we will rush in and extract the poison from the dead animal. We have found the den and are commencing with the plan.

Date: 6/11/02
We have the sword in our possession and are currently on route to the place where Kynoto fell. The plan worked marvelously and no fatalities have occurred. We will try to revive Kynoto as he is the only one I have ever seen to be able to actually stand much of a chance against Triasha.
End Log

They reached the area only four days after they retrieved the sword, but they only had a few hours left; it was going to be a very close call. Gabriel hurled the sword into the ground and then sat down.

“Were going to be here awhile, so I suggest that you all make yourselves comfortable,” Gabriel said as he stared intently at the sword, which had begun to glow blue. It had begun; Kynotos’ resurrection was being carried out right in front of their eyes. About an hour and thirty minutes later the ground started to rumble as the sword grew to a dark blue color. Then the ground split open where the sword was and Kynoto’s body was hurled into the air, the sword was broken. The body started to move, and then Kynoto said,

“Took you long enough.” Celestial threw herself at Kynoto, who was taken aback by her sudden surge of affection for him. After Kynoto pried her off, he told them all what he had gone through while he was trapped in Hell.

Chapter 6

The Re-birth of Kynoto

This is Kynoto’s personal account of what happened between the time that he was killed and when he was resurrected.

‘After I was sent to the Depths, I underwent a change from good to evil. The good that was in me was sucked from my soul and replaced with hate and anger. It was then that I found the true power of hate. I realized why Triasha was so strong; it was because his hate was immeasurable. But I came to realize that evil was a better medium then hate, so I let it envelop me. I gained incredible powers, at least a thousand times more then Triasha ever had. It was then that my powers and physical body were stripped from me. I was left a mere spirit. Soon, I felt some power return, then my physical body came back to me, as well as all of my powers. Only a few residents in Hell had recovered their forms, and whenever that number reached a certain point, they held a tournament for those individuals. There were twenty-seven others, but they were extremely weak. Most of my battle went as so; they attacked me, I blocked it then defeated them with a single punch. The only one that did not go this way was the one between Triasha’s clone of Kynotoishi and I. He was stronger then before, so I guess that he melded with the real Kynotoishi. This was not an easy battle, but I managed to win it with little trouble. I used my new Trianchu state, hyper, to defeat him. Once that was all said and done, I was given permission to keep my body. I tried to conceal my ever-growing power, but it was becoming harder each day and soon they started to notice it. One day, an Overlord came to strip me again, but as he attempted to he got knocked backwards; he couldn’t touch me. The high counsel didn’t respond to this very well. Once they had established that I could not be stripped of my powers again, they decided to banish me to the 13th level of Hell; a place reserved for those who defied the whims of the Overlords and High counsel. I, of course, resisted for I wasn’t very fond of the idea, but then as they started the banishment process, I started to glow blue and I realized that my power was overflowing like a well does in a hurricane; I could use as much as I wanted to, it was endless. Once my power level was so high that it was not measurable by our standards, I proceeded to make demands of the Overlords. Stricken with fear of what I might be able to do, they followed my orders. As I was about to execute them, I was lifted from the ground, and my power was weakening. I realized that Gabriel must have found a way to revive me. As I was leaving that godforsaken place, I wanted to destroy it, but I couldn’t, my power had been nearly drained. Thus, the ground opened up and my soul was thrusted into my body; I was resurrected. It felt good to be alive again, but something was still bothering me. It must have been the fact that I had found that evil is stronger then good, but I did not let myself dwell on it too long.

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes....Or should I?

Chapter 7

Death of the Hell Spider; Forging of the High Sword of Angmar

It had been five days since Kynoto had been resurrected and the Sword of Angmar was broken as a result of the stress that it overtook while brining Kynoto back to the land of the living. But they had a bigger problem then that, indeed. The Hellspider, Hesami, had gone on a rampage, destroying anything in her path.

“What are we going to do bout that vile creature?” Celestial asked disdainfully.

“Too many people are dieing by the antics of that cursed thing, so I will destroy it, but not before I repair this sword; that is its last use,” Kynoto said as he readied himself.

“What do you mean Kynoto?” Mitch asked inquisitively.

“If Gabriel had kept reading the verse about this sword, you would have heard that only the spider that’s venom was used can re-forge the sword,” Kynoto replied.

“He’s right, that is what it says here,” said Juno, her squeaky voice rising above the rest of theirs.

“I must go alone. I shall be back in about three hours if all goes well,” Kynoto said as he turned to go down to Earth.

Meanwhile, Triasha had noticed the spider too and was trying to clone it when he felt someone coming. He hid himself out of pure instinct and waited for this mysterious fighter to reveal their selves.

Kynoto now stood face to face with the Hellspider. It bared its fangs and charged at Kynoto, who used a new form of Trianchu on it; Green. This so called Green Trianchu melded several of the users’ attacks together creating a devastating single blow technique. He bowled the spider over backwards with the force of his punch; he then drew the broken sword from its hilt and walked towards the spider. Making sure it was dead he plunged the sword into the Hellspider and said lazily,

“Now to wait for three hours. I guess I’ll go have a look around Earth and return when three hours has passed.” He was about to leave when a voice stopped him; he stopped and turned around with a smile.

“Oh how fun. Do you really want to fight Triasha?” Kynoto said, laughing slightly.

“B-b-b-but your d-dead, I-III-I killed you my-myself!” Triasha fell over backwards as he tried to stop himself from stuttering. Kynoto could hardly make out what Triasha said amidst all of the slurring and stuttering. “N-no matter, I have a present for you,” Triasha said slyly, regaining his composure. He chanted something and the spider was revived, not only that but it had been cloned several hundred times. Triasha, it seemed, was not too happy to see his archrival.

“Tisk tisk Triasha, when will you learn? Special attack, Meteor!” Kynoto yelled. From the sky came a roaring noise and as Triasha looked up he saw several giant meteorites heading straight for his army. He did what he could to prevent the comets from hitting the ground, but it was not enough. As they hit the ground, they sent shockwaves out along the ground into the hordes of Hellspiders. The real one was positioned at the very back of the group and it wasn’t affected by the attack, or so Kynoto thought. It had absorbed it and become a Super Hellspider. The clones disappeared because the original had changed and it was only Kynoto, Triasha, and the spider left. Triasha chose to hide under some rubble and let Kynoto deal with this new menace. Kynoto wasted no time either. He sprinted up to the creature and grabbed for the sword sticking out of its body. He grabbed hold of it and pulled it out. What he had retrieved amazed him for it wasn’t the sword that he had stuck into it. It had been transformed, but by what, Kynoto could only guess, his suspicions lead him to believe that the spiders’ enhanced energy level did it. It was now the High Sword of Angmar; a legend known by few. This sword held incredible powers of both good and evil wielders, but only someone who had been touched by death and lived to tell the tale could wield it. Kynoto turned and faced the spider, his expression hardening. He gave a quick upward slash and the spider fell to the ground. Triasha, having seen this tried to run away, but Kynoto stopped him.

“Triasha, you are a coward, but I will give you one chance. Go, get any power that you can, and then meet me back at this spot in five days. Then is when we will settle this once and for all,” Kynoto said, his voice full of hatred. Triasha winced at every syllable, as if a whip was striking him as Kynoto said this. Triasha stumbled to his feet and ran for his life; thanking his luck that Kynoto has been feeling generous. Kynoto would soon realize this to be one of his biggest mistakes ever.

Chapter 8

Triasha's Quest for Power

As Triasha tried to figure out where he could attain almost infinite power in a short time, he stumbled upon a place that he had never though of; the Nether realm. “I must attain a level higher then Kynoto, but where can I find such a place as to attain it? Ah ha, the Nether realm, just the place I am looking for, but the door is heavily guarded and I might not be able to get in since the door only swings one way, but I am special, heh. Since I originated there, I can enter it when ever I want to, I believe. Ho ho, just wait Kynoto, I’m going to murder you once I get this power!” Triasha mused. This would be no easy task by any means though, for the door that Triasha would use needs four keys to open it. These keys are held by four guardians; Nerils, Jenois, Gerilf, and Bernous. The four would be easy to defeat for Triasha, since he had Trianchu on his side. As Triasha left on this journey, he failed to notice his surroundings and he also failed to notice a pain; not a physical pain, no, a pain deep within himself, something or someone was struggling to get out.

Triasha came to the first guardian soon and completely annihilated him with one blast of Dark Trianchu, he also got the first key; the Key of Sorrow. The Second and Third were in the same place, but that also proved troublesome because they coordinated their attacks to make Triasha go where they wanted. They finally got him pinned down when Triasha use a new attack on them; the Sword of Phantasm. This allowed Triasha to dispatch of the two foes quite easily since it was a level seventy attack. He got the Keys of Anger and Jealousy here. The final key would prove the hardest yet. The final Guardian was the strongest and most armored. Triasha had to execute a level one-hundred and thirty attack, Souls of Destruction to defeat him. The final key, the Key of Possession, was now in his grasp. He took the four keys and ushered in front of the invisible back door to the Nether realm, “Hasuto masiti junian celitous letlusus!” The door appeared and four key holes opened up. Triasha inserted the keys and the hole vanished. Soon the door started to shake then proceeded to open. Triasha shook with mirth, he had done it, he had done the impossible and he was about to be rewarded greatly. He entered into the Nether realm and immediately felt stronger. He strode over to the Stream of Souls and began absorbing. He felt his power rise immensely and soon was felt almost everywhere on the planet.

Up in Heaven, the angels could feel something as well but as to what it was, that was highly contested.

“What is that?!” Gabriel exclaimed, sitting down from the force of what he had just felt. Kynoto replied darkly,

“It’s Triasha. He’s gotten into the Nether realm.”

“There is no way that he could have gotten in there Kynoto, how many times do I have to tell you, the door only...”

“Opens one way, I know, but it is different for Triasha,” Kynoto argued.

“How is it any different for him Kynoto?! Tell me why he can get in and no one else in the entire universe can!” Gabriel shouted.

“Gabriel, Kynoto is right. The surge is coming from the Nether realm, and only Triasha can get in there because that is where he was born. He was created in that place, so he can access it, but only once. That is the good part about all this; he can’t go back in now. In any case, we need to get ready for him,” Celestial said, breaking the two men up.

“She’s right you know Gabriel. It doesn’t matter how he got in, the fact is that he has and now we have a very large mess to clean up,” Kynoto said, calming down a little. Gabriel only nodded. Then he wrote some names onto a piece of paper and handed it to a guard and said

“Please tell these people to ready for battle; we will need them this time.”

“Sceptila, Hellser, and Quinn, I will do it at once Sir!” The guard said as he saluted and left.

“This will get pretty ugly won’t it Kynoto,” Gabriel asked rhetorically

“Yes, very is an understatement though. Seems like he took my challenge seriously, but I didn’t know that he would actually go to the Nether realm. He might be unstoppable this time, but I am sensing something else now; something evil, something unnatural about Triasha. I don’t think he is doing this on his own accord, but what ever it is will show itself in due time,” Kynoto said reverently, proceeding to go into deep thought. The next battle could be the last for everyone there, Triasha had enough power to kill an angel now and this other power he was sensing, something wasn’t adding up right. This worried Kynoto but he could not explain how, but he would meet it with courage. He decided not to sleep that night and took this time to train himself. Tomorrow would be a very busy day; a very bloody day.

Chapter 9

Coming of the Shadow Angel

As they came to the surface they realized that Triasha had been hiding his true power all along. He had about four times as much as they had initially thought. This worried Kynoto, but he was almost certain that he could handle him.

“Looks like Triasha was planning to surprise us wasn’t he, heh. Well do I have a surprise for him. He won’t know what hit him once I use my new attacks. I spent all night perfecting them,” Kynoto said boastingly. Gabriel didn’t like the sound of this, Triasha was stronger then he had originally planned, if he had known this bit of information, he would have mobilized the whole army of Heaven, not just seven members of it but then again Triasha would just probably kill them all along with himself if he felt overpowered in anyway. It became clear, however, to Gabriel that Triasha intended to fight Kynoto and only Kynoto. Soon Hellser could see Triasha flying right towards him. Before Gabriel could tell him to get out of the way, Hellser fell when a tiny beam of Trianchu pierced his heart straight through. As Hellser fell, Quinn and Sceptila jumped out to confront Triasha. Quinn got off lucky and only suffered a bone cracking blow to his ribcage, unfortunately however, he died later due to several punctures to his lungs by his broken ribs, Sceptila received much worse. She had been the one who had first engaged Triasha and had her neck broken in four separate places. It appeared that Triasha meant business today and he wasn’t shy to the idea of killing anyone who got in his way. Gabriel looked down at the three fallen angels and wondered what would happen to the rest of them should Kynoto fail, for no one there but Kynoto stood a chance against a monster of Triashas’ magnitude and Triasha knew this as well. When Kynoto stepped in front of him he stopped, though not without a great strain.

“Will you get out of my way! I must make sure that it is only you and me Kynoto,” Triasha shouted. Kynoto replied calmly,

“I promise you Triasha, they will not interfere.”

“Well, if they do, then I will kill the one who does,” Triasha said moodily.

“Fine, that is alright with me. You three, please move back to a safe distance, we wouldn’t want any intrusions now would we?” Kynoto said reassuringly. The way that Kynoto said this made Celestial feel at ease in the current situation. She thought to herself,

‘He knows what he is doing. He is the only one who can beat him and I know he will.’ Once they had retreated to Kynotos’ liking, he turned to face Triasha. Triasha saw that this Kynoto was not the one that had just bargained with him, this one looked older, sterner, and even hateful.

“Alright Triasha, let’s settle this. You have wasted too much precious life in your life time,” Kynoto said stout and unwavering. Triasha replied heartily,

“And you have saved too much, dear old Kynoto, hehe. It is time that you and I found our peace…but you are going to before me!” Triasha caught Kynoto off guard and had gained an advantage; the element of surprise. Triasha was already in control of this battle and Kynoto wasn’t too sure that he could regain it. Triasha was attack fiercely, such that Kynoto could barley defend himself and was eventually knocked to the ground. Triasha stood over him, his sword point to Kynotos’ throat, waiting for the right moment to kill him. Then Kynoto whispered something that only Triasha could hear and Triasha froze stiff as a board. Kynoto seized this opportunity to get behind Triasha and punch him hard on the back of his head. Triasha lurched forward as his nose and eyes bled. Triasha turned around, seemingly revived from his previous state. He looked mad about something and this made Gabriel wonder what Kynoto had said, but that was for later, Kynoto was having more trouble. Triasha had gained some more power somehow and was now faster then Kynoto. He was slapping Kynoto around like he was a rag doll, not giving him a chance to attack. Then when all seemed lost, Kynoto broke out of Triasha’s onslaught and started one of his own.

“Now, to use one of my new attacks. Gabriel should find this interesting, hahahahaha,” Kynoto laughed…then he got serious, a malicious light glowing in his eyes, “Alright, lets do this! Secret Art; Yanoko! Kynoto lifted his sword and broke it in half and lo! The halves became two separate swords. Kynoto flew at Triasha and began to spin. He had started one of the most devastating blows to Triasha to date. Gabriel realized this art at once for it had caused much turmoil in the Hangahina Campaign during the war between Hell and Heaven. It was a demon technique that literally would slice a person into shreds if it was not dodged.

“Iron Fists!” Triasha bellowed. His hands turned to a steel-like color and he held them out in front of them, barely stopping Kynoto’s attack. The blades bounced harmlessly off of Triasha’s hands which emitted sparks occasionally. Kynoto stopped the attack and looked at this new development. But some good had come of this. Triasha hands had become scared for even tough he had blocked the attack, Kynoto’s swords were still strong enough to scratch the surface of Triasha’s hands and when he undid the magic, he would have deep scars. Triasha looked at Kynoto carefully now, thinking what to do. He had already proven himself stronger then Kynoto, but something was causing his power to be held back. Something inside of him was eating his power; feeding, growing stronger by the minute. Something was defiantly not right. Kynoto was about ready to start his other new attack, one that would surely destroy Triasha, when Triasha gave a shrill scream. Gabriel jumped from the noise, it had startled him greatly. They looked over at Triasha and saw a hideous sight. A head was protruding from his back and it was not any head. It was the head of Kynoto’s once greatest enemy; Shintriasha. Shintriasha worked his way out of Triasha, causing his back to split open, Triasha’s spine was broken in half as Shintriasha struggled to get out. Triasha would have died there and then if he had not cast a powerful Grey Trianchu spell immediately after Shintriasha exited him. This was the answer to Kynotos’ questions. Triasha had the power to kill him but something was holding him back and he sensed that second energy.

“Ahhh, sooo good to be out of that idiot. Now, Kynoto, we have a score to settle. But lets rid our selves of this trash first, heheheheheh,” Shintriasha laughed maniacally as he turned to the three remaining angels. Kynoto realized what he had meant just before he did what he was about to do. He only had time to save one of them, so he acted on instinct and saved Celestial since Gabriel could be brought back easily because he has the highest ranking angel, they got special privileges such as instant regeneration and instant revival. Mitch however would not be so lucky, he would not be able to come back. Celestial looked at the slaughter of her friends and commander and began to cry. Kynoto came to her and assured her that justice would be paid even if it killed him. He turned to Shintriasha and as he looked at his smirk, he let his anger consume him. This startled Shintriasha because Kynoto had never let his anger interfere in his duties since he had first met him, but this was not the Kynoto he knew, no, this Kynoto was a whole different person. Shintriasha could feel the evil radiating from him, so could Celestial and she went wide-eyed and Kynoto’s power rose incredibly high.

“N-no, he couldn’t have figured it out,” she whispered to herself. Then as she finished her statement, Kynoto grew two wings, like a traditional angel would, but then he grew a third one, a black one, right between the first two. He had transcended past a mere angel, he was now a Shadow Angel; an angel of Hell. Shintriasha was lost for words, more or less frightened from this new episode of events. Terror replaced the disbelief in Shintriasha quickly though. He could feel the power of this man and it was pure evil.

“Who would have thought that an angel would be capable of such evil,” Shintriasha said at length. Kynoto scowled at Shintriasha and said in a tone that made Celestials blood run cold as ice,

“You, you rotting piece of crap. You don’t deserve to live. I am here to make sure that you rot in Hell. It’s the worst of all sins to kill an angel, much less six as you have done. I am merely an effect that you caused.” Then with out warning Shintriasha tried to attack Kynoto. Kynoto did not even try to block the attack because when Shintriasha’s sword hit his chest, it merely broke. Kynoto grabbed Shintriasha by his throat and squeezed. Shintriasha started flailing for breath as Kynoto started to crush his throat but he managed to break free somehow. He fell to the ground, heaving for breath. Then he stood up and realized that he could not win against such a being. Kynoto was too strong. Shintriasha fell to his knees and said,

“I…I give up. You win Kynoto. You’re much too strong for me.”

“Oh really, do you now? Well that makes things much easier now doesn’t it. Now die like the filth that you are!” Kynoto delved his hand into Shintriasha’s chest, he intended to rip out Shintriasha’s heart but stopped. Something didn’t feel right, Shintriasha was building up his power for something. Kynoto let out a howl of pain. Shintriasha had used his more latent abilities to rip off Kynotos’ hand and it became a part of him. He had been planning this from the start. Shintriasha gained some of Kynotos’ powers and was now strong enough to resist him. He picked up his sword and repaired it with a motion of his hand. He rushed Kynoto and slammed the sword through Kynoto’s stomach causing blood to run from the wound in front and in back. He held the sword there till Kynoto slid off of it, landing on the ground with a sickening thud. Kynoto was not as injured as he let on to be though for he got up after a few seconds and dusted himself off. Then he stared Shintriasha in the eye and preformed a deadly attack that, if not done correctly, would easily kill everyone with in a ten mile radius.

“Soul Banisher!” He growled as he seized Triasha by his head. Shintriasha saw Kynoto’s arm glow hot red and felt his hand burning through his skull. Then a huge blast of Trianchu entered Shintriasha obliterating everything inside of him, turning him into a mush filled skin bag. Shintriasha’s life had ended, and now Kynoto collapsed. He had used every last bit of his powers and fell into a deep coma-like state. Weather he would ever revive from it would remain unknown for many decades.

Celestial, after seeing this ordeal had committed suicide, clearly disturbed by the actions of Kynoto and Shintriasha. Thus the only one who could shed light on this subject passed into the land of shadow to join her friends and sister. Triasha however was still alive, but only barely. He now made up his mind, he would join sides with Kynoto. He had seen Kynoto’s true power and he had no intention of fighting with him for if he did it would mean certain doom for him. But for now Triasha would hide in the shadows of time, until Kynoto awoke from his slumber.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes....Or should I?
