For some reason when I read this class, I imagine Boodborne despite having never played it. I'm reading this class as drawing inspiration from Hunter the Reckoning/Vigil, Bloodborne, Blade and other various Vampire/Daemon/Supernatural Hunting things throughout fiction. Is this the correct reading? The use of both Firearms and Weapons through the Gun Kata and Sword Schools, along with the lack of armor proficiency does bring what I know of Bloodborne to mind.

Yep, that would be the gist of it. With Diamond Mind on top of Hatred and Esoteric Armory, a Hunter can become the perfect anti-Exalted specialist.

Extremely Confused
Esoteric Armory?
Also, would Unseen Sense be applicable to mutants?

You could do either Unseen Sense (Mutants) or Unseen Sense (Chaos). The latter wouldn't ping for an average tiefling, but it would ping for an aasimar with horrible warp degenerations.

With that in mind, Unseen Sense should probably be formatted more like Hatred. To wit:

Feat Name
Groups: Heretics, Gnomes, Tax Evaders, etc.
Feat Benefit

Replaced Arcane Blade with Two Weapon Fighting.

That makes sense. Since the class is half guns and half melee, it would be odd to have it only get Arcane Blade. I could see an Arcane Blade OR Gun Blessing option though. Now the class can be more bloodborne-esque, shootan and fightan at the same time.

I took out Arcane Blade because I wanted to keep the Hunter low magic. You can always dip into Arcane Knight and Gun Mage (or whatever it's called) to get those feats and make your Hunter more versatile.
