To go with the Summoner Homebrew Class. Currently, this thread is for spitballing summons to see what sticks. Mainly fluff. We can add stats to anything we like later. Template Name: Alignment: Rank: (Lesser/Greater/Herald Servant) Sacrifice (Heralds only): Powers: Personality: Example Name: Ifrit Alignment: Malal Rank: Herald Sacrifice: Burn something that you have emotional attachment to on top of a proper summoning circle. Bonus points for burning someone important to you as tribute to Malal. Powers: Incredibly strong and tough, flames are near impossible to extinguish Personality: Insatiable desire for death and destruction. Infamous for attacking his summoner after the fighting is supposed to be over. Edit: I misread information on Heralds. Fixed it so that Ifrit is a Herald instead of a Greater Servant. Doesn't Divine Ministration work off of Hero Points? |

Oh, my bad. Let's bump that off, then. Any alternatives in mind? |

Dick move option: Phoenixes. Alternately, play up the "purity" bit... Pelor is the Unconquered Sun. Cthugha-esque living micro-suns, radiant angels, gigantic mecha forged of gold and Orichalcum wielding spears made of condensed sunlight... |

I meant an alternative to the Divine Ministration feat. Pixie is from Shin Megami Tensei. Since it's usually the first demon you get, it probably doesn't need two feats anyway. More sun is a good idea. Gold Lightan comes to mind when you mention giant golden robots. |

WELL OK THEN ![]() Ho-Oh, Herald of Pelor Level 3 STR ** DEX **** CON ** INT ** WIS ***** WIL ** CHA ***** FEL ** COM ** Size 5, Static Defense 27, Hit Points 8, Resilience 5 Skills: Acrobatics **** Scrutiny ***** Arcana *** Perception **** Intimidation *** Athletics * Magic: Evocation *** Healing ** Spells: Shield Other, Regeneration, Energy Burst, Energy Ray, Prismatic Ray Gnosis 1, Motes 6 Weapon: Sacred Fire (Heavy, 4k3 E, Pen 4, ROF S/-, 60m, Clip 4, Reload 2 Full, Flame) Traits: Regeneration (1), Flyer, Mark of Pelor (Plasma Pistol shot once per session.) Everlasting Phoenix Tail (Gain 1 Aura. Whenever you spend Motes, increase this Aura by 1 for the remainder of the scene, to a maximum of 8.) The 3,000 XP limit is a bit tight, but this is a starting Herald so that's probably fine. I think they should probably get 1 Hero Point, and have the Exaltation traits cost less - 100 per dot? Cool. We've got a new Herald! Considering how many summons we might end up making, it might be in our best interest to put them in a separate book. Like a companion to the new monster manual. |
