This is a community project. As such, you can't just shoot down ideas like if it was your individual homebrew. Also, fluff is very important. It sets the stage for what you should expect when playing the Exalt, and can get ideas flowing on how it should work mechanically. That includes the name, which I feel should be changed from Chronomancer to Time Lord. |

To me "Time Lord" sounds like the fifth-level class of the "Chronomancer" track, to be honest. Watchmaker -> Chrono Trigger -> Chronomancer -> Time Wizard -> Time Lord, for instance, or something along those lines. It's really something that could go either way. Then again, it's not like it's the only Exalt that could be done as a class if you felt like it. HOW 'BOUT THEM SAGES AND FORCE SENSITIVES AND PARAPSYKERS, HUH I kind of like Chronomancer, or at least I prefer it to Time Lord. But that's very much just my opinion. (Time Lords don't really do all that much time travel trickery anyway - it's all in the blue box. And they're a race but that's ignorable.) |

That reminds me. Where do the time Sword Schools fit into this? |

Two for one, two for the other. The only fluff that's necessary is that which lays the groundwork. Padding it out to match the other exalts can wait... or at least, I'm not going to bother writing fluff until we've got the crunch down. Sword schools... eh, I'm inclined to wait out the rest of it... |

I vote for the exaltation to be called "Ticky Tocky Motherfucker". |

Where does Devoted Spirit fit into the Chosen, or that one Vampire/Daemonhost sword school fit into those Exalts? Assets, if anywhere. They can just take a level in the relevant classes if they really want it. (The real question, of course, is "Where does the Maid fit into this?") |

Neveron has a point about turning the Chronomancer into a class. It wouldn't be impossible to change the powers into feats. |

Yeah, but that could go for a lot of Exalts. Looking at you, Paragon. Looking at you hard. |

Paragon is class-like? That one I don't get. |

It tries to be a generic "badass normal" template and as a result has less flavor than a communion wafer. By way of comparison, literally any other exaltation can define itself on its own, while Paragons are pretty much just a catchall for anyone who doesn't fit the other categories. Or a "heroic mortal" for those who don't actually want to use the trap option. Edited by Eisenritter, Sep 28 2015, 06:46 PM.
