Well, nothing is making us use Level. I'd be all for it, but it would put us at a weird max number like 16 or 17, assuming we use mental characteristics in the calculations. |

Oy, 17's a prime number, which is at least fitting for an exalt about brain power. |

While that is impressive, I wouldn't want to push any of them over 20. I mean, Atlanteans and Daemonhosts having 20 is what I already consider pushing it. Back to powers. At Ego 3, both of you put "Spend a Psi to get Flyer", while I put the TK actions from Force Sensitive. Can we do both? |

Vampires get 25 by default, any of the ones using Resolve can easily push nearer to that with the right feats. As for "spend Psi to get Flyer," in this thread I'm advocating locking that behind an asset; you get bog-standard TK benefits from the base exalt, but it takes an Environmental specialist to launch herself through the air safely, see? |

I forgot about Vampires getting 25. Then again, resource gain involves injuring people, and they lose it pretty quickly. I would be okay with spending Psi to get Flyer as an asset only. That leaves 3 open for more TK. What's for 4? We all had different ideas for what to do with that. |

If I may interject with a minor suggestion: Changing "Life Sense" to "Mind Sense" makes Thematic Sense. PS: If it makes a difference, 17 has been determined by mathematics to be subjectively the best number. I know several mathematicians who will back me up on this. EDIT: cool things about 17 include:

Life Sense to Mind Sense makes a good deal of Sense to me. You're going to have to explain 17 to me, though. EDIT: Mind Sense also has the obvious weakness of not being able to detect Mindless enemies. It'll be pretty funny when it becomes relevant in a campaign. Edited by weredrago2, Feb 4 2016, 11:17 PM.

Lords of Madness presents a feat, Mindsight, with the prerequisite of telepathy, that allows the user to detect and pinpoint beings that are not mindless within the range of its telepathy. This does not overrule blindness; the creature knows where the thing it's "seeing" is, but still doesn't actually see it through Mindsight alone. It does, however, allow the user to immediately perceive a few observable characteristics, such as type and Intelligence, which are as obvious to Mindsight as race and clothing would be to eyesight. |
