Which leads from Ticks to Tocks because even The Chronomancer can't bugger up Reality as he wants, but only within certain boundaries. Ergo, the various Exalts that are One. Obviously, because he has a few billion accounts, even if inactive, his mind is shattered about and therefore, Chronomancers don't have Godly stats- they only have the stats their mortal (or immortal) existence has earned because otherwise the load would be far too great even for a God to bear. Which might explain why two Chronomancers could fight against each other. Or how certain Regenerations lose their memories. Or a lot of other plot holes that have now been conveniently covered up. |

I'm not quite sold on Blessed Saint yet. Maybe Star Saint, to reference with the Star Gods? However, I finally realized the misunderstanding with the Kryptonian. In this homebrew, I meant that the Krytonians were called that because they lived on Kryton, not because they were an unique race. The radiation absorbing powers came directly from the Unconquered Sun, unlike DC's Kryptonians. The vagueness was my part. To be a beacon of light in the grim darkness, such is the way of the [NAME OF EXALTATION].
That sounds like an interesting proposition. If you can make it different from Liches or Atlanteans, then that's great. If not, more power to you for contributing anyway. Also, I made a Strawpoll on the new name here http://strawpoll.me/2660737 |

Meh, anything reference "Star Gods" just calls to mind Lovecraft for me. As in, horrible gribbly monsters so far beyond us that they couldn't give any less of a damn? They certainly wouldn't care about being "a beacon of light in the grim darkness"... unless the gribbly in question is one of Soulblazer's youma, which might be hilarious. "Sailor Yuggoth," indeed. <w<;; And please do recall I've dropped "lich" to a suggestion for an asset here. Eternal guardians, more like... the Tomb Kings, or the latest take on Necrons, if you follow Warhammer? |

Tomb Kings in space that aren't Newcrons? The Mummy, the life beyond death Liches could only dream of! Send in the skeletons, we're going to war! EDIT: While we're at it, we shouldn't leave out the Arisen and anything else based on Egyptian mythology. Edited by weredrago2, Sep 27 2014, 10:41 PM.

Eisenritter... "Ugly Mutated Tentacle Monster of Depravity, Sailor Shoggoth!" is all I'm going to say before pointing at the Incarnate Exaltation and making it an Incarnate of Carnality. Weredrago2; I'd leave the servitor minions open to discussion, but what I have in mind is less of a necromancer and more of a necropath. Communicate and direct, whether it is to keep the balance of Death, to help the Restless rest or to share the agony of Undeath with everyone. |

In that case, you should consider throwing Sin Eaters in the pot for spirit world shenanigans. |

Sailor Yuggoth, thank you. Yuggoth's the planet, shoggoths are horrid masses of eyes, teeth and tentacles that inhabit it. And now we're pushing the "Undead" exalt into more of a psychopomp? In which case, assets should include the Lich, Death Knight and Mummy for the "magic overlord," "elite warrior" and "tomb guardian" archetypes respectively. If there's a Ghoul asset, promote the hideous jackal-beast image Lovecraft gave us and tie their fluff to charnel pits and unmarked graves. Map to the Daybreak, Dusk and Midnight castes of Abyssal exalts for the first three (respectively), ghouls would be the Day caste. Bonus points if you use the Abyssal castes as assets and say the deathless ones do it deliberately to mock the Atlanteans.

Sin-Eating won't be a part of the Exaltation, but feel free to include it as part of your character's motivations and actions (and why not? He/she/it could travel around the stars seeking to ease the burden of others so that none have to suffer as he/she/it). As far as the Mummy will go (and it's still only a first draft) I'll borrow the life-drain of the Vampire to restore Resources, with a problem arising when they use those resources; they start rotting and their true nature starts becoming aparent. BIG penalties in Social stuff, unless you're trying to scare someone off. Will have more of 'support' roles, I think. Summoning minions (from pathetic mooks for scouting to semi-effective mooks that might actually kill something, some day), speaking with the dead, declaring one's Death (and such a Declaration could have nasty effects, both for the Mummy as well as its target, depending on what happens). That's what I've thought up so far. As far as the Psi-Lord Exaltation, which I've NOT forgotten about, I'm also thinking of a support-type, but in a different way. More 'indirect' ways of getting jobs done (reading surface thoughts, detecting others, psychometry, telepathy, telekinesis). Again, not yet fully thought-out. Their Resource drawback (as all Exalts have one) would probably be 'Id-iocy', by which the more they use their powers, the more their Id starts taking over, turning them into slaves of their greatest passions. Think 80s cartoon villain/hero, massive orgies, catatonia etc. On the Time Lord regeneration, I propose this; "Upon Regenerating, the torturous experience leave the Chronomancer with a mind awhirl with transcient thoughts. Unfortunately, those aren't particularly good for one's sanity, doubly so when their brain is reconfiguring itself. Due to that, they gain 30 Insanity points, and the associated Insanities, for a session, which then dissipate with no lasting harm." It might seem more of a hassle than the Chosen's 'reincarnate in a safe place', but firstly, it allows you to continue the fight, rather than having to rejoin it next session via emergency drop and secondly, no reduction to your Power Stat (or at least, that's what I think so far). Finally, I have no idea of the castes of exalts, but I might just go with it for the heck of it. |

For the Para-Psyker exalt: Power stat can be Ego, Resource stat is Psi (drawing from EarthBound). Ego powers can then be as simple as PK [Greek letter] at each rank... I recommend nicking from Warhammer here, start at PK Sigma and count down, so that the highest rank is Alpha or Alpha-Plus (an Omega would thus be an insanely strong untouchable, the antithesis to the Ego 5 Para-Psyker). At least one rank should be Mind-Hand Manipulation, which should be functionally identical to the Wraith's Poltergeist, because living exalts should be capable of it too, dammit. Also, a present! I give you, the [DATA EXPUNGED] Do please note this is, again, a first draft... also, now I've transferred it it seems there's a lot more Mokou in here than I'd previously thought.

Disagreements are as follow; in Phoenix Magic; the whole 'roll Psychic Phenomena twice' thing can be overpowered if it's not specifically effective for only those two schools. Even then it's potentially abusable -do Push penalties affect both or just one of the rolls? Also in Gloaming Aspect, it's not 'Enchantment magical power' but 'Enchantment Magic School'. Just a typo, but I had to say it. EDIT: The rest of it seems fine and very good for newbies who don't know how to survive a game (or those dumping Con). Lots of survival here, good luck killing one of those guys. Edited by Soulblazer_87, Sep 28 2014, 06:43 PM.
