NEW Feats

Unseen Sense
Groups: Undead, Ephemeral Entities, Witches, etc.
You've got a particular 'sense' for certain supernatural critters. Your hand twitches funny, or a chill goes up your spine when it's near. When you purchase this feat, determine what type of creature it applies to. Your 'sense' acts up whenever this creature is near you, regardless of how they try to hide. This feat can be purchased multiple times, selecting a new type of monster each time.

Esoteric Armory
Every bullet comes with a splinter of holy oak and a drop of holy water. When you are dealing damage to a creature that has special healing or resilience that is bypassed by E-type damage, treat your weapon's damage as that type.

Inquisitorial Eye
Your ability to root out the supernatural borders on the supernatural itself. You can spend a Hero Point to look past any magical or mundane illusions that would trick the senses or disguise the nature of a supernatural creature for a scene.

Improved Esoteric Armory
Saints' bones, rock salt, prayer strips - you name it, it's loaded in your shotgun. If you are attacking to a creature with a weapon that is anathema to them (silver for werewolves, cold iron for fae, holy items for daemons), increase the damage of your weapon by +0k1.

This is a great addition, could maybe use a few more new feats for additional uniqueness flavor imo.

If you wanted to add more pop culture references there's plenty of places to source them from; Buffy, Blade and Supernatural spring to mind.

I wanted to keep new feats to a minimum with this one. That, and I couldn't think of any besides the four listed. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them.

Hunters in Supernatural shows have a tendency to die or almost die and miraculously come back to life, maybe giving them a feat which gives them access to purchase the Nine Lives Asset after character creation?

Perhaps something referencing the Monster Of the Week trope frequently used with hunters, Maybe a feat giving a bonus to Lore skills for researching what kind of thing you're hunting / encountering and discovering it's weaknesses?

I'll dig up my Supernatural RPG books and see if I can find anything in there.

Or requiring it to take the first level. Which seems appropriate, given it's called "Victim."

Extremely Confused
A feat where wearing a charm of your alignment decreases the insanity/corruption that you would gain by 1? A feat where the first fear test/shock roll you make in a scene allows you to regain a spent resource/hero point? Maybe have -1 to rolls on the shock table as the class completion bonus, seeing as there's a homebrew spell which forces you to roll on it and I'm honestly not entirely sure whether or not it ignores Fearless?

I was looking at this class again and I noticed how the new bonus is +1 to fear tests. Certainly handy, but a bit odd as well since it means over the course of 5 levels you get an ability that is beaten by 1 feat, a feat which this class even has access to in the end.

Perhaps a better way to implement it would be +1 to rolls with Willpower? This is a bit more broad but should not be overpowering in my opinion and seems like it might be more fitting. This means you would get the bonus against fear (normally) but it also protects from certain magical abilities like Vampires trying to control your mind, ghosts possessing you, insanity and corruption from Psychic phenomena. Even if you do get Fearless and make the fear resistance aspect no longer valid, it would still be useful since the bonus to all Willpower rolls would making resisting the downside of Fearless easier as well. The only odd thing about a bonus to Willpower rolls is that it would make Abjuration and Conjuration easier, although still not to the same extent as leveling in Magic-User. This Classline doesn't even get Conjuration or Abjuration either so it also only comes into play when multiclassing.

The other idea came to me when I was examining the Gun Kata given by this class, Point Blank. The class only gets a single Gun Kata and I was thinking the Tin Star gun kata would be very fitting for the class. Tin Star is very lawmanesque, but it works for other things as well. Silver Bullets, Justifier, Worthy Foes and the like all seem applicable to a Hunter of the supernatural as well.

You have a point about the Completion Bonus being negated by Fearless. Changing it to a +1 to all Willpower tests, which is much more applicable. A Willpower test is a Characteristic test, so I don't think I need to specify the difference between that and any other test that rolls and keeps Willpower (such as Focus Power Tests).

Looking on the School/Kata list, I noticed room for another Gun Kata. I'll throw in Tin Star if you think it's appropriate. If you want me to use some homebrew Schools or Katas, let me know. I want those to get some love as well.

I do think Tin Star is appropriate for the class and what it does, as a Hunter of the supernatural foes in the same way the Sheriff hunts criminals.

I feel similar about giving Homebrew Gun Kata love by putting them in homebrew classes, but at this time it appears as though almost no classes other than the Sheriff actually uses Tin Star. There were a few but they were mostly switched out for other homebrew Kata. At this time the only class I saw that gave Tin Star other than Sheriff was the specialist Bounty Hunter class by Kwak, a single level 4 class with no other levels. So if you didn't dip in that or want Law Enforcement backing, you'd need to go Street Sammy and spend the completion bonuses on Tin Star, which would still only get you to rank 3 tops.

Diamond Mind would enable a sufficiently advanced Hunter to more easily cripple exalts that fall under his umbrellas. Do please recall that the fluff for it even says it was developed to give mortals a fighting chance against them. Immortal Smoke accomplishes the same as a Gun Kata.

Chthonic Serpent makes it somewhat easier to play an Inquisitor-type, who might want to "capture" a target first in order to force them to "confess" their sins before "absolving" them via execution. Devoted Spirit might be similarly useful, since the creatures listed in the Unseen Sense feat are (in folklore) typically exposed or threatened by religious fervor.
