So, uh... kinda noticed nobody did anything based on the "classic" image of D&D's ranger class. Y'know, the one that involves a weapon in each hand, and is kinda like a fighter with slightly more skills? So I tried it, here's the first draft. Kinda started by mashing Rogue and Guardsman together, had in mind Driz'zt and that half-naked blonde bint from X-Blades/Blades of Time, and the class chain in Xenoblade X that ends in what I've determined is the absolute best class name ever. I do plan to go back over this; for now, the general idea is versatility and probably an emphasis on movement and positioning over being all sneaky-like. |

I'd tell you to lift feats from AdEva's MSkirmisher, except it was stupid broken soooo... The multiclassing opportunities for this are nice |

Could probably use a two-weapon Gun Kata that isn't Daemon Trigger, but that might just be me overthinking things again... Any comments regarding feats or other suggestions that might be good for the concept? |

...I never considered it important to the Ranger archetype, and Driz'zt's is a magical figurine? That said, maybe as an optional feat? EDIT: Realized I had an item duplication error in Winged Viper, so I went ahead and stuck the new feats in.

Well, it isn't needed for just a 2-handed fighter archetype, but Rangers usually have nature stuff to an extent as well, such as Animal Companions and Wild Empathy. An Animal Companion might synergize well with the Class's focus on flanking and ganging up as well, giving an immediate way to take advantage of it by having your minion break off from you. True. I'm also a bit concerned that going for the full "ranger" suite might spread it a bit thin... I've already got the "two hands + ranged" thing they've had a lot of, and I know I'll be drawing the line at giving them spellcasting...

True. Some of those levels take 900xp if you take all the optional feats, but at least they're optional if a character is in a hurry to level. I ran into a similar issue with a Class I was putting together, had to cut Sound Constitution out of a few levels. Leave the magic and nature to the Druids, Rangers have enough on their plates. ...Oh, and before someone gets on me about the Level Completion bonus, it was going to be +1 Static Defense against Opportunity Attacks, but then I remembered Defensive Mobility exists and changed it to something I didn't recall seeing before.
