New Feats: Arc Node: When casting spells you may change the point of origin to your Customized Robo, if it is online. The choice to do so must be made before the focus power test and if psychic phenomena would occur the spell fails (though the phenomena still happens, centered on the Robo). Customized Robo: You've got a robot buddy/servant/puppet, congratulations! Create a level 1 construct using the monster creation rules. Your Customized Robo operates under your control, but if it ventures more than your willpower*5 meters away from you it shuts down until you return to it. If your Robo is lost or destroyed you may spend a day of downtime to rebuild it. You may also redesign the robo's stats with a day of work and a TN20 tech-use test. Your robo can never have the Customized Robo feat. Interspersed outburst: Choose either a +2 or two +1 ranged weapon mods. When making an attack with your Luminen Blast you may apply those mods to the attack's profile by taking two points of fatigue. Myelin: You gain aura equal to the amount of cybernetics you have, to a maximum of your level. Optional: If playing with Strain rules, change this feat's effect to: "The character does not suffer penalties to focus power tests from strain" Heavy Warjack: Your Customized Robo has reached peak performance. The Robo's level is increased to level 3. Light Warjack: Your Customized Robo has been upgraded, huzzah. The Robo's level is increased to level 2. Edited by Scrapyard_Dragon, Jul 8 2018, 11:09 PM.

Edit cycle time woo: Added some armor proficiencies as optional feats. If you're upset that it takes so long to get to extreme/power, remember, this class can multi into tech priest stupidly easily, and they get Aprof (any) at level 1. Changed to two mandatory spell books to optional (may undo this one) and cut out the two tested's at levels 2 and 3. Edit 2: Feats are now in alphabetical order. Edit 3: Changed robo so that you can't spend resource to replace it, and the time it takes to replace it has been extended to a full day. Clarified that you do indeed control it. OK, big changes this time around after getting plenty of playtest data. Namely, changes to the robot. First of all, Arc node has been moved down to level 3, meaning that the robot gets an upgrade at every step along the way. The second, is that the robot's level curve has been lowered. Level 3 monsters alone are potent, let alone level 5. Thus, soulboost has been gutted, with the robo reaching level 2 at mechromancer 4, and level 3 at 5. The problem with soulboost is that a time limit being the restriction doesn't matter, because in the window you do have, most things will get killed by the time its over. |
