...To save future reviewers the time, Hidden Objects is in the Homebrew Feats & Classes pdf, and was attached to the Maid. I see no glaring problems with these classes, other than the possibility that someone might jump on the Librarian for stealing the Arcane Knight's shtick? |

Nah, but I will jump on the Librarian for stealing the Scholar's shtick. He's more knowledgeable, has more skills, has better skills, and learns Kung Fu at the end. Maybe this is okay, but nobody will ever choose the Scholar as long as Librarian exists. I'm a bit baffled by the Janitor's skillset overall. Why do they have better Academic Lore than the Merchant? Why can they Intimidate if they're all Unremarkable? Why do they have twice as many required feats as the Peasant? What is it you're going for with these guys? |

...I'm going to hazard a guess that the Janitor skills have something to do with Bruce Almighty? |

My intention with the Librarian was to make a class that represents studying up different topics which eventually culminates into a self-taught discipline. Stealth and intimidation thrown in to represent the librarian's ability to maintain silence within the self and in others. You may be right about the Librarian outshining the scholar, but I feel that the scholar is much weaker than the Initiate when your following the obvious paths the classes were setting you up for. The Janitor is a starter for a Almighty Janitor Trope/Will Hunting from Good Will hunting style of character that picks up/has knowledge that others wouldn't expect, and can do a little bit of everything simply because a janitor has to do a bit of everything. Unremarkable because noone pays attention to the help, and intimidation because I had some tough ass dudes cleaning up my schools. I'm not sure why a merchant would necessarily have a lot going in the way of academic lore (economics 101 is helpful, but not every salesman went to college), but if you guys think that's a necessary skill, I can add it. I'm happy to try and clarify my ideas further, and I'd like any suggestions you have. |
