Homebrew Exalt - Keyblader; Yes, it is a little on the nose, isn't it?

Nice.
Makes me wonder when they will finally release KH3...

The only thing I think it misses is the ability to have drive modes. Or at least some way of dual wielding Keyblades.

I initially had Drive Modes as an asset, but then I thought "Do I really need to implement a complex subsystem into what is currently a relatively simple Exaltation?" and ended up replaced it with Iron Heart Surge.

Also, look at Synch Blade.

Idiot clause needed for the "summoning" part. "As a Ready action" is more important than "at will."

Changed it. I also removed the Implement part because Tower of Iron is a thing.

It doesn't say what the action is to swap out keychains. Is that just a free action, half action, what?

"Freely" in Keychains means it can be done anytime, anywhere. Summoning or dismissing your key is a free action under Keyblade Wielder.

Note: Assuming that "getting a naked weapon into hand" counts as Readying a weapon, Keyblade Wielder probably hits the "Close Enough" clause for Quick Draw.

Question. How does Synch Blade interact with Keyblade Armor?

Does it create something a mix of both, or does it pick one and roll with it, or what?

-Edit: Yeah, appearance was what i meant. well, whatever. it was probably a "duh"-level common sense question.

It doesn't. Armor asset is phrased such that it functions identically to but independent from keyblades. It's not a different set of stats for each one, though given its nature I don't think it'd be remiss for it to change appearance based on your choice of arms.

Keyblade Wielder: You gain a keyblade, an Artifact with the profile of a hand weapon (3k2 R, Melee) and two melee mods with a total cost modifier of +3 or lower. You can summon or dismiss your keyblade as a free action, and are proficient with the weapon as long as you have Weapon Proficiency (Any Melee or Basic). Your keyblade counts as the correct weapon for your martial maneuvers as long as you are proficient with the Sword School's normal weapon type.
I have a question regarding this ability. It mentions that the keyblades are Artifacts, but it doesn't mention whenever they should have a material bonus or not. Which is the right interpretation?

They don't have a material bonus. They just deal magic damage and don't break/get lost.
