First of all welcome and thank you for looking at the forums! This is a forum dedicated for people who love to make champs and want feedback on them and help them improve.

Right now I am by myself so I need to learn a lot of how to change some stuff but this is something I want the forums to archive:

1. A dedicated place for league of legends champion suggestions

2. A place where people can get together and give feedback on each others champs

3. In time i am hoping we can have some groups of people to work together on making champs, lore, art work, spells, stats, etc. One great mind is great, but several can really make a champ unique.

Alright people. I’m gonna start this off by saying my mind hates me. This idea was NOT my own, but spawned due to several influences, all of which collided in my mind to create this... thing. Sadly, once they collided, they also decided to name themselves Signum, and wouldn’t leave me alone till I made them. Thus, here we are.

Inspiration for this particular champ came from this guy and a bit of this other guy. The Ink mechanic is lightly borrowed from the first one, and the channeling mechanic I use is borrowed from the other guy. There, I’ve disclaimed them. Now don’t bug me about them.

Alright, normally I start right into the skills, but this champ is weird, so we gotta do some explaining first.

Ink: All of your skills use up Ink. Signum is special, because he somehow produces Ink within his body, and can manipulate it to do various things with it. Mostly, he forms it into specific patterns and marks things, using the patterns to channel his powers to do certain things. However, he has limited amounts of ink in his body, and it takes time to make more. This means you need to manage ink carefully. You only regenerate Ink while outside of combat for at least 5 seconds, so you need to be especially careful.

Seals: This champion’s mechanics work in very specific ways. Primarily, Signum is very similar to Udyr, in that you will “dance” between types of seals much like Udyr stance-dances. As will be shown when you get to the skills, each skill applies a certain on-hit debuff. The exact effects of seals will be explained in the individual skills, but I will also mention here that seals primarily do the following: reduce channeling time for Rune skills (explained below), place various debuffs on enemies, and allow you to use focused versions of Rune skills (explained in the skills themselves).

Runes: At the core, all of Signum’s skills are Rune skills. As such, the mechanic for his skills works as follows:

First Use of a skill: Start using that skill’s On-Hit Seal effect, and any on-switch effects activate.

Second Use of a skill: If any of the Seals have been applied to anyone, reduce the channeling time by the number of seals applied, then begin channeling for the remaining duration. At the end of the channel, apply the Rune effect, and any stacks of the seal are used up to trigger the Seal effects. Rune effects are weakened by the number of Seals used, due to the power being focused more into the seals than the runes.

Third Use of a skill: If the skill is used while Channeling, you can Quick-Cast it, reducing the numeric effects of the skill by 60%, though its reduced to 40% at level 18 (starts at 60 at level 1, and reduces by 1% for each level you have, and an extra 1% at levels 6, 12, and 18, so its 40% at level 18).

Runes are symbols drawn on the ground with ink to act as a focus for Signum’s powers. As explained under Seals, Runes can be cast quicker with Seals, though as explained here you can also use Quick-Casting to cast them fast at the cost of power. A Rune drawn without using seals is more powerful, but unfocused and slow to cast. All Rune skills effect an AoE.

Passive - Mobile Seals: While Channeling, Signum can continue to move with his Movement Speed reduced by 60%, though its reduced to 40% at level 18 (starts at 60 at level 1, and reduces by 1% for each level you have, and an extra 1% at levels 6, 12, and 18, so its 40% at level 18).

Seal Effect (Persistent): Each hit on an enemy applies an Exploding Rune debuff. Exploding Runes deal 1 damage per second, multiplied by Signum’s Attack Speed. Reduce the Multiplier by 0.1 each second, until it becomes 0 (refreshed with each hit). Max stacks is 30. You gain 5/10/15/20/25% Attack Speed for 4 seconds when you switch to this Seal.

Rune Effect (Activated on Second Cast): Signum channels for 5 seconds, minus 0.1 seconds for each Exploding Rune stack on any enemies, minimum 2 seconds, unless an enemy has 30 stacks in which case the channeling time becomes 0. This attack deals 200/300/400/500/600 (+0.3 AP) damage to every enemy within 1000 units, minus 30/45/60/75/90 damage for every 200 units between you and the enemy, and 10/12/14/16/18 damage per Exploding Rune applied to an enemy. Enemies with Exploding Runes on them are dealt 4/5/6/7/8 (+0.01) damage per Exploding Rune on them. An enemy with 30 stacks is also stunned for 1 second, and this attack deals 50% of the damage they were dealt in a 300 unit AoE around them.

Ink Cost: 1 Ink per Seal used, minimum 30 minus 1 for each Seal when using Rune Effect.

Cooldown: 15 seconds

W - Binding Seal: Signum uses his Seals to restrain the enemy.

Seal Effect (Persistent): Each hit on an enemy applies a Binding Rune debuff. Binding Runes reduce Movement Speed and Attack Speed by 1% each. Enemies regain lost Movement Speed and Attack Speed at a rate of 1% per 2 seconds while they are not being attacked by this effect. Max stacks is 20. Your next auto-attack when you switch to this Seal has a range of 800, and pulls the enemy it hits to you, but is treated as a Skillshot.

Rune Effect (Activated on Second Cast): Signum channels for 3.5 seconds, minus 0.1 seconds for each Binding Rune stack on any enemies, minimum 1.5 seconds unless an enemy has 20 stacks in which case the channeling time becomes 0. Every enemy within 500/575/650/725/800 units becomes rooted for 4/4.375/4.75/5.125/5.5 - 0.1 seconds for every Binding Rune debuff on enemies. Signum cannot move for the duration of the root (he is NOT channeling for this part, he is just rooted). Enemies with Binding Rune stacks are rooted for 0.1 seconds for each Stack, or stunned for 3 seconds if they have 20 stacks.

Ink Cost: 1 Ink per Seal used, minimum 20 minus 1 for each Seal when using Rune Effect.

E - Healing Seal: Signum transfers the life energy of enemies affected by his seal to his allies.

Seal Effect (Persistent): Each hit on an enemy applies a Transfer Rune debuff. Every 5 seconds, each Transfer Rune deals 5 (+0.01) damage to the enemy, and heals nearby allies within 300 units for an equal amount. Reduce the amount of damage by 10% (minimum of 5 damage) every tick. Max stacks is 25. Nearby allies within 600 units heal an amount equal to half the damage you inflict in the next 5 seconds.

Rune Effect (Activated on Second Cast): Signum channels for 6 seconds, minus 0.15 seconds for each Binding Rune stack on any enemies, minimum 2.25 seconds unless an enemy has 25 stacks in which case the channeling time becomes 0. Every ally within 1200 units is healed 175/250/325/400/475 (+0.5 AP), minus 25/32/39/46/53 for every 200 units between you and the ally, and 7/10/13/16/19 per Transfer Rune applied to an enemy. Enemies with Transfer Rune stacks take 6/7/8/9/10 (+0.01 AP) damage for each Transfer Rune on them, and allies within 600 units of them are healed for an equal amount, and allies gain 30 Armor and Magic Resist for 6 seconds if the enemy has 25 stacks of Transfer Runes.

Ink Cost: 1 Ink per Seal used, minimum 25 minus 1 for each Seal when using Rune Effect.

R - Advanced Seal Creation: Signum uses his incredible skill to create seals at an even faster rate than normal.

For 6 seconds, each basic attack will apply an additional 1/2/3 of the current active Seal.
