...Book 1 had Vampires, I did Frankenstein's Monster yesterday. Now? Now, we have the B-movie Wolfman, passed through a bit of old-school kobolds and the web enhancement for Savage Species.

Gav gav.

Book 2 also had ghosts, meaning that we've got four of the five Monster Cereals monsters and three out of the four classic Hammer Horror monsters. So I guess the Mummy is next, then? Lots of focus on undying curses, Blacke Mahjickes and forbidden treasure, I'd guess.

As for the Laika (good name, BTW), [insert standard complaint about Size vs. Average Height here], remember that Worse Than the Bite doesn't stack due to general rules and should have verbiage to the opposite if that's not intended, White Watchwolf's marking mechanic is great, and you should probably use some furrier images.

Quote:

Laikas are slightly built humanoids, shorter but stockier than humans on average, and covered with a coat of hair that can show a variety of colors and patterns. They have large, pointed ears and short muzzles with small, wet noses. A laika's hair is longer and shaggier on the head and tail. Laikas usually have dark eyes, though pale blues and greens aren't completely unknown.

Or at least change that paragraph.

Seriously, the images are wolfboys and wolfgirls but that description is just straight-up in Dangerously Furry territory. Go one way or the other, dammit, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Also that description of the eyes is somewhat at odds with the 67% red eyes of your images.

I'll let you know when my Google Fu is strong enough to suss out more than just Polt, then.

And I think technically ReptileViking's already got mummies done, just waiting on fluff...

Why is Mishka not one of the example names?

Probably for the same reason Holo isn't? And also because I already have a lot of feminine names in there.

Not a problem, just stating a fact. You might want to try to get it done this month, though, we really should have the classic horrors represented by the time the ghosts and ghouls come out to play. :P

Now, on the subject of this thread, I'm going to hazard a guess that the opening sprawl and Playing As sections (at least) need to be buffed up a bit... if anyone thinks they can do betterwould like to lend a hand, I'd certainly appreciate it. Was trying to go for a bit of Pemalites, with some actual dog behaviors mixed in.

Would it be redundant if a Laika becomes a werewolf/weredog as well?
