Optional Rules for Mortal Hero Exp Adjustment

Exp Adjustment: A mortal hero, defined on page 54 of the core rule book gets no exaltation, and so will always be weaker than an exalt of the same Exp amount. A mortal hero should gain bonus Exp for his level as seen in the Exp Adjustment column. Each time he levels up, he gains the bonus amount for the level he just obtained (100 at level 2, 150 at level 4, etc. ). The total Exp Adjustment column shows how much extra Exp a mortal hero should have total at that level. (Think of this Exp adjustment as a level adjustment in dnd. A level 5 fighter is always weaker than a level 5 vampire fighter, so you would give the non vampire a level adjustment if you wanted to use him in the same party as the vampire fighter)

Level Exp Adjustment Total Exp Adjustment
1 150 150
2 100 250
3 100 350
4 150 500
5 150 650

Resource Points: A mortal hero has no power stat, and so he does not get any resource points. Some spells and feats require resource points however. For this purpose specifically, a mortal hero gets points equal to his level + 1, recovering each day. These can only be used for spells or feats that require resource points, not to escape being stunned, recover hit points, or anything else.
