It's not his Exaltation. This was (and is) a group project that he's hosting.

You know, just being able to lose 1 Slipstream in the place of burning a Hero point to save yourself D4C style could be a power.

My mistake then
well, some of the "not-die" mechanics of some exaltation are put as powers, level 4, 5?

Sublimating the burnt Hero Point to dropping the power stat is a base power (Chosen). And it should be noted that not all exalts have "don't die" powers (Atlantean, Paragon, Dragonblood).

Eisen has a point, we didn't consider not having such a mechanic altogether

supposing that, then what else is this exaltation lacking?

I might as well make a hypothetical Happening power.

Happening: As long as you have at least Slipstream 2 or higher, you may lose a dot of Slipstream in the place of burning a Hero Point to survive death. You may buy it again as normal. When losing Slipstream this way, you may rearrange a number of characteristic dots equal to your Slipstream + Level (to a minimum of 2) and exchange physical assets for other physical assets. You also recover all missing limbs and Critical Damage during a healing period lasting 1d10 + Critical Damage rounds. During this time, you are vulnerable to attacks.

Meanwhile, can you guys explain what you're supposed to do with Time Fugue? I can't see anything useful there that can't be done with the later Slipstream powers.

Lastly, can we change the name to Time Lord? Chronomancer still isn't working for me.

As long as the alternative uses "lord," "Chronomancer" will remain the preferred choice.
