______________________________________________________

(From Supreme Commander) Telepressence: Through the use of communication devices like messenger birds, semaphore flags, or commbeads, you can use Aid Another on faraway allies despite not being present; all that is necessary is some amount of two-way communication.

Improved Scrying: Whenever you cast the Scrying spell you may increase the TN to cast it by 5, if you cast it you may audibly communicate through to the area you are scrying to. Only works on scrying targets within the same Crystal Spehere.

Astropath's Oath: You take the Soul Binding Oath of an Astropath, and blind yourself to properly numb your soul to the warp. You are permanently blinded, except when you cast the Scrying spell you still have your full visual senses. You may spend a hero point to negate Psychic Phenomenon or Perils of the Warp from spell-casting.

Third Eye Scrying: You may cast Divination spells on your Scrying target when scrying. This requires you to increase the TN by 5 to successfully do so. Only works within the same Crystal Sphere.

Master Scrying: When casting the Scrying spell every two raises you get over the TN increases the range by another 10m. You need only to have seen someone's face to be able to scry them, even through a photo or a digital screen (as long as they can make out all of the fine details).

Mind's Eye: You gain the ability to sense the world around you through your third eye. within an area equal to Willpower x 5 meters you can detect any life forms, and treat your blindness as if you only had one eye instead in this range, and may roll an Arcana test as if you were scanning them with an Auspex.

Sense Transcendant: You may elect to wholly focus on your scrying, expanding the benefits of your Mind's Eye feat out in the area you are scrying to, including range gained by raises from Master Scrying. This turns the Concentration action for Scrying to a Full Action instead of a Half Action and you do not gain the benefits of Mind's Eye around your body.

Lingering Presence: If you cast a Divination spell on someone, you do not take penalties for blindness against them for the rest of the scene.

Rough WIP. Suggestions very much welcome.

I expected Astropaths to come up at some point. How about +1 to Diviniation tests for the Completion Bonus?

Is it possible to do Navigators and Inquisitors/Interrogators as classes, or are they already covered?

Extremely Confused
Doesn't the spell Commune from Book 1 provide basically the same function as Improved Scrying?

Forgot all about completion bonuses, added what Weredrago2 suggested.

And thanks for the typo fixes Yog-Sothoth, didn't notice those.

EDIT: For the commune thing, kind of? I guess it does. I was thinking of reworking the asto-telocommunication stuff for this, but I'm not sure how.

Allow Scrying to be more local communication - as in, with Improved Scrying, you can only communicate within the Crystal Sphere you're in - and Commune to be more for long-range, inter-Sphere communication?

Added a note to Improved Scrying about only being within the same Crystal Sphere.

Navigators seem like they'd work well as one of those two-level "ship" tracks. I'm surprised that there isn't already one.

Steersman -> Navigator, perhaps. Have it require a dot in Divination, give bonuses to the Arcana+Wisdom test to locate Sigil, have five feats total per level of which two per level are unique to the class and the other three are grabbed from Book 1's more "generic" feats. Having Divination as a magic school could work as well, although it's not necessary - you can probably already take levels in it in Free Study, after all.
Oh yeah, and use one of the unique feats as a prerequisite for the second level. The entire thing should probably be level 2-3.
