Instants should have something to do with tapping into infinite potential. Anything can happen in an instant, after all.

Seconds count in a fight, so they should grant one of those time themed Schools. That, or let them choose any School/Kata for free.

As for the others, I'm unsure. I'm onto something with Instants and Seconds, though.

...Yeah, let's focus on those last two Slipstream powers first, I think? Hammer out what we can do to begin with, then worry about what can be bought on top of it, yeah?

Idea.

****Time Screw: You can spend 2 Ticks per round to have both options of Time Flow occur at once.

In absence of other suggestions, that's been added...

Here's another idea, based on something from earlier.

This would be a new innate ability, making Classified Information the new * power and Time Fugue the new **. Based on Time Lord regeneration and Traveler: The Happening's Happening mechanic.

The Happening: When a Chronomancer would burn a Hero Point to escape certain death, they 'happen' across the timeline of an unassuming mortal and fuse it with their own. This fuses the mortal and Chronomancer into a new composite being, having the memories and powers of the old Exalted and the abilities of their new body. Of course, this can also go wrong and end up with a new Chronomancer that has no idea of who he is supposed to be. Either way, you get to shift around your Attribute, Skill, and Background dots for free every time this would occur. You can also change Race or certain Assets at this time, though you'd need SM approval first.

How does that sound?

...Irritatingly complex for a base feature (much more so than the Chosen's Redeemed or the Phoenix's Immortal Fire Bird, which only sublimate the costs for getting out of dying). This lets you get out of dying and basically affect a free rewrite (compare the Tuatha's Phantasmagoria of 1,000 Masques, which does somewhat less at Heart Grace 3).

I'm leery. Waiting for additional input would be best, I think.

How about this?
** Temporal Jaunt
By spending a Tick, you can move up to twice your speed in any direction once as a free action.

The original Tick already allows you to double your speed, but a way to move even further might be nice.

That sounds like a good addition. Call it Quantum Leap and you have my full support.

...New guy's suggestion added in as Quantum Leap to finish the base exalt. Cleaning can occur later.

Next up would be exaltation assets, for which the only ideas so far were weredrago's "timeframes."

How about assets based on time pieces. Pocket Watch, Hourglass, Grandfather Clock, Digital with each one bringing a certain style to how the Chronomancer might do things.
Hourglass might get bonuses from delaying and having patience.
Grandfather Clock might work with improving the use of ticks and tocks with the whole pendulum aspect.
Pocket watch could go with speed and grace (totally ripping of Sakuya at this point).
Digital could involve applying time powers to tech, machines, and other devices.
