Becomming a Serpah:
If a mortal's soul is strong enough when they die, they could draw the attention of their deity.
Should this be positive they might be elevated to Seraphs.

Tell:
As the Seraph spends more resource their wings and halo become more and more visible, even in the materium. They also start to gain an otherworldly glow.
On higher tell levels this glow will turn into god rays that seem to come out of nowhere and even appear inside or underground.

Powers:
Sworn to Serve - If a Seraph fails an alignment test the world rejects them going against their very core. Roll on the Psychic phenomena table with a +5
for every point you were beyond your Devotion. You gain the Armor of Contempt feat. Whenever you buy a point of Ascendance you also gain 1 point of devotion.
Born to Duty - When a Seraph is making a stunt that directly works toward their alignment they gain a free raise on the stunt.
However if they would stunt something that would work against their alignment they suffer a check on the stunt.
Eternal Servitude - When a Seraph would die they may choose to automatically fail an alignment test instead of burning a hero point to survive.
If they choose to do this roll 1d10, treat the result of this d10 as your points beyond Devotion for Sworn to Serve.
Wings of Heaven - Every Seraph has two to ten wings and a halo that exist within the Umbra. They gain the flyer trait with speed equal to their normal land speed.

Power Stat: Ascendance
The Ascendance of Seraphs represents what powers were bestowed upon them.
For every point of Ascendance the Seraph has two wings, making it immediatly obvious how powerful a Seraph is assuming it's wings are visible, either by their tell or to someone capable of seeing into the umbra.

Resource Stat: Blessings
A Seraph's maximum Blessings is equal to his Devotion + Ascendance.
Whenever you would regain a point of Resolve you also regain an equal amount of Blessings. (If you cannot regain more resolve you still regain Blessings equal to the amount of Resolve you would have regained.)

AscendancePower Gained
*Divine Arsenal - Any attack you make gains the benefit of the Sanctified (your alignment) property. You can however never benefit of the Sanctified property when it is of a different alignment than yours.
**Holy Resilience - Gain the Daemonic trait, however you use half your Devotion instead of your Constitution.
***Holy Ward - Gain Aura equal to half your Devotion + your Ascendance. This does not stack with any other sources of Aura.
****Radiance of Retribution - As a half action you can spend Blessings to gain a Fear rating equal to the amount of Blessings spent to activate this ability. This fear lasts until the end of the current scene. If you use this ability a second time in the same scene it does not stack with the previous use but rather replaces it.
*****Beyond mere Flesh - Gain the Stuff of Nightmares trait. Holy Resilience and Holy Ward now use your full Devotion.

Assets:
Different Seraphs belong to different choirs. These choirs all have their own specialties and tasks.
Throne - These Seraph have white wings, showing their status as guardians. You gain the Guardian feat. If you have Spell Parry you may parry spells when using Guardian by using Spell Parry as if they targeted you.
Grave - The black winged Seraph in the choir of the grave ensure that what is dead remains dead. You gain the Hatred (Undead) feat and the bonus from Divine Arsenal's Sanctified property applies to all undead in addition to it's normal effects. Though it does not stack with itself.
Power - Red wings show the comming of a storm taking physical form. Seraph in the choir of Power are the swords and guns of their deity. Choose one sword school OR gun kata, you gain a free dot in this school/kata and may treat it as if it appeared in all your class progression tracks.
Lore - Tranquil as the sea and hiding as many secrets. The blue winged choir of Lore protects and keeps the information of their deity. Choose one magic school, you gain a free rank in this school and may treat it as if it appeared in all your class progression tracks.
Watchers - The choir of watchers who bear yelllow wings observe, they are the eyes and ears of their deity. You gain +1k0 on perception and scrutiny tests. You can see into the umbra as easily as you do the materium.
Healers - Green winged, the choir of Healers takes care of those who were wounded in the service of their deity. For every dot of Ascendance you gain a free rank in the Healing magic school.

Whenever you buy a point in your Ascendance you also gain a point in Devotion.
This line is either completely unnecessary (this exalt's advancement is not capped by Devotion) or woefully out of place (power stat description is entirely fluff with no mechanical impact). Either way, it needs to not be where you put it.

Also, first image is a wikia link; try this if you must have a Digimon image. Otherwise, I'd stick to something like Iona.

Most of the Exaltation's abilities rely on Devotion, so it would only be fair if a Seraph gains a point of Devotion each time they raise their Ascendance.

I think the idea is that you mitigate XP spending by giving free devotion as much of the exalt's power scales with Devotion, instead of as a limiting factor.

Then it's out of place and needs to be folded into a power. You should be able to erase the description of Ascendance and not lose any mechanical effect.

I will move that to a power, thank you for the heads up Eisen. Also, the image you sent is very nice so I'll be replacing the digimon image. I mostly used it since he had many wings.
And GT you are indeed right, it is meant to mitigate exp spending somewhat.
