Yeah. I mean, the worst that can happen is me not putting something in and/or somebody calling your opinions shit - in which case, I'd be willing to bet their opinions are even shittier. So don't worry about it.

personally I'd like to see all of it in the Book of Brew(obviously after getting tuned up a little), cause while it's silly, it's the sort of silly I feel is needed in DtD(cause if it gets all serious then we end up with current 40k and that's just awful), heck the Ferran is a perfectly cromulent race and is no worse than probably 80% of the races already lined up for BoB(and quite a few in Books 1 & 2) when you get down to it(heck the only real reason to leave Unicorn out is just to get people to shut up, although if Doc wants to I'd suggest making a separate PDF for them as well to make it easier for those who do want to use them) Edited by drrockso20, Feb 20 2016, 02:30 AM.

People were starting to lump Ferrans and Unicorns together and make the same criticisms, so as far as I'm concerned the two of them either stay together or go together. Plus there's just a lot of races and the only one I can cut is my own so I'm cutting it. But we could certainly make a google doc or something containing some of those options just for ease of use |

There are three major problems with putting everything in the book. 1. Size. The current BBOB is already nearing the size of the original. Its become a monster of a book, which is why we needed to split it up into smaller booklets in the first place. Removing some things will remedy that. 2. It would never be finished. Doc would need to update all the time in order to keep up with our mercurial and ever changing whims. This also ties into the problem above. 3. /tg/. No way no how are Unicorns and Ferrans getting in the BBOB. Every thread will be devoted to shitposting about their inclusion. God forbid they just ignore that they share the same book with Namekians and fucking robots. Apparently, colorful horses that shit rainbows are crossing some sort of line that talking cow men don't. EDIT: I could make a document for all of these homebrew rejects, but will I? If I do, I'll make the whole thing in Comic Sans MS just to fuck with people. Edited by weredrago2, Feb 20 2016, 02:42 AM.

well in that case I'd say screw the haters and include both, to be frank if they're going to continue to be whiny bitches like that then they should have their opinions discarded cause that kind of behavior is way more toxic to a community than anything that Ferrans or Unicorns could bring(seriously it's one thing to hate on something, it's another to be constantly whining about it, especially since it's probably just one or two people using anonymity to look like a larger group) |

Maybe, just maybe, there's some way to restructure the forum, or utilize some sort of tool so that that becomes no longer the case. (cue sugarplum dreams of d20srd.org-style updateable site dancing in my head) |

if it comes down to it I say let the /tg/ community burn, most of them who aren't here are intolerant dicks anyways, and if we need fresh blood, well there's a dozen other forums we could recruit from in a more useful manner Edited by drrockso20, Feb 20 2016, 02:43 AM.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but whiny bitches seem to be the majority. I can't be assed to make a Strawpoll to see how many people actually want to keep/remove Unicorns, but anyone who wants to certainly has my permission. |

going off just majority rule is a really bad idea, at least when it involves 4chan, also Strawpolls are incredibly unreliable for gathering this sort of data, cause everyone will just use proxies to manipulate the results to what they want |
