Art of War: This feat may be taken multiple times. Each time you take this feat, select an additional leadership trait from the list below:
Aggressive Campaigner: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Jaded feat. By spending a hero point, all allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Fearless and Frenzy feats for one scene.
Cautious Leader: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Light Sleeper feat. By spending a hero point, all allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Danger Sense, Paranoia, and Quick Draw feats for one scene.
Holy Crusader: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Hatred (Heretics) and Peer (Religion) feats. By spending a hero point, all allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Armor of Contempt, Purge the Unclean, and Virgil's Guidance feats for one scene.
Wily Schemer: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Sneak Attack feat. By spending a hero point, all allies rallied to you or your standard gain the use of the Diamond Back and Improved Sneak Attack feats for one scene.

Bannerman: You gain a battle standard of some form that may be borne by you or an ally, and all allies rallied under your personal standard gain one temporary hit point, which stacks with other sources of temporary hit points.

Drill Instructor: All allies rallied to you or your standard may purchase Weapon Proficiency and Armor Proficiency feats that you have as though they were optional feats available to their class.

Inspiring Presence: When attacked and out of cover, all allies rallied to you or your standard may regain a Resource Point, while you regain one Hero Point, if you are not hit. This feat may only be used once per scene.

Living Legend: Gain a Hero Point.

Telepresence: Through the use of communication devices like messenger birds, semaphore flags, or commbeads, you can use Aid Another on faraway allies despite not being present; all that is necessary is some amount of two-way communication.

Flat: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain +2 Speed while on flat terrain.

Rough: All allies rallied to you or your standard no longer suffer penalties from Difficult terrain.
Urban: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain +2 Armor from cover in artificial structures.
Void: All allies rallied to you or your standard gain +2 Initiative while in microgravity.

Hmm. I see a couple problems.
  • Most of the "All your allies gain [X buff] for [Y] days" things should probably be nerfed to Y rounds (or maybe 1 scene), especially since pretty much any Exalt can regen many resource points a day, and sessions often last much shorter than several days. They essentially provide constant, large buffs to everyone you like for almost no cost. Cautious Leader and Flat Terrain Expert are good candidates for keeping "days".
  • Living Legend is, well, urgh. It seems to me that hero points are kind of a Huge Deal, and buying 3 for 100 XP each really rubs me the wrong way. If it was a normal feat that you could only take once, it'd make more game-sense...

Thanks! Made some changes based on your suggestions. How does narrative time work scene-wise?

Hmm, that's a good question. I suppose it's up to the SM. If you're just traveling across a mountain path with an army or something, and there's no extensive RP while stopped for camp, I suppose a scene could last weeks.

One edge-case problem and a naming quibble:
What happens if someone with 0 HP stops being rallied under your banner (or the scene ends on Holy Warrior)? Maybe nothing. Since Critical Damage isn't HP, I suppose they're just...still at 0 HP?
Again, just a quibble, but I don't like how the names of the Supreme Commander Archetypes don't "line" up with each other. (Imagine me pouting in an exaggerated manner here.) Maybe Aggressive Campaigner, Cautious Leader, Holy Crusader, Wily Schemer?

Last but not least, after giving this class a second once-over, I really like it.

Narrative time is the "as long as it takes" time. Hours, days or weeks of time doing stuff. Time outside of combat. Page 240 of book one.

Changed Bannerman to probably fix the former edge-case. Not sure about the latter: I didn't find too many feats that fit in with the whole 'fighting religious enemies' thing, so I just stuck Sound Constitution in there. Maybe I should replace it with Virgil's Guidance? Also considering removing Heavy Infantry Leader/Light Infantry Leader.

Yeah, the nomenclature was something that bugged me too! Changed the names of the 'archetype' feats, stuck them under Art of War, and made a few other changes.

But that makes it uncertain about whether you have to heal that extra hit point.

Wait, duh, there's already a game mechanic for this specific situation. "All allies rallied under your personal standard gain one temporary hit point, which stacks with other sources of temporary hit points".
