Overdue statement if we're ever going back to the naming argument

A Tuatha Youma could be a result of a failed imitation...or they're that crazy.

Does Wicked Masque mean they can go naked in the vacuum of space? "Look, no voidsuit!" Also, is it possible to willingly break down the illusion and unleash TURE HROR™.

Also, I know you're referencine Fae weaknesses, but why not Silver?

On the subject of naming

For the rest, in order: Meh, yes, no, and more folklore. The Tuatha Dé forged for their first king a silver arm after he lost his in battle, hence the epithet Airgetlàmh, for Nuadha "of the silver hand."

Admittedly, that's only the one example I can think of right now, but I did give iron (as opposed to steel) more ways to dick them over to make up for having an oddball weakness...

I may have just misread the Social Combat rules, but isn't the Cup asset's bit that states "You can suffer Resolve drain up to your Heart Grace (or 2, whichever is higher) during a scene," a bad thing? I can see how it fits in with the asset's fluff, but I don't see a point in not leaving it shadowed.

It's my understanding that being able to pop more Resolve means that you can auto-deflect more social attacks during a scene? And using the Cup allows you to drain the Resolve of whoever prompted you to spend your own.

From the book:
Quote:

In a given scene, a character can suffer only two points of Resolve drain from social attacks. Once this has happened, the character becomes jaded and suspicious. Any further attempts at persuasion automatically fail unless the attacker uses a stunt to try a new approach. Whenever a social attack would make a character act against their alignment they must spend a Resolve point in order to resist.

...Alright, then that's a thing that needs looking at...

Quick edit that I think fits the theme of the Cup: "I can please you... for a price. I can love you... but you must love me more. I can give you everything I have... but know that by doing so, I will only leave you more unsatisfied."

...And bilked a different (and more fitting) couple paragraphs while I decide if the opening fluff should be handed off to someone else... :(

How is beginning with a language you already speak managed? For example, if someone wants to be a Youma Tuatha, that would result in their effectively having Speak Language (Spirits) twice.
