Name: Tel'Zhaar, the earthbound dragon. lore: There was once a dragon that sought to seek the worlds beyond the dimensions. After laying waste to his own dimension in a ages long power struggle he went to seek other words to rule. after years of searching he stumbled upon a rift between dimensions, this may lead to his new word to rule, or so he thought. Upon entering he was met by large horrifying creature with a power he had never felt before, but the dragon had only one thing in mind, to fight and rule this newfound "other world". Battle quickly followed, a life or death battle between two beasts seemingly never ending but eventually the dragon got the upper hand, the dragon threw down the creature on its back and prepared to make his final strike, but the creature refusing to go down let out scream so loud the dragon got thrown off balance and the creature knocked the dragon over, beating it and tearing off its wings. With the dragon defeated the creature left trough the rift and was not to be seen again. A seemingly never ending time passed, hundreds of years, maybe even ages, lying in his own rotten blood unable to enter the eternal rest in this void. Not alive, nor dead. But then there was a sound of hope, a faint call of sorts, something he had heard just before that creature left this timeless void. A fire was lit in the dragons eyes once more. His rage, his hate, and most of all his hunger for battle felt stronger than ever before. Slowly but surely he rose to his feet, barely having enough strength stand he began to slowly move towards this call and feeling stronger for every step he take. The call was sounding stonger now, he could feel a presence, a presence of warriors, mages and creatures of great power, the very presence of battle and the presence of the creature who took his wings. The time for battle has come once again. "Pray that God will grant you wings, for the ground will be your ruin!" (strike with claws and mouth when melee. spits small fireballs when ranged) At-spd: 0.625 Speed: 300 (310 if Earth tuned) Armor: 20 +4/lvl (88) Magic_res: 30 HP: 570 +88/lvl (2066) Mana: 235 +41/lvl (932) --------------- 2.1 --------------- (Skills) P) "Elemental Tuning" Adds 45% of your AD to AP when Fire tuned. Adds 20% of you AP to AD when Earth tuned. * 250 AD gives you +112 AP * 500 AP gives you +100 AD --------------- 2.2 --------------- Q (Fire tuned) Q) "Rising Fire" (cost: 60 MP +15/lvl (120). CD: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17.5 / 17 sec) Passive: Tel'Zhaar builds up heat inside his body, increasing his AP by 3 (+3/lvl) every 2 second to a maximun of 6 stacks. (stacks are lost upon using a skill) Active: spit a smoking shot of fire at target unit that deals 65 (+65/lvl +0.6AP) magic damage and blinding the target for 2 seconds. * 325 damage at lvl 5. 500AP: 625 damage. * 500 unit range. * 90 AP at lvl 5 and 6 stacks. (Earth tuned) Q) "Crunch" (cost: 55 MP +13/lvl (107). CD: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 sec) takes a bite out of target unit and deal 60 (+60/lvl +0.6AD) physical damage and stun target for 0.50 (+0.25/lvl) seconds. Crunch restore 50% of the damage dealt as health. Passive: each unit killed by this skill increase AD by 2. * 300 damage at lvl 5. 250AD: 450 damage. * 1.5 second stun at lvl 5. * procs AD related item effects and also add damage from Sheen, Lich Bane, Tri-Force. --------------- 2.3 --------------- W (Fire tuned) W) "Eternal Hatred" (cost: 60 MP +15/lvl (120). CD: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 sec) lets out a loud roar which increase your basic attack by 30AD (+10/lvl) and cause them to deal AoE damage on the next 3 attacks. * +70 damage at lvl 5. total of 210 damage. * spits larger exploding fireballs during skill effect. (Earth tuned) W) "Stone Skin" (cost: 90 MP +5/lvl (110). CD: 26 / 25 / 24 / 23 / 22 sec) Hardens his skin with the strength of a stone, reducing the next 1 (+1 /lvl) physical attacks damage by 75% and magic attacks by 45%. * can only block 5 total attacks/skills. * stone skin is lost after 8 seconds. --------------- 2.4 --------------- E (Fire Tuned) E) "Fire Bomb" (cost: 96MP +26. /lvl (200). CD 30 / 28 / 26 / 24 / 22 sec.) shoots a large ball of fire at target location that deals 100 (+60/lvl +0.75AP) magic damage and burn the enemies for 20 magic damage/sec for 1 (+1 /lvl) seconds and reduce healing by 20%. (this skill cause your other skills to recharge for an extra +2 seconds) * 1 second channel time before attack. * 340 damage and 100 burn at lvl 5. 500AP: 715 damage and 100 burn. * Range: 650 units. * AoE range: 550 units. (Earth tuned) E) "Earthquake" (cost: 90MP +10 /lvl (130). CD 20 / 20 / 19 / 19 / 18 sec.) Slams the ground three times with his fists to cause quakes that slow enemy units by 20% for 2 seconds and deal 20 (+20/lvl +0.3AD) physical damage each quake and reduce armor by (5 / 7 / 9 / 11 / 13) per strike for 8 seconds. * 300 damage at lvl 5. 250AD: 525 damage. * tremor 700 units range V-cone, 600 units wide. --------------- 2.5 --------------- R R) "Elemental Swap" (cost: 100 Mana. CD 40 / 35 / 30 sec) Active: swaps elemental nature to gain new skills and stats. A black dragon by nature, Tel'Zhaar can use (switch back to) and improve his natural fire based nature and thirst for combat to bring ruin (Fire tuned). Forced to walk the earth, Tel'Zhaar have learned to harness its elemental power and gains new earth based abilities (Earth tuned). Passive: (if Fire tuned) Gains increased AP (20 / 30 / 40) and increased spell range (33 / 66 / 100 units). (if Earth tuned) Gians 10 extra move speed and increased armor (15 / 30 / 40), Magic resist (10 / 20 / 25) and attack power (10 / 15 / 20), *cooldowns are transfered when changing element to prevent multi skill spam. -------------- 3 --------------- (Tips and Counter Tips) Tips: * When Fire tuned you can deal great amount of damage but have very little defence skills. * Earth tuned gives you more defence and grant you more CC skills. * Use Stone Skin to soak up enemy nukes for your team or use it as a shield when low on health. Counter tips: * In Fire tune Tel'Zhaar have great damage and range on his attacks but also have long cooldowns and little escape. * Tel'Zhaar can take more damage in Earth tune but have less nuking power and is restricted to melee. * in Earth tune, use range to harass him and use your nukes when his Stone Skin is down. -------------- 4 --------------- (Voice and commands) Select: This world shall be left in ruins! Move: Battle calls - I hunger for battle - Dragons where not made to walk - our power cannot be matched attack: I'll burn you to ashes! - Death and destruction! - Your life shall end! /joke : /taunt : -------------- 5 --------------- Other / Edits. The dragon have a black scale color and red glowing eyes. it's wings are torn off and only short stumps remain. When Earth tuned he have a stone like color and texture to his scales, blue eyes and his wing stumps are replaced by stone spikes. Both his E skills are a bit like mini ultimates. All +/lvl are added after the initial lvl and may only be counted 4 times (2 for ulti). ! None of these numbers are final and may be changed ! any type of feedback is welcome! and check out my other champs: Mika, Child of nightmares Scyxx, the Hextech Gun-mage Edits: * lowered the base mana cost on a few spells but increased mana cost per lvl. * slightly decreased CD on some spells. * reduced damage on Crunch and added a stun to make Earth tune less nuke'y. * Decreased base Fire tuned spell range and reworked the ultimate a bit to compensate. First off: Hi and welcome to the Forum ![]() I've skimmed the Suggestion One time 'cause i'm pretty tired after my training, but I'll give the Best suggestions i can currently give: At first his W in Fire Form : Even if you Want him to have Long CDs, this spell is too weak with the current One. It would, As you said, deal 210 damage with a 16 seconds cooldown... Way to Little damage for a Way to long cooldown. I'd suggest to give this skill an AP ratio, so it would benefit from the 'caster stance'. And one single question: you Change His 'stance' with His Ult., am I right? If yes: when all of your skills are on cooldown in One stance, are they in the other stance aswell? |

thanks for the feedback. it may only do 210 total, but it adds to your basic attack (which I have no final number on yet) that should be around 100 without extra AD, so in a way it would do 510 damage minimum at lvl 18. tho I guess a CD reduction would not hurt as it would help with minion farming (or even jungling maybe). yes, his Form is change with the Ulti, I guess the CD should transfer as being able to cast 4 (5 if count Fire's "W") nukes with one champion would be a bit.... yeh. |

Not much to say about it, its rather late and I just skimmed it. But take in mind 1 thing, there should be a penalty somewhere for having two forms. Simply consider this statement: Why should Tel'Zhaar have two forms and able to do up to 6 different skills while other champions only have 3 or 4? Q is Nuke or Self Heal Nuke W is more DPS or Armor E is AoE Nuke or Slowing Nuke Consider Nidalee, she is ranged in 1 form while melee in another. She is rather squishy and can easily take quite a bit of damage. But she can heal herself and have a skillshot nuke in human form. Her human form is rather DPS/Utility (heal and trap). Her animal form is chasing and doing burst damage. But either form, she is squishy. You're giving the melee range one like W reduced damage. Your R provide MR and Armor so Tal'Zhaar can be more tanky. Your champion is definitely nice, but work on balancing such that it wouldn't be "OP" as many would claim it. Individually, I wouldn't really say any skills is OP but have 2 skill sets without some sort of penalty or something makes it too good to be viable. Edit: Well, I take part of it back. I relooked at mana cost and cooldown. Its rather long so I suppose thats one way of setting Tel'Zhaar back though not the best method if you ask me... Edited by PineapplePIne, Sep 24 2010, 02:23 AM.
