Actually, I wrote Disassemble with the intention that you would be allowed to remove your head. You can't take somebody else's body the way Sodium described it, but you can still take it off for other creative purposes.

Shame, would be a cool asset if you couldn't heal any body parts except the head and the only way to heal is replacing body parts, rendering bodysnatching the only way to heal the body and/or gizzards, although I don't know if it's really balanced this way

I must be misunderstanding you, because an asset that disables other powers doesn't sound like a good asset at all.

Assets don't do that. If, by chance, the actual power allowing the Harrowed to do this did, however, then an asset could be made to allow them to heal normally, a la the Promethean's Wraithbone asset.

In general, if an exalt has two "penalty" powers, at least one asset should exist to mitigate one of those penalties.

Had to do some tweaks to the Disassemble power. Hitting disembodied limbs faces a penalty identical to a normal Called Shot, and I decreased the movement rate of your torn off parts to 1/4th your Speed (rounding up).

I feel like "danse" would be more Evasion than Fleet of Foot...

You're right. Changed.

That change is especially useful since at Power Stat 3, you can spend a resolve to make your legs count as Good Quality bionic legs, which give Fleet of Foot.

Here's a bit of fluff to soften the rough edges of Spare Part's crunch: The Harrowed should be decaying, but stay together, stay themselves, by pure will. If their new limb has claws or is indestructible or whatever, the Harrowed wouldn't be able to support that capability for various waffly but plausible-sounding reasons. The Claws snap right off because the Harrowed's mental image of themselves doesn't include them. The superarm loses it's superness because the Harrowed's incorporates it into their decaying essence, but they don't have the wherewithal to sustain the invincibility. Well, at least until Harrowing 5.

This ends up solving a couple of less-argued problems, like how a fairy could use a goliath arm, or how a ghoul could still have its claws after swiping an octopus arm. It also conjures the neat image of the Harrowed's stolen limbs ending up looking like their original shape was twisted into the shape the Harrowed's limbs are supposed to be.

Well once you get Chimera, they really are meant to stay what they were before.
