Slugs actually have a racial feat similar to that, based off the ability of Slugs from FTL: Faster than Light. |

...Which may or may not be what the feat from Lords of Madness was based on, so probably an appropriate coincidence.

Since Sload are also from Pandemonium, long term exposure to their powers could also trigger the creation of a Psion, like Mind Flayers and Aboleths. EDIT: I put up another thread on /tg/ to get some feedback. A person commented that +20 Warp Phenomena is overused, and could be replaced with double Insanity. Thoughts? I agree, +20 warp is overused. Double insanity is better and makes them better casters, while meaning they still need to be careful of the warp rolls they do get. I still think the original Force User exaltation before it was switched was fine though. Edited by Username, Feb 5 2016, 12:37 AM.

I may be remembering incorrectly (distinct possibility), but I seem to recall that parapsychics were at much higher risk for insanity than sorcerers in Cthulhu Tech? Also, Neogi do the mind slaving thing, which could very well lead to what amounts to resistance-training for the brain meats. Githyanki and Githzerai are also traditionally psionic races. |

Alright, double Insanity it is. For anyone using Corruption (not reccomended), double that too. I don't know crap about Cthulhu Tech, so I couldn't help you there. Also, I guess that means we can give Gith their sample Psion heroes again. |

Suggestion: Tap weredrago's Warped Mind for the secondary benefits at Ego 2. |

Alright, I've posted our outline for the NotMage in the OP. So far it seems to be working out okay. Mainly, we need the top-level powers. As far as Assets, I have two ideas that make for a lighter load:
If we are going to have each of the four remaining Ego traits correspond to one of the four abilities, then Unnatural Mind could be the Somatic one, Flight could be the telekinesis one, and then we just need Super Mind Sense and Super Telepathy at Ego 4/5. |

Telekinesis should be renamed to something else. Telepathy should say 'focus attention on creature in range of Mind Sense'. I would avoid mentioning Corruption on Unquiet Whispers. Also, can't take Tested. We still doing Wild Talent's spell component cutting? Ego 3 should be Effect Mass. |

That was just a way to distinguish them from mages. But an even better way to do that is..have them not be mages. So no need. Rest of the suggestions so far (besides the no-Tested, for the same reasons as above) have been implemented. Edited by Kwak, Feb 5 2016, 01:18 AM.
